The bartender should have been able to smell it when they opened sit because we noticed it the second the server put the bottle on the table. We had to wait for the server to come back before he could ask for a replacement. The Beef Wellington was amazing and I can see why it is his signature dish. It was so tender you could almost cut it with a fork. We also made a patio reservation but upon arrival we were told that the patio wasn't open. read more

Very disappointed in this experience. On a short vacation before surgery. And had this on the bucket list for a while. Love Gordon Ramsay. However this was truly a big let down. Our server seemed to be in outer space. Brittney. She suggested a mocktail that was " sweet". We both tried it and it made my jaws hurt it was so sour. Asked first if raspberries could be left out as she said they were freshly muddled , because I didn't want the seeds. She said no. Than I asked why and she said because it's all premade. Ok so not freshly muddled and accurate. Asked her if she ever had it and at first she said yes a longtime ago, then fumbled again saying how she didn't know but everyone commented it's sweet...She fumbled a few times. Somehow got our order mixed up . Twice . The rolls had a great taste but were raw . Due to my health issues I can't eat a lot. We asked to add on a lobster tail to our steak dinner. And a side of mashed potatoes "puréed ". She was very rude in her mannerisms telling us it's not allowed. So I said I'll just take the crab cake instead then. Well out comes both/so they wasted a lobster tail or she ate it , who knows. The steak was undercooked, MW was ordered. It was very blue . MR at best. It was mostly grizzle and not much flavor, The other waiter described the terrace and how the other table was invited to go out and enjoy the view. Never mentioned to us: kind of odd and wondered if it was due to having tattoos.. even tho the bartender was not strait laced. The busser was very friendly and polite young man w a ponytail. Sent the crab cake back, flavorless tried two bites. Unfortunately we didn't bother trying desserts. I would highly suggest going somewhere else before wasting your time here . Very disappointing. This was our second visit to Ramsay's. Our first experience was excellent, which made us excited to return. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. The service was poor from start to finish. My husband never received a refill on his soda, and my request for lemons was forgotten. Based on our server's recommendation, I ordered the chicken entrée, but it was bland, chewy, and lacked flavor. My husband ordered the fish and chips, and honestly, we've had better from Captain D's. The wedge salad was the one bright spot of the meal and was very enjoyable. To top it off, our server seemed overwhelmed and brought us the wrong check. Considering the price of the meal and the overall experience, we left disappointed. Sadly, after this visit, we are questioning whether we will return. read more

Wonderful dinner and evening at Ramsey's kitchen. The gals working at the front desk were snobby and ignored us. The place was practically empty, and they tried to seat us at a terrible table. We asked her instead for one of the EIGHT open window tables, and Cordellia sighed and ordered us to go back to the front desk to ask the other snobby girl who was standing there busy ignoring other customers. Once we were seated, we had a delectable meal. We received impeccable service by Stephen. Appetizer, soup, salad, all were delicious. Presentation was perfect. They just need to replace the two rude girls running the front. They were so condescending, it was insulting and truly unnecessary. We shall return as the food was superb. But we hope their management will find more professional front desk staff. read more

Was a bit skeptical of this location being in a casino but they were firing on all cylinders during my visit. Service was fantastic and prompt! Caeser salad was a bit unconventional but extremely good. I was overly impressed with this salad to say the least Wellington was constructed perfectly and beautifully plated. Located on the 10th floor of the Harrah's Casino, this place has the views and the vibes. Very fancy pants kinda place but can come in being yourself and with leaving this pants on the hanger. Everything is very new and nicely decorated. There's a seated area, a private dining space for larger parties, a large bar, and an outdoor patio to soak in the views. Typical Ramsay menu as in other locations in a casino. Prices are pretty high. Quality is good though. We only had drinks at the bar. The cocktail menu here was more limited than on other franchises. Ordered some sort of dark martini thingy and a Sidecar. Unfortunately, sidecar was served with ice and in a tumbler. Boo. Ordered a second round and had to ask for it without ice. The bartender then asked if the same type of glass was good or if I wanted it in a martini glass. Took it in same glass to make it easier. A dirty martini with blue cheese olives was also in the second round and it was delicious!!! The olives make it the best. Drinks were typical pricing as you would get in a bar ($100 for 4 crafted cocktails including tip). read more

June 22, 2025 - 4 for dinner Went for a nice dinner with my wife's brother and his wife we drove 11 hours up from FL the day before. Not going to drone on other than to say that after the view there is nothing remarkable or inviting that my BIL who has lived in Murphy for years would come back here. The service is a bit sluggish, water glasses dry, waiting for next drinks, food came out sporadically. We really did not order full entree because I was absolutely stunned by the prices? You would think your were on the beach in Aruba or dining at the harbor in Monaco or at Per Ce in NYC/Manhattan??? The $69 (okay for me to round to seventy bucks??) Beef Wellington appeared to be about a pool ball size of meat. $50 scallops?? $25 burger?? I got a salad, my wife got the burger. It was basically a bar food experience. We had a "lunch" and a few drinks and it was almost $200 all in for the four of us? read more

Came for the vibes and the beef Wellington, and enjoyed that and everything else! Brittany was a fantastic server. All phases of our meal were perfect with her. The tuna tartare, short rib, and apple pie deserve honorable mentions. First time here. I thought the food would be better given the name. My friends had the steak which they liked but you can get a good steak lots of places. The tuna tartare appetizer was the best thing we had. I had the salmon. Boring and nothing special at all. On plain rice with some very strange tasting carrots on top. That's it Gordon?? The most disappointing thing was the dessert. Supposed to be his mother's recipe. A British "pudding" (cake) sitting in toffee sauce with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The cake was tasteless and the toffee was grainy and overly sweet like it was not cooked through. Disliked by the whole table. The service did not match the price or reputation. The best thing about the restaurant is the amazing Mountain View through a bank of windows. Take a chance if you want. We probably won't be back. 2 stars for food, 5 for the view. read more

Tired of the negative reviews. This area just rates places bad if it's not a locally owned business and it's not fast food prices. My wife and I have been to Ramsay's Kitchen several times now. Each time the service has been excellent. Food is great, drinks are awesome, staff and management are friendly and attentive and recognize us as returning customers each time we come. The restaurant is nice and inviting and has great views of the Nantahala National Forest. I recommend the Beef Wellington and Pork Chop, my wife recommends the fish and chips and the wedge salad. The deserts are delicious! This is our new favorite spot in town. Yes it can be expensive and may not be for everyone, but if you are looking for a more upscale place with great food, drinks, friendly staff, and beautiful views then this is a great place to check out! read more

Well this Ramsays restaurant was somewhat of a disappointment. We were in Gordon Ramsays in Vegas and it was phenomenal, this location was a disappointment. I made reservations several days ago for my husband and I to have dinner and celebrate our anniversary. When we arrived we were seated quickly however where they seated us felt like we were in a club just to have drinks, very awkward seating, when asked to be moved the waitress told us due to a number of large parties, all they had was a high top, when she saw our reaction she got the manager who basically reiterated the seating choice. We were essentially seated in a bar area, where they have large TV's hung up, so not at all expected. After a rough start the food was good. Recommend the crab cake, Caesar salad, scallops, 14 oz NY strip, potato puree a little odd, very runny, broccolini okay (we shared). Our waitress Desiree was very good, she worked very hard all evening and had a great personality and great customer service. The manager, didn't catch her name, was quite the opposite, not very pleasant at all, lacking customer service skills! Not convinced it is worth the money, this is a one and done for us. read more

I really don't get some of these negative reviews. Ramsay's Kitchen was awesome! We had the greatest server ever, Kailyn. The food was great. We had the tuna tartare, beef wellington, and my granddaughter had the hellfire chicken sandwich, which she loved. The service was great. We went midweek around 7 pm and it wasn't crowded at all. We got a table next to the window, pretty cool being up there on the 10th floor. And of course the menu is a bit pricey, it's freaking Gordon Ramsay! But we had a great experience and plan to go back again. read more

Went over to the kitchen because they don't have a phone, upon arrival when I ask if I can order food to go I'm told no, okay that's fine may I sit at the bar order food and put it in to go boxes? Was also told no. We have a son with autism and another young child so it's much easier to eat in our room than deal with the stares from the kids fussing. Gordon Ramsey needs to stop doing under cover restaurant bust and look into his own restaurant. Manager must be eating too many idiot sandwiches he's becoming one. Appears to be a new restaurant and the ambiance is nice with Mountain View's but we will probably just support local upscale dining facilities in the future. read more

Very beautiful setting on the 10th floor of the Harrah's casino overlooking the mountains. The Parker House Rolls appetizer was delicious. I had the beef Wellington which was cooked perfectly and would highly recommend. Lots of options on the menu for everyone. Our server was wonderful and attentive. Visited casino which has been renovated and they've added Ramsey's Kitchen. Nice place with great views of hilltop green space. Had shrimp cocktail, scallops and crispy skin salmon. Shrimp was overcooked, scallops with risotto was tasteless needed seasoning, but the salmon was very tasty. Had a trainee server... no comment. It looked like other servers were very well versed on the menu and had excellent customer service. read more

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner last night with friends at Ramsey's Kitchen. Our server Desiree was fantastic and continually went above and beyond to make our dinner special and fun. The food was delicious. The filet was the best I've ever had. Side dishes of macaroni and cheese and Brussels sprouts were divine. Every one in our party felt their dinner was exceptionally good. We enjoyed a nice early dinner. Great atmosphere and view. Excellent service and menu choices. My wife raved about the scallops and risotto, while I thoroughly enjoyed the Fish and chips. A thick fillet of Atlantic haddock with their truffle parmesan fries and aioli sauce. Large portions, well executed, and highly recommended. The only negative issue was with their Apple pie/ Butterscotch Ice Cream desert. A beautiful presentation and the ice cream was great, but there was a tainted oil taste on the pie crust. Almost like rancid oil? Not sure what went wrong there. Over-all it was still and excellent experience. read more

I'm sure that Mr Ramsay has never been to this restaurant. The food quality was nowhere near as high as the pricing. The presentation was similar to a bowling alley. I ate a $28 lobster roll off a sheet of wax paper with a side of french fries. The menu is missing Nacho Chips with pumped cheese and chili to complete the effect. We were expecting a large bill but the product does not deliver. We paid for the view. read more

One of the most beautiful views of any restaurant in the world probably. From the 10th floor you have a front-row seat of the beautiful Unicoi mountains. They have a good selection of wines, whiskey, beer and cocktails. The fresh baked bread rolls (should really be complimentary) were spectacular. The crab cake was delicious and filled with crab meat. The Beef Wellington was expertly prepared and almost indistinguishable from Gordon Ramsey's London restaurant at the Savoy. Overall a great experience. read more
