    Menu is quite limited (unfortunately)

This place is definitely overhyped. Here is how my takeaway experience today went. Upon entering, I was warmly greeted by one of the young men upfront. The restaurant inside was quite clean and well-maintained. I liked the simplicity in the dining interior. This was a nice start. And yet.... The menu - Quite small and limited. The laminated menus were at the register so I glanced at it. As I didn't see much on one side, I flipped it to see if there was anything on the back. There was nothing. I first thought that I would order a few things from the appetizer section but it didn't seem like it would be the most economical way so I turned my attention to the "The Real Deal": entree section. And oh boy, everything is/was so expensive unless you would order as a pita. For instance, the Shawarma Chicken is $21 as a pita, $25 as a baguette and $32 as a plate; the Ribeye Skewers is $34 as a pita, $37 as a baguette and whopping $42 as a plate. What?? Seriously?? After seeing these insanely high prices, I had no choice but to go with one of the cheapest items: Sabich (plate). I had no clue what Sabich was so I asked the young guy what that came with. And he said it's eggplant and eggs. Okay, sounds good I thought. I am a plate person so I went with that and it is/was $26. I'm not trying to be stingy here and yet after tax and tip, the total was $35. This is like ordering a good-portioned plate with some meat in it. At that point, I sure was crossing my fingers for the quality to be excellent or at least good. Sabich wasn't bad. It's a vegetarians plate where well-seasoned carrots, purple cabbage, eggplant and (hard-boiled) eggs (2) were placed in a round container. It came with a deliciously dense pita bread and oh my lord, French fries!! I have seen it where one of the accompaniments in a Middle Eastern or Mediterranean plate were French fries at least a few times in the past and this is a big no no or turn off for me. Why French fries?? Can they not put tabbouleh or hummus or something more closely associated with the very cuisine?? Or am I being picky or snobby here? As soon as I got to my car, I immediately started digging into the food (I had a yoga class to attend so hence the late lunch in my car.) Sabich is/was "okay" at its best. As I have already stated, the pita bread was delicious. Also, the two sauces that came with the dish were quite decent (I especially liked the yellow one) but other than that, this wasn't a dish I could rave about it. And the portion size wasn't that generous either. And I paid $35 for all of this? I feel like I wasted my money on something that was simply and painfully overpriced. Ugh.... I don't think I will return to this establishment. The only reason why I am giving this place a 3-star review is because of the pleasant young man upfront. His warm smile and meaningful "thank you" when he handed me my food were the only memorable things I could think of.

Ten stars for Asli Mediterranean Grill, a kosher meat restaurant in Denver. The food was fresh, delicious and so plentiful! Friendly service and an energetic atmosphere. Best pita in the city in my opinion. Will definitely be back!!

They opened about two months ago. They offer delicious authentic dishes that you will have to try. Tasty falafel that's piping hot. Their mixed plate is so good and I especially favor the chicken over the veal. The salads are fresh and delicious! Their hummus is great but their pillowy pita bread is one of the best in recent memory! A bit about hummus: No matter how you prefer to eat it, hummus is a tasty and healthy way to introduce more plant-based protein, fiber, and nutrients to your diet. Featured Dish: 1. Shawarma Chicken (Pargiot) and Shawarma Veal Combination Plate with Israeli Chopped Salad, Red Cabbage Salad and Rice 2. Hummus with Mushroom with Pita 3. Falafel Appetizer 4. Soup of the Day - Orange Veggies *ASLI in Hebrew slang means the original, real deal, authentic, no joke.

This place is absolutely delicious!! My husband and I could not believe how fresh the hummus was and we literally said it was the softest pita bread we ever had! We got the shawarma and the kabobs and both were excellent! Extremely juicy and tender. You can't go wrong with either one. The plates were full of other fixings so that you get a ton of flavors in every bite!! Our server was great he answered all our questions with a smile. This place loads on the food and we got so full and still had some leftovers! I can't wait to come back!

The food was delicious and the service was friendly and enthusiastic. It is a nice relaxing place to grab a meal, though it is a bit in the pricey side. However there are no other Kosher restaurants like it in the area.

Went to dinner at ASLI and had a great meal! The beef kebab was my favorite. The hummus was delicious and the pita was soft and fluffy. I also enjoyed the lamb shawarma. For those who complain about the prices: Yes, they are higher than you might see elsewhere. That is because ASLI is a kosher restaurant. The meat is more expensive, and there are other requirements and restrictions that drive up costs. However, you get a nice-sized serving of tasty food for your money!

This place just opened and there are still some thing that can be improved but I'm ecstatic that there is finally a shawarma in Denver that is a true authentic Israeli shawarma, and it also tastes really good! The good: Nice casual dining room with some patio seating as well out front Great service, though it is still a little on the slow side Great shawarma (the first ever Israeli level shawarma in the great state of Colorado!) Ok hummus Good shoug! They have amba sauce!! To improve: A little pricey Beverages should be a little colder Can't serve cold hummus. Should be at least room temperature. I'll absolutely come again. Good luck and hope this place thrives.

Must try food was so good .

Came to visit in Denver and wanted a good middle eastern food, we stopped by there today and what a pleasant experience we had . The owner and staff are amazing people with great hospitality and great food. The meat was delicious and done right , the ribeye was such a surprise ( they dry aged it for 14 days in house - taste amazing) , the shawarma was tasty and even there French fries and side dishes were just phenomenal. A must if you are in Denver , we will definitely be back !

Customer service is 10/10! Food was 10/10

We got the apps, drinks and mains all together which was a bit odd because our table had no more place. Our server did not ask us and we thought it was understood. The lamb kofte, hummus and mandu dumplings were great! Their pita is fresh and piping hot, unlike other pitas I've had which was a big positive! The main dish my mom got was the carrot dish because she is a vegetarian, it was such a lazy dish! Just extra charred carrots on a bed of chickpeas and sauce - I expected more! Everything lamb was grilled to perfection and tasted really good. The falafel was very tasty as well. Stick to meat options if you decide to dine here. I wish they had a few more vegetarian options in the mains. We decided to skip desserts here because they did not sound appetizing at all. Service was alright. FYI - they will add a 20% service charge irrespective of your party size.

I was excited to try after watching a documentary on the Somm channel about that specific winemaker. The wine was delicious. Our server Yvonne guided our menu choices thoughtfully and enhanced our experience with excellent service. We started with watermelon feta salad with baby cilantro, walnuts, and harissa oil. The watermelon was cool, sweet, and crisp and the flavors balanced perfectly. If you are a pickle lover you must get the pickles. I think I will be dreaming of them. The pickled cabbage, okra, califlower and snap peas were just the best! The pitas were puffy, but not hollow, and warm. There was also an olive oil dipping sauce that complemented everything. Star of the show for me was the forgaged mushrooms and hummus. These were the most delicious mushrooms and snoothest hummus I have ever experienced, and I think there might be magicians in the kitchen. Our other dishes were cabbage and eggplant.
