Right next to the post office, could easily miss it, fits a handful of cars and kinda rough getting out since it goes right out to Canoga. The interior was like a blast to my childhood. Super outdated, had little quarter machines that were sun bleached, it was crazy to see lol. The food is all out under warmers like panda basically. Lots of options but we went for combo A which has half rice and half chow mein and one entree (I got orange chicken and he got garlic chicken). We also got an order of mapo tofu since that's what we came for and they actually had to make it fresh, maybe that's just the nature of it idk. Came out in minutes! Super quick in and out of this place. Took it home to enjoy and boy did we! Everything tasted so delicious and they really fill the box up! The orange chicken was nice and crisp on the outside which was a huge plus for me. It also didn't taste super "orange-y" like a lot of Chinese restaurants so I was very surprised by that. The person who personally served me was very rude. I did not appreciate being yelled at when I politely explained that my order was incorrect. I ended up leaving with food that I did not order because I did not want to argue with him, especially in front of my family. Unfortunately, the food was also very disappointing. It tasted bland, the fried rice had very little flavor, and the meat had a strange texture. I normally do not leave bad reviews, but I felt it was important to share my experience. I used to come here years ago. I worked basically a few doors down at the Dispensary. I haven't been around in years but I was over in the area and I stopped by. The stand out here is the Spicy Orange Chicken!!! It was perfectly fried and the jalapeños were the perfect complement. The noodles had a great chew to them and my two other sides had a lot of flavor. I went with teriyaki chicken and mushroom chicken. First, the food is mediocre but I knew it wasn't going to be the best. My favorite was the spicy orange chicken and chow mein. Those two definitely helped with my cravings. An issue I did have was that they told me they could make one serving of the regular orange chicken and/or the bbq pork (which I also saw people sitting down and I assume were waiting for their serving of an item) but later told me no. I found it strange but it was okay since I was able to discover the spicy orange chicken. Another thing was, I had specifically asked for the 2 item combo but because they were out of quite a few things, the worker said she'll give me a little extra of something else and made it seem like it was on them. I got the spicy fried chicken from my BFF who always told me about this place. At first, I thought the chicken would be extra extra spicy, but it wasn't (I could handle very spicy food. This chicken had 5/10 to my level) IT WAS SOOOOO GOOOD!! I don't normally eat onions, but somehow they seasoned the whole dish very well, I ended up finish everything in the container!! Ever since Covid period, I haven't been to this a-hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant tucked away amongst mixed used industrial area in the unincorporated suburban Los Angeles's area called Canoga Park. If you drive along Canoga Avenue, passing all the construction sites related to LA Rams practice field area, you may have missed seeing the sign of "Asian Way Chinese Fast Food" which is swallowed up by other known urban franchise or flashy signs. There were limited parking spaces and no EV chargers within the area. Be careful going in & out, for Canoga Ave is pretty busy during the rush hours. There is no paper menu; you may either look the menu up on-line or literally look it up in the restaurant. A lot of combinations dishes are available and portions are big for the price! You may order steamed rice, fried rice, stirred fried noodle (chow mein & chow fun), or combination of them. There are typical Americanese items such as orange chicken, Kung Pao chicken, teriyaki chicken, chicken with vegetables, garlic chicken, spicy orange chicken, BBQ pork, egg rolls, and many more; substitute chicken for beef and you have more items to order. I have been here a few times since then. By the way, you may either eat in or take out. The environment, deco, and ambience are a bit old, dark, damped, and not so much attractive or romantic to bring your date to dine in. Additionally, if you have a group to feed, their catering menu is also very good for price-value. Since I've never dine in, not sure about the restroom cleanliness. That is the last star rating I'm holding out for this fast food joint. Overall volume and taste per order is great for price you paid compared to any Americanese restaurants in the vicinity. Because of that I do recommend this place if you feel like Chinese tonight and you are on strict budget. The price is excellent and it's actually a real bargain for the quality and quantity. One thing that I like that I never get anywhere else is their orange chicken. So yummy I like their Mongolian beef. The service is neither friendly nor mean. I've never eaten in the restaurant because I've always ordered it to go. My go-to place for Chinese food delivery in the valley. Giant portions for the price, and it always hits the spot when I have the craving for American style Chinese. One entree can generously feed 4-5 people, easy. And if you're just ordering for yourself, you can get at least that many meals out of it. The only drawbacks are that styrofoam containers are used, which aren't secure, so when they're packed full sometimes the sauce leaks out and causes a mess in the bag. But that's a small inconvenience if you're careful and just wipe the containers down before putting them out to serve. And if you get the family combo with four entrees, it might just come in a giant aluminum tray covered with tin foil. No frills, but tasty food nonetheless. read more

That said had we not ordered the shrimp fried rice we would have had a problem as the TINY portion of rice that came with the chicken and beef was barely a thimble full. The beef was fairly good even though onion far outweighed beef. The bad - the orange chicken that we received would be better named deep fried orange batter with traces of chicken here and there. Asian Way on Grubhub offers multiple different combos for family meals which made it so much easier ordering. I ordered the Family Combo A, which includes rice, chow mein and 4 items. The 4 I chose for my family dinner were orange chicken, BBQ pork, deep fried chicken wings and teriyaki chicken. When it arrived at my door, the delivery guy gave me a platter that is showed in the photo. The rice and chow mein are underneath the 4 items I have chosen. I think it's a great way to give food with minimum waste at the end. The food was great, well made and tasted really good. For trying Asian Way for the first time for dinner, I would say I would order here again for my family. Overall, good tasting food.
