This is the real deal for breakfast. Drove 10 minutes off the freeway to try this place. Country fried steak was huge. Hash browns are plentiful and perfectly cooked as were the eggs. Glad I stopped.

I really wanted to find a good breakfast restaurant in Kingman. Sadly, this was not the place. The sign out front says they're celebrating 30 years of business. You would think after that long they would've perfected a simple breakfast. While the coffee was OK, that's where it ended. I ordered corned beef hash, two eggs scrambled, country potatoes, and sourdough toast. The corned beef hash came out cold and uncooked, the country potatoes were chunks of undercooked potato with raw onions and bell peppers, and the sourdough toast was warmed bread soaked in butter. The eggs were scrambled, kind of. Even when they picked up my breakfast plate with only the eggs gone, they never asked if everything was OK, just did I want me to go box. No thank you. This is a cute restaurant, and I really wanted it to be successful in being my new go to breakfast place. Oh well, I'm still on the search for a good old fashioned coffee shop with a nice breakfast and good cup of coffee. This sure wasn't it!

The place was clean and gave off a Route 66 vibe. Service was great and food excellent! Large portions cooked to order.

Nice little breakfast joint! Big portions and quick service! It was really busy when we arrived on a Sunday morning, but we still managed to find a table and seat ourselves. We ordered a wide array of breakfast food, my favorite was the breakfast burrito!

Stopped through Kingman on a roadtrip from LA to Jacksonville, TX, and needed to grab a bite in the morning. This place was perfect! I was the only person sitting outside, and the view is stunning-- it's my first time in Arizona, and I was struck by the beauty of the Mojave. The staff were unbelievably kind & helpful. I am vegetarian, and they offered to customize my breakfast burrito to use vegetables instead of meat, at no additional cost. The burrito itself was delicious, not to mention MASSIVE-- I have half of it in my car to enjoy later on the road. And all of it came out to $11.61 after taxes. Especially coming from LA prices, I felt unbelievably spoiled. Highly recommend this spot.

Chicken fried steak

One of the cutest places we've been to in a minute. Old school and home cooked. Loved all of the signs on the wall, they were fun to read while waiting for our food. Service was a group effort and everyone was very nice.

My husband and I stopped here with our small dog on the way back to California from Texas and had a very tasty meal here. The owner and wait staff were super friendly and accommodating and our food was delicious. Quick service and we were on the road again within 35 minutes of our arrival. It was definitely worth driving a couple of miles off the highway for local, fast and friendly service. We recommend!

I love chicken fried steak so I ordered it à la carte with extra extra gravy. It was perfect and so delicious I was suddenly hungry after my first bite. I can see the appeal of this place and I understand why customers were not in favor of modernizing. It's perfect just as it is. Please note the TAKE HOME MEALS in picture. Seems like a nice deal. I've thought about the hash brown casserole for years and looked forward to satisfying my hunger for the potato casserole. I was extremely disappointed when I saw the "casserole" come to the table. Shredded potatoes?? What the heck? The waitress confirmed the recipe had changed. They were dry and unappealing. The waitress saw the displeasure on my face and asked several times if I wanted to replace them. I declined. I was really looking forward to the potato casserole. The restaurant ambience was as remembered and the staff were all very nice and friendly. My son enjoyed his food as he had the 4 piece fried chicken dinner with three sides. Note the sides are much smaller as I remembered them to be. Mac n cheese was good but not the same. I guess costs and overhead are cutting into food quality. Sadly I won't be returning to any Cracker Barrel in any state, unless the original casserole recipe is brought back. But I'm one person and don't think the casserole will return.
