I've been struggling for years with allergies and been to many allergy doctors. They've done tests and told me I have allergies but nobody gave me a game plan to deal with my struggling symptoms. Expensive. Was charged for services not rendered. Staff is slow to respond to calls and emails if at all. Was misdiagnosed. PA Sharon not knowledgeable AT ALL. Details. After being misdiagnosed twice, by Rafi and another doctor, I finally found out I have fibromyalgia. The two of them wasted 1 1/2 years of my life all the while dealing with chronic pain. Rafi diagnosed me with chronic variable immune deficiency disorder. I had to have an intravenous line put in my arm and receive medication I did not need. When I found a new immunologist who reviewed my records from both before I saw him and after and retesting me doctor confirmed I never had it. The other immunologist diagnosed me with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. That's another story for another time. I was charged for visits and services that I never received. I sent a detailed spreadsheet with dates, medical codes asking for explanations which to this day I have never received. During my telemed visits with Sharon I could always tell she was not prepared for our call even though I always sent detailed notes and questions prior to our conversation. 99% of the information and assistance I received was from the pharmacy who provided my supplies and nursing services. The pharmacy was also the one who gave me my diagnosis because the doctor never told me. I was quite shocked when I received the call from the pharmacy to begin services when I had no idea what was going on. Of course he insisted that they told me and I must have misunderstood. I heard that quite often when I questioned them about many things. As if all of this isn't bad enough, when I would have telemed visit with them and question them about answers, I was always made to feel as if I were the one who didn't know what was going on. While I can't say for sure, I believe that if I had not been misdiagnosed by two doctors my fibromyalgia may not have become as bad as it is. My experience with this office and their staff has been a nightmare which I continue to live with to this day. If you decide to seek services from this person, tread lightly, take lots of notes and always ask for detailed progress notes for each and every encounter. read more

It turns out after 2 years of treatment with Dr. Rafi, that I didn't have any allergies at all. He did not even do blood tests on me when I ended up being allergic to over 30 foods and allergic to everything in the environment. He also took me off of all antihistamines. It turned out through blood tests, that I have NO allergies whatsoever!!!! He did not know how to help me. His office has not sent my medical records to my new allergist, even though I went in and signed for a copy of my records to be sent. I would avoid this office. (Note.... I do not recommend visiting this provider. After receiving a bill which I had questions on, it appeared that the insurance was charged for services that were not rendered for my son. When I called our health insurance, the representative wanted to question why I was billed for 5 services, when they (the insurance) only received services for 4 things. Out of those 4 services, something else was charged that per the manager "was not done." After having our insurance provider on the phone with their office manager Kelly, the representative and I were appalled at her attitude over the phone. Dr Rafi is a great allergist. He cares a great deal about his patients and is always going the extra mile for me. He has been instumental in working though helath issues and is an expert in Common Variable Immune Deficiency. The other doctors in the practice all are great, From Dr Katz to Dr Doh, I've been treated by them all and you would have difficulty finding a bettter group of doctors totake on allergies, asthma, and or CVID's. They as a rule do not want to take on 'simple' allergy cases that are treateable and contollable by a GP prescribing some basic treatemtn. Tehy preferr to work on difficult cases that take time, and have not had sucess in the past. read more

I have been coming to this office for years now and recommended it to several friends and co-workers. Recently they have enacted all these fees, for things that really in my opinion should just be standard like a letter, a form for school /work, or prescriptions that require doctor approval or pharmacy forms. They have also started running way behind their appointments. The last two times it was 30 minutes past my appointment before I even got called in. This is especially frustrating when you have to feed a meter for 1.5 to 2 hours, it should never take that long for a routine appointment. I would give them a 3 star, but I love my doctor and the nursing staff is great. Bottom line, if you have a strict schedule then you might want to try someone else. read more

Dr. Rafi has gone out of his way to provide excellent care for me as well as my mom. My mom had a severe allergic reaction for which we called Dr. Rafi's office. Despite a fully booked schedule, he accepted to see her immediately and spent hours making sure she was treated appropriately and recovering prior to her leaving his office. He is extremely knowledgeable in addition to being kind and considerate. My mom has done very well since and we are very grateful to him for that. I had been to another allergist in the past myself and informed Dr. Rafi in passing of some of the info I was told by the other doctor. He questioned the previous allergist and performed some tests on me and sure enough, Dr. Rafi was right about what he had thought based on my history alone. I was very impressed... not to mention very grateful to now have the correct diagnosis and make the appropriate changes in my life. It is difficult to find the right doctor these days... Most lack in one thing or another - be it expertise or bedside manners etc... That's not the case with Dr. Rafi. I would highly recommend him if you need to see an allergist. Dr Rafi is overall a nice person. I agree that he's a good diagnostician. There are some problems though. He required that I take a antihistamine before each allergy shot. Having moved to a new allergist, I've found out that this practice is not studied well and may undermine the allergy shots and unnecessarily keep the shots from taking effect. After 1.5 years(!) of no progress, went to a new allergist and within a few months of (no antihistamine) shots... shots are finally working. Finally, if I could, I'd give his receptionist and him one star for administration. Without going into the unpleasant details, despite being a loyal client for 1.5 years, they practically threw me out of their office for coming -on time- to the end of a allergy shot period because the Dr needed to leave a little early that day. Also, their allergy shot hours are very limited (not one day of the week is there a later after 5 time- think of the number of people who can't come in). read more

The worst billing ever. They sent a bill without explanation and when I called, they didn't return my call for two days and when they did they were completely rude. I felt as if the only thing left for the lady to do was call me stupid. In addition, i just received an email from their billing department subject line "Documents" with a statement saying they will remove money from my credit card account. For a year straight I had a sinus infection or strep throat once a month. It was insanely awful and no doctor could figure out how to make it stop. A friend recommended Dr. Rafi to me and I am so thankful I went to him. He did not stop until he figured out that I had an antibody deficiency for some common bacteria strains. Some quick immunisations later, I was back on my feet again and feeling better than ever!
