    Honey cheese pizza

Food was not great, got the honey cheese pizza with a third of it with pepperoni thanks to Ania. Ania was super helpful and made the experience a 5 star.

Got this food from Uber eats- for some reason it was a "top rated" Mediterranean restaurant on Uber eats. Well I should have looked in yelp, bc I was not impressed. My food (which was 22.00 for a gyro plate) was mostly rice, there was not much meat and a lot of it was literally charred. The dogs still ate it haha but barely. The hummus was good, the pita seemed fresh, but was flavorless. Uber eats order was delivered quickly, so I am assuming service is fast. For what I paid I am very unimpressed and will not be ordering from here again.

    Beef Beef Kafta Calzone

After a long day at school, my friend and I drove over 30 minutes for some PitaFresh. Went here around 10:45. My friend is a vegetarian and clearly ordered a calzone with no meat. I heard it. The food took a while to come out, but we weren't upset at this point. My vegetarian Gyro came out and was delicious. However, when my friends calzone came out, there was meat embedded in the crust. It took her a long time to rally courage to speak up because she normally doesn't make a stink at restaurants. When she finally went up and asked, the man she ordered from completely denied her asking for no meat. This was strange, as I presume the customer is always right. It took a lot of back and forth with the employee being quite rude. In one moment he urged "You can either pay for a new one or stay with that one". It got to the point where my timid friend backed off and we just left. Not a nice employee. Gave the Calzone to a homeless person, even he thought it was gross.

We came in for our first time and really enjoyed our experience. The customer service was good. The pizza was excellent with beef shawarma on it. The fries had a delicious flavor. The Chicken Shawarma was delicious. I will definitely be coming back for more. The parking lot can be full during peak times. Fair prices overall.

I went in on a late night around 2 AM. I work late sometimes and get hungry, but there isn't a lot of good choices out there around that time so I was glad to find this place I was greeted by a young lady who is very nice. I ended up getting the beef Shawarma plate, it came out to $20 they made it fresh. The picture is when I got home of the street is a Jerusalem Restaurant. I have been going there forever but they stopped staying open late. The beef Shawarma was really good. The rice was good, the hummus was OK it lacked a little flavor, but the pita was amazing. It was so fresh. Better than Jerusalem's I will definitely be back.

I was excited to try after watching a documentary on the Somm channel about that specific winemaker. The wine was delicious. Additionally, I was so happy to see small boutique wine from the Santa Barbara area like Amevive and A Tribute to Grace. Our server Yvonne guided our menu choices thoughtfully and enhanced our experience with excellent service. We started with watermelon feta salad with baby cilantro, walnuts, and harissa oil. The watermelon was cool, sweet, and crisp and the flavors balanced perfectly. If you are a pickle lover you must get the pickles. I think I will be dreaming of them. The pickled cabbage, okra, califlower and snap peas were just the best! The pitas were puffy, but not hollow, and warm. There was also an olive oil dipping sauce that complemented everything. Star of the show for me was the forgaged mushrooms and hummus. These were the most delicious mushrooms and snoothest hummus I have ever experienced, and I think there might be magicians in the kitchen. Our other dishes were cabbage and eggplant. Both taste explosions, done masterfully with a sauce, color and texture. This food is truly incredible, highly recommend. I am in Denver for work, anytime I travel back to Denver I will for sure return to Safta.

So unexpected, refreshing, and delicious. This isn't just a place to grab something to eat--it's an experience. Go hungry, order a bunch of things, share everything, and experiment. Definitely a must-try.

I won't say which, but boy, was it a letdown. The falafel were like little hockey pucks and the pita were like cardboard, flat and stale-tasting. I didn't think you could screw up pita. Only the hummus was passable. All this to say that I have been SPOILED by moving within walking distance of the Byblos in Alamo Placita, which is where a little taco place used to be. It's in a sweet little spot with patio seating on the corner of 4th and Corona, but the draw is really the food. I can't vouch for the meat dishes as a vegan, but WOW is their pita soft, fresh and flavorful, and they replenish it readily. Their hummus is excellent, their baba ghanoush is the best I've had since leaving the greater Boston area (with its abundance of outstanding ethnic restaurants) and the eggplant moussaka is fantastic. Plus they put this fully vegan cream dressing on the garden salad that is out of this world. Byblos has completely ruined me for a lot of other restaurants. As I'm writing this I think I've talked myself into going there for lunch!

The lamb kofte, hummus and mandu dumplings were great! Their pita is fresh and piping hot, unlike other pitas I've had which was a big positive! The main dish my mom got was the carrot dish because she is a vegetarian, it was such a lazy dish! Just extra charred carrots on a bed of chickpeas and sauce - I expected more! Everything lamb was grilled to perfection and tasted really good. The falafel was very tasty as well. Stick to meat options if you decide to dine here.
