And so I went up a third time and was livid as another half dozen+++ orders went by. The frustrating thing is we paid up front and left a 20% tip on the worst food service ever. We have learned our lesson and won't do that again. Recognize it's not just the server it's the entire service...from what happened to our ticket, our food prep and delivery to our table? At the release party, we heard from Rodney Hines, co-owner of Métier Brewing Company about the history of Steelheads Alley and of course, Métier and their vision and products and especially about the two featured brews, Ombili and Black is Beautiful. Rodney is an awesome guy and he has the right ideas about community and influence. Larry from Ruebens Brewery also spoke about the collaboration with Métier and the beers and the positive messages that these products can help bring to people. The release party had a great spread of charcuterie boards, a DJ, and great company. I bought a 4 pack of cans of the Ombili IPA to bring home and also enjoyed a few drafts of several of their beers during the release party. Overall a very enjoyable evening with great company. Way to go Steelheads Alley! We'll be back!

It is still a local vibes only spot for sure, but a small conversation about my hometown, Laguna Beach, and the OC, and being a transplant from CA in WA with Julian made me feel right at home here. Love Hildegard's stuff and with their recent closure of the beer side it was so nice to find these I hadn't had this and my friend got each of us a can. We also got a bowl of vegetarian chili, which was good but not my favorite. Very smoky, the type of chili that is usually paired with barbecue. I just prefer my chili a bit more tomatoey, but I'm sure plenty of people like a smoky chili. There was a big group of people playing cribbage, which I thought was fun and charming! Lots of folks hanging out at the bar. Seems like a place that has lots of regulars. I'd come back!
