I had delivery from this restaurant from Ridgerunner tonight. This was the worst "Asian" meal I've ever had. I'm not a food snob at all, and my expectations aren't crazy when dining on certain kinds of foods in this area, but I was really craving it tonight. The chicken pad Thai was not awful, but I could make it and have it turn out better. Not even remotely authentic or flavorful. The spring rolls were ok. But the sushi was inedible. I got a tuna roll and a spider roll, and literally threw them out. There was no soy sauce included in the order, no napkins, no plastic utensils, and virtually no wasabi with the sushi. I will avoid this place going forward....it's not hard to make food that is passable, even if it's not authentic. read more

A very very bad experience. My friend ordered vegetables chow men, which, turned out to be the yellow thing in the bowl in the picture. I'm Chinese and in nowhere I have seen such thing called "chow mein". Me and my friends were unsatisfied and wanted to ask the manager about this. But the waiter was rude, like "this is chow mein just a different name do you understand?" And he refused to call the manager for us. Ridiculous. Well, it was as expected. This is in fact Chinese in north Georgia. Steer clear of the phad Thai, and any tofu options. Also don't order the tempura. The Chinese food wasn't horrible, but not great. I don't usually write bad reviews, but I have to do this. The food was wretched and the service was subpar. After our GPS took us to a non-existant Italian restaurant and our next two choices were already closed, we settled for Asiano, the next place we saw open at 8:30 on a Sunday night. We had been driving all day to get to a conference at the Brasstown Resort and were really hungry and tired. We walked in this place and I immediately wanted to walk back out, which is rare for me. But the Japanese hibachi grill was smoking up the whole place with really gross smoke. I've been in Japanese places before (we love sushi and most places have both the grill and the bar) and I know what the smoke SHOULD smell like; this was like, a dirty grill that wasn't ventilated properly. Like I said, I wanted to leave, but my husband wanted to give it a chance. We sat down, and it took a few minutes before we were acknowledged, given menus and had our drink orders taken. Now, that wouldn't be a problem if the place was busy. But there was one other couple in there besides the group at the hibachi table. The waitress was leisurely chatting with them and did not pay attention to us. Another waitress came out of the back out of a while and tended to us while the first waitress chatted on obliviously. Even though we love sushi, I had a bad feeling about ordering raw fish in the Georgia mountains, especially in a place this dubious. So we stuck to the Thai menu. They have a huge menu, which from watching episodes of Kitchen Nightmares is always a no-no. It's just impossible to keep that much stock and manage that many different dishes - it's too hard on the cooks. Anyway, I ordered shrimp Pad Thai and my husband ordered shrimp Green Curry. I was served something more similar to the Japanese dish of Chow Mei Fun, or rice noodles with soysauce and and egg pancake with mixed Chinese vegetables. It was nothing like any Pad Thai I'd ever had. Still, I was very hungry and I ate it anyway. It was tolerable. The shrimp on it, however, was not. It was overcooked and tasted like it was on the edge of turning. My husband's Green Curry was watery. It was like they opened a can of coconut milk, whisked some green curry paste into it, and dumped a can of Chinese vegetables in that and served it. Oh, and added some of the same wretched shrimp that I got. We were so tired and hungry that we just ate what we could, paid and left. We didn't feel like dealing with it. Oh, and my husband tried to order a glass of wine when we got there. We were told, "No, not on Sunday. But you can order beer." ??? We are from southeast Georgia which presumably has the same laws. You cannot order just drinks on Sunday, but you can order drinks with a meal. I have never heard of being able to order beer but not wine. Again, my husband was just so tired that he didn't argue, just had water instead. Bottom line - this place is no good. Read between the lines: this place is Asia NO. read more

Asia-NO! Just don't go here, it has a crusty atmosphere, staff don't seem to want you there, and the food was dry. I thought that based on the decent modern styled building, the look of the website, and the fact that it has a decent logo that this place would be pretty decent. NOPE! you walk in to this very dark dining room and are meet by a nice hostess/front counter person but after that everything was lame. There's a crusty 55gallon fish tank with turtles swimming in it and I'm pretty sure its torture for them as they had no place to get out of the water and they had definetly overgrown the tank. Yeah I'm sure they changed out that water every week to take care of those poor turtles. Remember Asia-NO! I had my little guy with us and asked for a high chair to a staff person and she just kinda looked at me like i was an idiot and kept walking away. She never once even showed me where they were located. I had to find it tucked behind in their 'japanese' dining area room. Remember Asia-NO! I thought that they would have a sushi buffet as their sign and menu states but all I saw was a mongolian grill thing tucked in the corner that I didn't trust with all the raw meat in there. Yeah I know it's supposed to have raw meat, but from the looks of it I wasn't going to trust my health with their obvious lack of sanitary levels. The cook was sitting next to the grill playing on his iphone while a customers order cooked. Not the best way to show good hygiene or kitchen cleanliness. Honestly who cleans their phone? So yeah he's not even watching the food and just keeps playing with his phone - gross, unprofessional, and simply lazy. I've been to hole in the wall restaurants that put on a show with this feature, but not here. Remember Asia-NO! So we ordered from the most confusing menu on the planet that had chinese, thai, and japanese stuff but some categories were listed twice on different pages???? really?! I can't stand bad graphic design. The food came and it was dry and really I only ate it because I was hungry. I added way to much soy to make it palatable and just took it on the chin. I stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Hiawassee 1 night about every 3 to 4 weeks. I had been driving close to 200 miles yesterday and after calling on customers I was tired. I called This restaurant and ask if they delivered as I didn't feel like going out to eat. They told me they did so I ordered the Sweet and Spicy Chicken with egg rolls and soup as a side. A beautiful you lady knocked on my door in about 35 min with my food. It was delicious and the serving size was unbelievable. I ate until I could take it any longer, the lady at the front desk at and we still had food left over. The food was fantastic and I will be calling delivery from there in three weeks. My husband and I ate here 2 years ago. I loved it then. I don't know what happened. The soup with green onions and mushrooms was delicious. The tea was delicious. We ordered 2 different kinds of sushi. It was not brought to our table until our meals had arrived. Honestly, I get better at Ingles Supermarket Deli. I ordered beef with snow peas and fried rice. It comes with an egg roll and fried wonton. The egg roll looked great on the outside but the inside was undercooked, doughy, and not good at all. The rice was terrible and there was an underlying canned brown gravy taste to the beef. This is the first time I've ever not gotten a doggie bag for my left-overs when leaving a restaurant! I told the server what I thought. He apologized profusely. I told him it wasn't his fault. Then a manager came and asked. I told him the same. I didn't ask for a discount but maybe if they had reduced our bill because of how awful it was, I would consider giving them another chance. They did not! We will not be eating there again read more

Came to blairsville for my boyfriends birthday and it was the closest sushi since the sushi shack was closed.... no regrets. Service was really nice and in the room next to us with the hibachi, the chefs were super nice and fun to some kiddos. Ordered the Koo sushi and it was super delicious. Shrimp fried rice was amazing and the shrimp tasted super fresh, filet mignon was delicious and the mushrooms and steak were so juicy and had lots of flavor. 10/10 would come again. Go to The Happy Hog for delicious smoked bbq meats! Asiano was our first eating experience in the area during our trip. The service was great. However...The dumplings were fried to a crisp, & the egg rolls were burned on the outside but cold on the inside. We ordered from their sushi menu. Though this isn't an area known for sushi, we figured it'd be good. I've had better from a local super market. The sesame chicken was good though. The staff was extremely attentive and brought us anything we asked for in double time. Once we finished dinner, they set us up in a private room so we continue our party. As far as Chinese goes, this place was ok. It's what you would expect from a somewhat remote town. I had sesame chicken and my wife had general tso chicken. The rice came in a separate bowl that we shared. Had I know the portions were so large, we definitely could have shared. I can't speak to the Thai or Japanese menu, but the Chinese was worth eating if that's what you're craving. read more

Tried this for the first time tonight. I can't believe I haven't been in before! The spring roll was great. Fresh & light. Crispy on the outside and the sauce was sweet but not too thick or heavy. The green curry was full of great vegetables like baby corn, carrots, watercress, bamboo, zucchini that didn't taste long over cooked but fresh and healthy. The coconut milk, curry and spices were fragrant and delicious. I thought it was a little spicy but still quite good especially when coupled with the fried rice. That wasn't as good as everything else but it wasn't bad or too oily. I would have liked to see more than green peas in the fried rice but overall everything was so much more impressive than I expected. Even the service was fantastic. Plus they have 3 hibachi tables I think we will have to try next time. We will definitely be back. This is well worth trying. read more

I've had better from the frozen section in the grocery. I dined here 3 years,ago and swore I'd never come back. A serious lack of judgment made me change my mind. I'm spoiled, I come from a big city with a ton of really terrific Chinese/Asian/Japanese food. So I'm always hopeful when I'm traveling and I discover a Chinese restaurant nearby, especially one that will deliver! Food was decent, but not great. Good ingredients, well prepared, but the flavor was flat and dull. And, my pet peeve, everything delivered in foam containers, so they loose a star for having selected such an environmentally horrible container to deliver my food in. I mean, I get that it keeps the food hot, but sheesh, when you look at the waste created when you make foam, and that it essentially lasts forever, one of my biggest legacies over time will be the foam containers that I used just once here tonight...and threw away. read more

I visited this establishment an was impressed with the friendly customer service as well as the enthusiasm expressed by employees. Being a restaurant/bar owner myself, I can relate to food portions as it relates directly to your P&L. During my visit, I ordered the lobster and steak at the hibachi area of the establishment at $30 a plate. Expecting a larger portion of food given the price I was to pay, I was very disappointed to see my meal wasn't even HALF the size of what you would expect. Firstly, my "double" rice order was just enough to maybe fill a normal size tea cup an then my vegetables order equaled about the same. Secondly, the fillet which equaled 8oz and a half on the grill, had been cut in half leaving each guest with only with 4oz of meat per meal. Lastly the "Lobster" (doesn't say lobster tail portion) was merely a tiny tail leaving me with literally 4 sized quarter sized bites. Summary Pros-great food, great friendly service Cons-tiny portions, high priced, and you will be hungry when u leave still. read more

My wife and I love this place , the owner and his family always make us feel welcome and the staff is friendly. We are hooked on the Thai curry (red) with chicken or tofu , Gen. chicken and the sushi. We have to eat there at least every week. If we are feeling under the weather , their Hot and sour soup, it is like magic health food. We have yet to try their Mongolian Grill or the Hibachi. As we leave in our car all we can say is WOW was that great. NEVER had an upset gut or butt ever. read more

In spite of having a reservation they didn't prepare enough seats and sat us with strangers not part of our group. They got up and left. Orders were taken that took forever and when the food came out many were wrong. The entire experience was terrible. They added a gratuity for the worst service I've experienced in s long time.
