Wonderful Sushi! My favorite is the Ikura! Their service is fast and friendly! They have two convenient locations!

The location is convenient for the valley and doesn't look like much from the outside. The interior is nice and the service was amazing. I couldn't ask for better service. The sushi came fairly fast and had a nice variety.

Dined here on a recent business trip to Juneau and was very pleased with my meal. I had the spicy tuna roll for an appetizer ($13.00) and the chicken Pho for my main course ($15.00). I thought the spicy tuna roll was done very well with what tasted like quality tuna and spicy but not overwhelming. The chicken pho was also very good with grilled chicken, and lots of savory vegetables. I also ordered their version of a "911 roll" ($25.00) that was described as Shrimp Tempura, Cucumber Inside, Tuna, Crabmeat on the outside with special spicy sauce. Well, the 911 roll was good (not great) but for $25.00 I thought it was definitely over priced! The decor was basic and reasonably clean with efficiently friendly service. I will return next time I'm in the area and would definitely get the chicken pho and spicy tuna roll again!

It was time for a revist and update. I'm pleased to say that I was not disappointed. Everything seemed to improve, and maybe that is partly due to the reduced menu. I'm missing the sashimi option, but there were other goodies to sample. Note 2024 web address with updated menu is https://www.asianagardenak.com/. Service was perfect and I appreciated the relaxing break even though it was unusually busy on a Sunday afternoon.

Getting Togo food during COVID can be hit or miss. This was a hit. Teriyaki chicken and beef was fresh and delicious. Garlic beef was also, with a nice kick of spice. Egg drop soup was hot and a great start to the meal. Packaged nicely for travel. Quick. But I have to say, the hand sanitizer, here, is yucky. This is not a reflection of the great meal. I only mention it in hopes that they will read this and nix the perfume style hand sanitizer. It did remind me of my grandma. A lovely woman, whom would load up on perfume like a 14 year old wears to much Axe body spray. Awesome chow. Bring your own sanitizer.

    The bug.

Got 3 meals for takeout. Came with 1 set of silverware. Just 1 portion of soup. Chicken dry and tasteless. Bug in rice. Staff always wants to seem like they're better than you and you're wasting their time.

I must eat for everyone who loves some good Asian food. My family absolutely loves the Mongolian beef!! The general tsao and sesame chicken wiz wonderful. The potstickers are a perfect pair to all the food. I have to go here every time I visit town.

Egg drop soup half way filled up terrible.

Decent food and fast. Lunch special was ready within 2 minutes. Styrofoam take-away containers are annoying but that's it.

The restaurant has amazing views to the wharf. We were able to see the seaplanes land and take off. We ordered the tempura halibut & chips $34.99 and BBQ Burger Dip $24.99. The menu offers a variety of food items: burgers, steaks, pastas, soups/salads, local seafood dishes and a list of favorite dishes (jambalaya, shrimp tacos, ginger ahi, halibut wraps and more). If you pay with cash the 3% convenience fee will be removed. The portions for the halibut and chips were large and it was enough for two people. I would recommend for the halibut to be more crispy but overall it had a good taste.

She then sat the very next party of 4 people without hesitation. This seemed very odd so when she came back to the host stand and greeted the next party we excused ourselves in front of the line and asked her if we'd be seated and she acted like we had never spoken to her. This was very strange but she sat us next to a window with a great view of the wharf where sea planes take off so we got to watch those while we ate. The server also took a long time to come to our table or even greet us to say he was busy and would be with us shortly, (it was about 10 minutes with us not even knowing if a waiter was assigned to our table). We shared the nachos and my wife ordered a Dr. Pepper which she said tasted so off that she wouldn't drink it. I tasted it and it tasted like cleaning solution wasn't properly rinsed out of the cup. She didn't want me to ask to send the drink back so we just didn't drink it. The nachos were pretty good though. They hit the spot since we were pretty hungry and they were worth the price, very easy to share between two people and leave full.

There's a massive parking lot with plenty of spots, a full-service pharmacy, and an on-site fuel center too. Since this chain is owned by the same one that runs Kroger and Smith's I was excited that I could earn rewards points with my purchase! The store has a big deli and bakery with fresh items, and has all sorts of local and national brands. The prices are on the high side (this is Alaska, after all), but they carry just about everything you could ever need or want. Walking into the store, I immediately noticed the clean, well-organized layout, making it easy to navigate through the different sections. The selection is impressive, offering a variety of styles and options, whether you're shopping for clothing, home essentials, or fresh vegetables and meats. One of the biggest conveniences is the ample parking space, so you never have to worry about finding a spot, even during peak hours. Inside, the store also features a pharmacy, appliances, electronics, and plenty of other interesting finds, making it a great place to explore if you're looking for everyday essentials or even a few unexpected deals. While the store itself was clean, well-maintained, and had great promotions, the customer service was unfortunately not up to par. What really stood out was my experience at self-checkout. I expected a quick and smooth process, but the cashier assisting at self-checkout seemed unprepared and overwhelmed. When I asked for help scanning the barcode for my loyalty discount on the app, she didn't seem to know how to find it. Instead of trying to figure it out or asking another employee for assistance, she appeared stressed, nervous, and ultimately didn't make an effort to resolve the issue. She also seemed distracted and wasn't fully listening to my questions, which was quite disappointing. A little more attentiveness and willingness to help would have made a huge difference in the overall experience. Sign Up for Membership. Despite the customer service hiccup, the store does offer great promotions and discounts, but to take advantage of them, you should sign up for the free membership. It's fast and easy to do online by simply downloading the store's app. This will give you access to special deals, reward points, and additional savings at checkout. This store has a lot of potential, with its wide selection, fresh produce, and clean, organized layout. However, they could improve their customer service training, especially at self-checkout, to ensure a smoother experience for shoppers. Would I come back? Yes, for the convenience and selection. But I'd be prepared to navigate checkout on my own if needed.
