This is the vegetable curry, they insisted was not soup. Which you can clearly see is soup filled up with onions and mushroom.

Today was horrible. We spent $80 and left hungry. We ordered curry and it came out as soup. When we commented to the kid server, he said that's how we make it. DONT ORDER THE CURRY! It was all onions and few mushrooms and a couple carrots. We ended up leaving it on the table. Another thing that happened, was we ordered avocado rolls and asked to add cream cheese. When they came they didn't have cream cheese, I commented that was fine, but the server insisted the chef remake it because he was going to eat the ones without cream cheese. WHAT!!! Very disappointed in Canton House! Please don't advertise a food item as curry when it's soup. We didn't even get an apology. Will not be going back.

I am on deployment in Juneau, Alaska. My co-worker took me to Canton Asian Bistro. We ordered appetizers, crab Rangoon, was banging, and potstickers were tasty. I love the crunchiness of both appetizers. We also ordered the Las Vegas sushi roll, which was like an explosion in my mouth. I notice they had Mongolian beef on their menu but I prefer it spicy, so I ordered 3 pepper spice levels for my dish. My co-worker ordered his favorite the green curry chicken, which is spicy. The service is quick and the food is delicious. I will definitely be returning to eat more of their sushi. Their sushi is very fresh and they have many different rolls to choose from. When you visit Juneau, Alaska is sure you check out Canton Asian Bistro. To all my yelpers, let us continue to eat our way through the world. #FOODIE4LIFE.

The 911 roll ($28.95) has two different tunas on top. Not that you can taste the bottom one with the spicy tuna on top.

I don't know why I bother, but every couple of years I try it again as I tell myself it can't be that bad. Every time I swear never again. From the questionable food to the poor service. NEVER AGAIN!

The sushi is super yummy. The food had a pretty presentation and the restaurant provided fast service. I would comment their only real downside is the prices being high.

Pulled up to this odd shaped building, looked like a dental office if you know what I mean. I wasn't expecting much but let me tell you, the inside was immaculate. So clean and beautifully decorated. I ordered the sushi and was not disappointed. I even requested a roll that wasn't on the menu and our amazing waitress Alice made magic happen. It was like a sunshine roll and they did it just how I explained . I also ordered the Las Vegas & Play Boy Roll... mmmmm it was all amazing. My boyfriend and I were in heaven. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in town. Thanks Canton Staff and especially Alice

Canton House was one of the first restaurants we tried out when we moved to Juneau, and we have had great experiences every time we return. Something that I can't say for all of the restaurants in Juneau, sadly. It was on the list of places we had to take my Dad while he was in town, and it was Dave's choice for his birthday dinner this month. I love that they give you a tea kettle full of steaming hot green tea to enjoy while you wait for your food. Their sushi is incredible, but then again you can't really go wrong with ordering sushi in Alaska...I mean, the fish was just caught down the street! I love their kung pow shrimp and always say I'm going to try something new, but who am I kidding? Dave has loved all the chicken entries he's tried, and the lo mien is great, but don't order it if you like the typical thick noodles. We also enjoy the crab rangoons, if we feel like reeeeeeally splurging. ;)

From Reno, NV and we have a lot of Cantonese and Asian places. I would say this place is spot on. We had a party of 16 and they brought out food quickly and it was hot!! Favorites Fried rice - pick one. It has a nice smokey flavor from being stir fried. Chicken UDON - plentiful and tasty Pot stickers we liked by the group but were fried. Prefer steamed. Overall a nice find and short walk from the Travelodge.

My grandson totally approves of the sushi!

This used to be fantastic. The flavor has declined to nearly bland and the prices are on the high end.

The line moved quick and we were able to get a seat inside. We went with the red and golden crab to see what the difference was besides the price! The red crab was definitely better in terms of taste. The price is ridiculous as the red crab was $90 for a leg and the golden crab was $65 per leg. Since we were here, we had to eat it though. We also got a cup of the crab bisque. It was good and what made it better was putting more crab into it! The bread was realistically just a Hawaiian roll with a little garlic butter. There wasn't enough garlic taste for our liking. We told our friend to make a little crab sandwich with her roll.

The day I arrived, it was a rainy day, but the line to Tracy's Kong Crab Shack was long. However, the line moved quickly, and our group was able to find a seat. We ordered the extra-large bunker with some crab cakes. Wow, the taste was amazing. The crab legs were huge with lots of meat, and the crab cake was delicious. When we received our order, we were missing some claws, and the server was very accommodating in following up to make it right. The place was packed, and there was only one restroom, which made it hard to use if you were in a hurry.

It was so fresh. The sidewinder fries were awesome! The Drive Through burger was delicious and the fries were also yummy. While this isn't my favorite (try Sandbar), the fish is fresh and it's pretty hard to complain. Another win for fish and chips in the area. The shape of the potatoes is a bit weird looking, but surprisingly it works and they were nice and crispy. I did think the fish batter was a tad doughy on the inside, and yet a little overcooked on the outside. Not the end of the world though, and I still enjoyed it. We did stop by during the week for lunch and the truck was closed, which was a bit annoying. One of the brewery employees said this place doesn't always open reliably, for various reasons. Just something to be aware of. Better luck on the weekends. Overall it's a nice spot right next to the Alaskan Brewing Company, which has lots of great beers and a nice patio spot out back to eat your fish, have a beer, and hang out with your dog. Yum!

I was lucky enough to have Alaskan king crab legs last year when I traveled Alaska by land so that was not on my must eat this year. King salmon that I fell in love with last year was though, so when I saw Twisted Fish had it and some of their fishes were accompanied by local rhubarb and blueberry chutney, I was sold as I am all about eating local. Unfortunately, grilling the king salmon dried it out so it did not have that beautiful buttery texture that makes King salmon special. Sadly I felt the king salmon I roasted at home was closer to what I had in Anchorage last year than this one. Even though the twisted fish plate only had Taku Salmon, I found the halibut in that one was much better and wish I went with a full order of halibut instead, especially since that came with the local rhubarb and blueberry chutney.
