Friendly staff and they were quick in attending us. The food was great too! The orange chicken was good, the rice & chow mein were great as well. It's a casual mom and pop shop with lots of indoor seating.

    Two item combo!!! Delicious

Excellent Chinese Food with heaping portions.. In this day and age where most restaurants overcharge and under deliver.. this restaurant is the complete opposite.. 12 November 2025.. check out my lunch today!!

Teriyaki chicken, Orange chicken, barbecued pork, fried rice, and Chow Funn noodles. Egg roll/ spring rolls on the side.

Was having food delivered by a service, but I was able to call and get customization not available on that app. Everything was delicious.

I got the spicy fried chicken from my BFF who always told me about this place. At first, I thought the chicken would be extra extra spicy, but it wasn't (I could handle very spicy food. This chicken had 5/10 to my level) IT WAS SOOOOO GOOOD!! I don't normally eat onions, but somehow they seasoned the whole dish very well, I ended up finish everything in the container!! LOL I'm going to go get more of this chicken soon and try other items & the stir fry rice noodles (my BFF recommended that as well).

Chow main , beef broccoli and chicken pepper

The food was really good for a fast food meal it was my first time going here today and it was good. Everything looked fresh the service was fast they accepted cash and card which was great. The place looked clean as well I will be coming back.

Ever since Covid period, I haven't been to this a-hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant tucked away amongst mixed used industrial area in the unincorporated suburban Los Angeles's area called Canoga Park. If you drive along Canoga Avenue, passing all the construction sites related to LA Rams practice field area, you may have missed seeing the sign of "Asian Way Chinese Fast Food" which is swallowed up by other known urban franchise or flashy signs. There were limited parking spaces and no EV chargers within the area. Be careful going in & out, for Canoga Ave is pretty busy during the rush hours. There is no paper menu; you may either look the menu up on-line or literally look it up in the restaurant. A lot of combinations dishes are available and portions are big for the price! You may order steamed rice, fried rice, stirred fried noodle (chow mein & chow fun), or combination of them. There are typical Americanese items such as orange chicken, Kung Pao chicken, teriyaki chicken, chicken with vegetables, garlic chicken, spicy orange chicken, BBQ pork, egg rolls, and many more; substitute chicken for beef and you have more items to order. I have been here a few times since then. By the way, you may either eat in or take out. The environment, deco, and ambience are a bit old, dark, damped, and not so much attractive or romantic to bring your date to dine in. Additionally, if you have a group to feed, their catering menu is also very good for price-value. Since I've never dine in, not sure about the restroom cleanliness. That is the last star rating I'm holding out for this fast food joint. Overall volume and taste per order is great for price you paid compared to any Americanese restaurants in the vicinity. Because of that I do recommend this place if you feel like Chinese tonight and you are on strict budget. Who knows, you might become a regular like me having hooked on the greasiness, great portion, and missing the taste of Americanese food! Enjoy & as always, Bon Appetite!

If your down for an affordable and tasty Chinese food, then Asian Way is your best bet. Call them at least 20 minutes before your meal and they can whip up a meal good for 25 pax all under $200. Clean, fast , affordable and tasty :)

We had another Chinese food choice and afterwards, we wished we had chosen the other place. This restaurant is a dumpy little joint located in a truly gross strip mall. That being said, there were plenty of people eating there, and people getting take out. So, for the area, I guess this is considered one of the better places if you don't feel like driving far. They had a new item - NY style egg rolls. As a New Yorker ex-pat, I take these very seriously and look for them all the time. Unfortunately, these were chicken. You know things are going wrong at a Chinese restaurant when the egg rolls and pot stickers are chicken instead of pork. Clearly catering to people who are not Chinese food aficionados. The egg rolls were edible but in no way good. The pot stickers were meh and the size of gyoza rather than potstickers. We got the chicken with garlic sauce and the kung pao shrimp and begged them to make them extra, extra, extra spicy. As in all non-Asian areas of town, the waitresses' eyes went wide as if we didn't know what we were asking for, but she said okay. Sure enough, both dishes came and were not only not at all spicy but completely bland. I mean super, duper bland. It has nothing to do with my rating or my meal, but watching a family at the table next to us trying to eat mu shu pork and not knowing how to eat a simple age old dish like that was somewhat frightening or amusing or both. I don't know. It was like watching a train wreck in slow motion and I was captivated. Anyway, bottom line is I actually like Americanized Chinese food and even crave it sometimes to mix it up from the standard SGV authentic stuff. This just is not a good place and reminded me of all the horrible Chinese restaurants I tried throughout LA when I first moved here from NYC back in 1994. Can't recommend. Don't go.

I came for lunch with my family and it wasn't too crowded Sunday at 12:30 pm when we came, though slowly a couple more groups trickled in while we were there. They offer lunch/dinner specials that are great if you don't want to share. For $12-13 at lunch, you can get your choice of entree + rice + egg roll + soup/salad. Portions are very generous too! One person got the Szechuwan chicken lunch special for $12 and wasn't able to finish the chicken. The rest of us shared a couple dishes off the regular menu: #102 Combination seafood ($23) #620 Fish with black bean sauce ($18) #804 Szechuwan shredded pork ($15) 3 bowls of rice ($1.75 each) Of the three dishes, we liked the seafood and fish the best. They were more savory than sweet, though they were still quite sweet. I didn't like the shredded pork at all as it was much sweeter than the other two. Portions for everything were generous and we took the remaining 1/3 of the food home for lunch the next day.

This spot has built a reputation as a great alternative to some of the larger dim sum chains, so we were excited to finally check it out. We arrived right when they opened, grabbed a cozy table by the kitchen, and immediately noticed how welcoming the staff was. Service was genuinely outstanding! Everyone was friendly, attentive, and the dishes came out at a relaxed pace without ever feeling rushed. Five stars for the hospitality alone. Of course, we ordered a little feast to share: Dan Dan Noodles - My friend's favorite dish of the meal! We ordered them without meat, and they were rich, creamy, and coated in a delicious peanut sauce. I liked them but next time I'd opt to get them with meat to give them a little more flavor. 3.5/5. Pork & Shrimp Soup Dumplings - Exactly what we were craving. Each dumpling was juicy with a generous amount of filling, and once dipped in the vinegar soy sauce with fresh ginger and a little chili oil... absolute perfection. 4.5/5. Pork Chop Fried Rice - My personal favorite. The pork chop was crispy, flavorful, and cooked beautifully, while the classic egg fried rice underneath was pure comfort food. Simple, satisfying, and something I'd happily order again. 5/5. If you're spending the day in the Valley or find yourself around Woodland Hills, Dan Modern Chinese is definitely worth adding to your list. This isn't a cheap hole in the wall spot, so you'll pay a little more but everything was tasty and a great portion size for 2-3 people sharing. I'd love to know what they use for the Beef Marinade because it was out of this world. A flavor explosion the likes of which I have never tasted. One bite and I started devouring the bowl and had to force myself to slow down and chew. I also tried their Pork bun which was delicious. I've had pork buns from other places and the bun has always ended up being too sweet and ruined the flavors for me, this was NOT the case. This Pork bun was in a word, Delectable. We decided on Oi Asian which had great reviews, so why not. First off, let me say that there is plenty of parking, however, the parks are extremely narrow for some reason. It was a struggle to get in and out of the car due to the width of the parks smh. Anyway, once we got inside, there wasn't anyway at the register and after standing there for a while, I noticed the kiosk so unplaced my order there. There were only two cooks in the back. We placed our order and sat down. The place was clean but everything seemed like it was do it yourself. The boys were thirsty and there wasn't an option for water on the kiosk, so I called one of the cooks from the back to pay for a water and he rang me up. It was pretty rough in there. At one point I had to get up and grab my own fork by reaching over the counter. Once our food was ready, one of the cooks brought our food and I wasn't really feeling my meal, which was the dynamite crawfish bowl. I didn't like the sauce it came with. I just picked at the crawfish and left the rest. As for the boys meal, the fried chicken adobo bowl was REALLY good! I ended up eating theirs because my oldest son didn't like it, which was great for me lol. My youngest and I tore that bowl up. Anyway, the verdict is, I may search around for other options but I know that if I can't find anything else I can always grab a chicken adobo bowl but the service was pretty nonexistent. That chicken adobo bowl saved it. OOO 3 out of 5
