Great place to find Filipino prepared foods, bakery items and specialty groceries. I love stopping by when I'm in the area to get something new to try! The staff is so friendly and helpful.

I was looking for a particular hard candy i remember buying in Chinatown. I will try some other Asian stores this weekend. For authentic Filipino cuisine or if you need specific ingredients to create your own yummy goodness I recommend Island Pacific. Salamat

Location: Island Pacific Market Date: October 24, 2025 Service: Take Out It's the weekend and time to get some food. I was in the area with my mother, taking her out to get some fresh air and some groceries. My mom enjoys great food from all different types of cultures and ethnicity. We decided to stop by Island Pacific located of N. 1st St. The food is called fresh reasonably priced. My mom ordered the number two combo with some lumpia on the side and garlic peanuts. The line was not too long. It went by pretty fast. There is parking outside open to the public. I definitely recommend you stop by on the Pacific to see what they have food wise cooked or fresh meat or other grocery items. Check out the photos attached to this review.

There's a new bakery inside IP right at the entrance. There's so many desserts and pillowy soft baked breads to choose from. I love the fact there's always a plethora of clean cut Bok Choy to choose from for all the soups I make Sinigang, Nilaga, and tinola. There's always staff around to help you either at the bakery, deli, seafood fry and cashier. I really enjoy shopping there because it's so neat and organized. You will always find the same item in the same section and it's been like this for years, the comfort of shopping for last minute meals can never be a difficult task.

Bakery items are so good and fresh! I'm so glad the bakery is open.. definitely don't have to look very far for pastries and treats anymore. Service and staff is so helpful and there's so many good finds at this market.

This store is great. They have everything from freshly baked foods and most Asian household items you need. Frozen section and meat/seafood department is clean and so much to choose from. Their hot and ready foods have every type of Filipino dish. So much variety! The young man working was very helpful, he let me sample chicken skin which I ended up buying a half lb. He was helpful about letting us know what is what since we aren't familiar with some of the dishes. Place is clean and bright, everyone kept neat. We left with a combo #1 , came with pancit and steam rice and we chose pork bbq stick. So bomb. Also tried out their lumpia's which were huge, was mostly filled with veggies. They also have a bakery, everyone look so good and smelled great! Definitely a grocery store to check out

I like coming here to get my fresh tilapia. They have it on ice. They have a lot of other varieties of fish as well. They take the scales out for you and the insides if you ask them to. I appreciate the sink in the back to wash your hands if needed. While they do that, I like to walk around the store to see what they have. I always go to the noodle section. Saw some noodles on my last visit I might want to try next time. I got the viral fruit shaped ice creams here too and they were a little cheaper than other competitors. They carry a lot of Filipino cooking necessities like pre prepped ingredients. And a bunch of Filipino brands. It is a Filipino store after all lol. I like that they have a food court in there too. Didn't have the best experience when I got food there but I kinda think I'll give it another shot next time I grocery shop there. The workers there are also friendly.

Service was pleasant & helpful. Area was very clean. Meat skewers are delicious. They have a nice char on them. Pancit needs more flavor & lime. Lumpia were ok.

Love that there's an island pacific that's closer to me than having to go over the hill to the Bay Area. You'll find all your essentials, I grabbed pancit noodles and some sauce packets, and some snacks. There were a lot of shoppers when I came so no carts or hand baskets were available, make sure to grab your reusable bags so you can have something to put your items in. The staff are super friendly, as with just about any Filipino person you'll meet! They have a hot food restaurant serving up grilled chicken and pork skewers and a variety of your typical Filipino dishes. I got the skewers with pancit and lechon. It was really good and totally hit the spot. There's a decently sized seating area to have your lunch, but it can get packed. When I walked into the store every chair was taken. Luckily a spot opened up when I was done shopping and ready for lunch. I'll definitely be coming here for my Filipino cravings if I don't have to drive to the Bay Area.

The newly opened fresh pandesal counter is something to try ! The aroma of freshly baked goods that embrace you as you walk into the store was a nice touch.

I haven't had Filipino food in a while so this hit the spot! It was busy here on a Saturday afternoon but worth the wait. The chicken adobo was my absolute favorite! I love that this place is a market as well so you can grocery shop and grab food after or vise versa!

Bought this yesterday and it's already moldy. The noodles were in the fridge isle in the market and I used a cooler bag with ice pack to bring the grocery home. Very disappointing and who knows what else I bought yesterday that has already spoiled in the store. The store was not helpful when I contacted them on the phone to assist. Definitely check your groceries or just avoid perishables at all cost here.

But if you are a serious person when it comes to cook outs and grilling you may want to consider getting some meat here. I was surprised to see so many options, the kababs were huge and really stuck out to me. I'm sure they would taste great off the grill. They have a small produce section and carry local wines as well and all types of seasonings. After checking out the store I walked over to the hot food area. I ordered a tritip sandwich combo w home made potato salad. I chose Au ju and bbq for my sauces. Despite all the orders they were getting at the window, the wait time was minimal. I noticed the lady preparing and handing over the orders kept forgetting items and she wasn't too friendly about it. I was no exception - she forgot my potato salad and when I mentioned it to her she didn't believe me and told me to hand over the receipt. Kind of rude. The sandwich was good size and overall tasty. Not too salty. Au ju was way too thick and salty and bbq tasted like kraft bbq. Potato salad was decent. A little too much onion for my liking. I made 2 meals out of it all which means that is a decent value for what I paid. (14.99).

We thought we'd give it a shot and we're super excited to try it. I came in right before closing and got the family meal. I was bummed to find out that it includes no barbecue sauce you have to buy separate sides of barbecue sauce (never been to a barbecue place that charges for sauce ever.) in the Wednesday family meal it comes with tri-tip which they charge you $1.50 slicing fee ( never heard of that either) for for our large side we chose cowboy beans which were actually pretty good. They were a little on the spicy side my kids said but I thought they were great. We also opted to get a large side of their mac and cheese which had bacon and to be honest was kind of bland. Our kids didn't like it even though it looked great. You also get a 2 l of soda but the only options are Coke or diet Coke. The meal smelt super good on the way home but once we got it open and started serving it, noticed that the meat was super chewy and really stringy even though the smoke flavor tasted really good. Like some previous reviews on their meal deal have mentioned, It was almost inedible. I don't know if the tri tip that they are giving you as a discount in there family meal is leftover bad cuts or stuff that's just been sitting out simmering and water all day. We thought it sounded like a great deal, but we should have specifically read the reviews about the family meal deal for Wednesdays because we were pretty disappointed. We may try the spot for other a la carte options, but we'll skip the Wednesday family meal deal for sure next time.
