Food & drinks - they have a pretty good stout. I don't really drink beer (why am I always at breweries, prob because they allow dogs). But stout is the one kind of beer I actually don't mind. I have never had organic beer but really enjoyed it, and this is a really cool place in Fremont. It's connected by a service window to Local Tide and you can order food from there from Aslan, but it is a limited menu. Considering there is always a long line outside of Local Tide, and if you are fine with the limited food menu, seems worth it to grab a spot and have some beer. Murals on the wall are really cool too, overall a great vibe. read more

A gem of a brewery. In the super fun Fremont district/neighborhood. Quirked vibes and loads of seating. On a rainy Saturday this place was popping!!! The service is super friendly too. There are two sides for service at the bar. Everyone goes to the first one but there are two. Televisions for sports viewing too. You can bring outside food in but I brought a Sammie from a an earlier Yelp event. Of course! The hazy dawn patrol is a must have for hazy lovers. Mild flavor and easy drinking. Basically there's a lot of breweries in the Fremont area. It certainly is full of hipsters. Aslan has a few locations including this one and couple in Bellingham. Has kind of higher prices but it's all organic. This shares a building with Local Tide, so you can order food and have it brought over from there. A unique brewery. It's all organic. They have a pretty good variety. A lot more than just IPAs. It's about $8 a pint. That's kind of a lot, but this isn't typical beer though. Best one of these we had was the Ginger Rye, a spiced ale. It's also made with lime. This has biscuity and bready flavors with notes of pine. Has no food of their own, but you can get stuff from the restaurant next to it. Local Tide is even connected through a window. Has mostly seafood. The menu is pretty limited beyond that. It's about $4 for the House Chips. These share the same bathrooms along with a few other businesses that are inside. Cool smaller brewery with a pretty good choice of all organic beers. It's closed Mondays. They have no food on their side, but the restaurant next to it has stuff. read more

Great food! We were seated outside and were promptly told that a 20% gratuity would be added to our tab for our large group and that the bill can't be split. We ordered: Smash burger with poutin: 5/5 super tasty! Poutin was even better than the ones we had in Vancouver! The sauce wasn't overly salty. Smash burger bacon with poutin: our friend really liked his burger too. Flights: they liked their beers Southwest salad bowl with grilled chicken: 4/5 good refreshing salad, chicken was a bit on the dry side. Kids grilled cheese with sweet potato fries: my kid liked it. Chicken rice bowl with fries: my other kid said the rice tasted weird but ate the chicken and fries. Ps they don't serve waffle fries anymore. Instead they will sub with curly fries. I've been to the main Aslan location in Bellingham and really enjoyed it from several years ago. I was super excited when I saw Aslan gained a location in Seattle! This location is considerably smaller than the taproom in Bellingham but the same quality of beer that I enjoyed farther north still carries over to this location nicely. As it should. I got one beer from Aslan at this location while out and about in Seattle on a recent trip. I got their fabulous Coastal Pils. I love pilsners and this one definitely held up to my standards. Great amber color, great tasting pils! I will definitely be back but like most of Seattle parking isn't easy or close so be prepared for a bit of exercise to reach the place. Stopped by Aslan brewing today to exchange a shirt my wife got me. Decided to grab a pint while I was here. I went with the Melopepo, it's a solid west coast ipa. For a Wednesday afternoon almost every table is full and it's a fun place to be. Last time I was here was when a friend rented out the space for her 30th birthday. Being from Bham, I was more than excited to watch the new Aslan Brewing tasting room being constructed in Fremont over the last several months. As far as I know, this is the first time one of our amazing local breweries has branched out into the big city, and what better brewery to represent the Ham than epic, amazing Aslan. With their commitment to organic brewing, a strong sense of community, and just being all around good people I knew they'd fit in well to this eclectic, beer-centric North Seattle neighborhood. We arrived on a Friday evening, just a day or two after they'd officially opened, and there was a line out the door and standing room only both inside and on their small outdoor drinking patio. The line moved fast, and soon enough we were enjoying a couple of pints of the immortal Bellingham Brown. Spoiler alert: yours truly actually won a years-ago Facebook contest to name this beer! No, not the most original name ever, but still pretty cool to see it on their taplist all the way down in Seattle. The brown is a malty, rich, not-too-heavy ale that's one of my favorites at Aslan. The taproom is small, and if you've been to the enormous Aslan mother ship in Bellingham it might actually seem a little tiny. But it retains the Aslan character with locally-produced art on the walls and a friendly, down-to-earth vibe. The food options are limited (hello, though, Salumi sandwiches and meat plates!) - and I also noticed a few people bringing in tacos from a nearby food truck. Congrats Aslan on bringing your delicious beer to Fremont. I'll definitely be back! read more

I walked right by this place without noticing it, on my way to the Fremont Market Place Under the Bridge, coworkers had told to watch for the Aslan brewery, now in Fremont. While checking though Yelp for places in the area, there it was, duh!! So busy looking around after parking I totally missed it! Glad for the catch as I walked back to where I parked, which btw can be challenging in the popular area. Just gotta be patient, definitely worth the search for parking. Organic brewing? Yes, they exist, becoming more popular. My first foray into organic brewing was Thirsty Bear brewing in San Francisco, good beer, not a lot of choices, though. As you can see from the pics, Aslan has a lot of great choices, darks, IPAs, Pilsners, and even a hard seltzer! Great atmosphere, friendly service, great beers, and from looking at the menu, great food, through the wall, next door. Enjoyed a few of their tasty brews on site, another yummy choice to go, definitely looking forward to return visit, great place to visit in the Fremont district of Seattle. Yelping on! We love the atmosphere at Aslan - great music, plenty of seating, great service. The beer we could take or leave; pretty standard but nothing to write home about. My wife got a stout that was fairly flat on the flavor profile and my sour was plain as well. We have gotten food from Eventide in the past which is excellent and should definitely be part of your experience. read more

I was going to the listen to live music on a friday night. I decided to stop in to grab a drink. I had the strawberry dojo, saison. It was fruity but you could taste the aftwrnootes of hops. It was 6+% abv. The service was great! It was down to earth and in a relaxed environment. The only thing I wish they had was more seating. It's a pretty small area. The tables are closed together and was very dog friendly. Great plants everywhere! Felt very open. There was a case when you first walk in that they filled with cider and wine, just in case you didn't want beer. I would definitely come back. read more

Stumbled upon this place wandering around Fremont while waiting for our Theo Chocolate Factory Tour to begin. The bartender was super friendly and helped me and my non-beer loving friend pick out what to drink, and was super patient with us asking to sample stuff. My friend ended up LOVING their champagne style rose sour. The beers I tried were nothing to write home about, but were enjoyable. The atmosphere is super fun and clean with murals on the walls and two rooms to choose between for seating. You can order food next door at Local Tide and have it brought to your table in Aslan, which is what we ended up doing the next day for lunch. read more
