Bad!!! After the project was done was advised i still owed my deductible. Even after talking to two people i still wasnt believed. Tyen finally a manager agreed. Then i was harassed for over a month by the project consultant for moey the insurance never gave me. End recently by him calling me a liar. Threatening to put a luen on my house and he even threatened to come to my home and said that i better answer the door. I had to threaten to call the cops to.kerp him away. He screamed and yelled at me. Finally after all that the manager called again and said i was right i never received the money for the supplemental and apologized for his staff behavior.Read the two other comments. I was treat as less than human even after paying over $12000. Fought with all of you for a month that i didnt owe anything that it was the insurance company. I was accused of lying and keeping money from you. I was threatened with a lien against my home for money the insurance company was not going to pay. I was threatened that one of your vety very angry consultants were coming to my house and i better answer the door. Had the threaten police action to keep him away. Luckily he did stay away. Im a good person who pays my bills. Non of this was my fault yet i was treated subhuman. So my advice is treat everyone with kindness no matter the circumstances. I as a customer should have never ever been yelled at, threatened. Or anything of the kind. Please do better god bless. read more

Aspen Roofing installed my roof without a proper overhanging of shingles that would allow the rain to drop into my gutters. As a result, the water dropped onto my facia and rotted it. They have taken no responsibility for the improper installation. I do not recommend this company at all. They're "storm chasers" that don't honor their warranty. Unpleasant people. read more

A hailstorm went through McPherson Ks in Aug 2025. Aspen roofing was one of the many contractors that stopped by the house. Jacob the representee of Aspen contracting. He made many promises and even when I questioned what he was saying he would tell me that i was not correct and worrying too much. I asked him not to start the job until we had final numbers. he ensured me that he had to do the job to get the final numbers from the insurance company. The communication was almost nonexistence. The shingles showed up, and they did my roof without anyone around. They left messes and did not clean up. Once the job was completed, they bill me and it was over way over what we had agreed to. Jacob then called me up and stated that we did not have the conversations that we had and that i must have just miss understood him. The bottom line is this company is shady, and they are storm chasers, do horrible work and lie during the entire process. I would highly recommend if they come knocking to your door you send them away and do not trust them for anything they tell you. Very bad business. read more

I would never do business with this company again. It took 6 months to install our roof and gutters. They showed up unannounced each time. Left nails, shingles and metal in our pool, yard, driveway and gardens. They had to come back out multiple times to fix issues. They ripped our antenna wire in half. Than they tried billing us over a half dozen times for anywhere from $500 to nearly $7,000 more formwork they didn't do. I had to resubmit revised invoices for them to fix. They charged a friend the less then 5% less for half the material and a much simpler job. All of which i have proof. No discount offered for the enormous headache even when asked was told no. Promised additional material for the shed they messed up and then they back out, but all on camera promising. They are shady, stay away. I wouldn't give them even 1 star if I didn't have to. UPDATE: I called them as requested and was told it was corporate that made the reply but that they don't handle the issues. It took multiple phone calls to get hold of someone. I kept getting promised a phone call back but no one did. The manager said he would take care of things and discuss with corporate and call me back with the outcome. Once again an empty promise. I had a shingled roof replaced by Aspen 10 years ago. The contract is for a 40 year extended limited lifetime warranty. I contacted Aspen several times in the last 10 days thru phone calls, texts and emails. I've covered everything in the room to keep them dry. No one at Aspen can give me any time frame for them to send someone to repair the problem. Keep Away! I will remove this negative review and replace with a positive one. My parents are both veterans, one retired and one a business owner. Anthony lied directly to my parents' faces. He told them insurance would cover everything that needed to be replaced due to hail damage: roof + gutters + garage doors. My parents knew this wasn't true and pushed Anthony on it. Anthony would not give my parents a written invoice, note, or otherwise. They have no written documentation that shows what they're paying for or from which account the payment originates. "You must have misheard me" is what he said to my parents. He LIED repeatedly and this project has been ongoing for nearly a month. Other homes on the street had their projects done in a week, but not Aspen Contracting. They take forever and bleed you dry financially. It is absolutely disgusting to lie to people in their 60s about what you're doing and why. Having this information stored entirely online in an account is not an acceptable substitute for written communication. Every time they finish a part of the project, Anthony makes them write a new check. Why would my parents be writing more than one check if all of the project was covered by insurance? This company deliberately misleads its customers so they're left holding the bag. I would not recommend Aspen Contracting to anyone for any project. Ever. read more

I would strongly suggest that you ask for several references on this company as I honestly don't know how they have as many stars as they do (I suspect its the low number of reviews provided). They replaced my rough a few years and was a horrible experience from beginning to end...shoddy work, wrong color roof placed and work that was never completed (replacement of a few screens...a small issue but still needed to be done and they said they would do it and it never happened). Fast forward a few years and I had to call them back for a leak issue and it was pretty much the same experience - bad. But to be fair they were responsive and came the day after I called. But communication with this company is horrible. Aspen replaced my roof a few years back after hail damage. Now my roof has been leaking for 2 months with CONSTANT rescheduled and excuses as to why the "contractors" can't show up when they say they're going to. DO NOT recommend this company. I'm still waiting on my roof to be fixed as I watch my living room ceiling continue to wither away and fall apart. they do NOT care about the customer whatsoever. read more

Summary: Aspen's warranty states great coverage for an exceedingly long time. It is very easy to have a warranty like they do when they will only repair roof/drywall/and interior ceiling. If and when they do a bad job on your roof (as two issues have now been found) they will defend it and tell you to pay for it. The damage to my windows has been quoted at $27,500. This is Aspen's warranty follow through. *Update 6/2/2022* Pat Nussbeck (President and CEO) conitually requested to send his team out to keep looking for anywhere else the water could be getting in besides the roof. I allowed these sessions as my team was convinced at this point that the waters entry was from the the poor roofing job. The trim boards were pulled back from the house and revealed that no water was able to get back behind them. Then, Aspen's team sprayed water directly at the window (and most importantly the rotted out giant hole section of the window) and magically, water was able to get through it. I honestly felt the President wouldn't use this as a way to write-off any accountability for the warranty and I was mistaken. It was precisely what he did in a formal letter from Aspen. Furthermore, it was discovered that the material that goes between the shingles and the plywood of the roof (name escapes me Underlayment maybe?) was NEVER put down. It is quoted by one of his own team say "this was obviously a job where they told the new guy to "go nuts". Legal action at this time is the only recourse which I am taking. *Update 4/19* Am now working directly with Pat Nussbeck (President of Aspen Roofing). We are again focusing on the investigation of the issue however. He has requested yet another additional visit to open up my internal drywall to see where the water (if any) has been going as a result of not having house wrap on the home. Waiting for legal to get back with me on allowing the on-site (I'm fine with it as long as my contractor is on-site). *Update 4/6* Inspected for "house wrap" behind siding and found to be none. This could be A factor for a water issue. Aspen has used this as an opportunity to waive any and all responsibility for the window damage. Not having this can be a factor, however it doesn't negate damage as a result of not having flashing installed. Was also stated by my contractors that this couldn't case this damage. This is the warranty follow through from Aspen for my situation. After showing damage resultant from improper roof installation, repair, and materials not used I was told "not our problem". *Update 4/4* On-site team were very professional and did a thorough review of the issues and I'm awaiting a formal response from Aspen, we shall see. This review will continue to change as this plays out. I've been shown no accountability for their "warranty" . I as the customer have had to prove beyond all doubt any home damage as a result of their 3rd party contract roofers. Roofing done 7 years ago by previous owner. I had repair done March 2021. Found no flashing installed under shingles. Wrong type of shingles used to repair roof. Sealant was only "tubed" out and left like toothpaste on top of the shingles and exposed (no flashing) roof. Water leaked down and destroyed a luxurious 10 window living room bay window. Had a team from Aspen come out and repaired the roof and installed flashing. Vernon from Aspen lied about reports from on-site team and fabricated other reasons for the water damage that were never inspected or identified by aspens on-site repair team (pdf in possession). Will have to take this company to court over the issue as they will not take accountability for the damages. Two separate contractors reviewed the damage prior to Aspen coming to repair and ascertained that the roof is the location of the leak. This review will be continuously updated after an on-site "inspection" tomorrow. However, after setting the date Vernon proceeded to lecture to me how the damage didn't exist and Aspen is not at fault, so I am expecting more of the same tomorrow. read more

Aspen Project Consultant Ernest Cuevas was very nice and explained the whole process. 5 stars on his effort. Aspen however did not follow through and had very little follow up. Ernest was moved to another dorm out of state so they gave me another Rep Chris. Chris came out and helped and remeasured. Chris then also was sent to a different storm. Supervisors were hard to get response. Corporate assigned another rep. Still no contact. read more

Aspen Roofing out of lees summit MO. If you are looking at doing business with this company RUN. They do not stand behind the work/product. They use substandard contractor. I have been in a five year issue with this company. The owner Pat will not fix my roof. I have had another company come out to evaluate the entire roof. They have found multiple issues that are going to cost me $7,000 to fix. This leaves me no choice but to take legal action. read more

Insurance Claim and roof replaced by Aspen in April 2017. Multiple issues since - 1st issue - roofers scratched skylight and had to replace, 2nd issue - roofers did not pick up nails in driveway with cars now driving over, 3rd issue - leak around H Vac exhaust in June 2017...where Aspen says H Vac issue, but they did not properly caulk around replacing the roof...Aspen did fix, but not until leak occurred, 4th issue - replaced all guttering, but the gutter crew put different color corners on, did not insert rain diffusers and was fired by Aspen the following week (they were rough), 5th issue - October 2018 now around the skylight they replaced is leaking. One of the main issues is they just randomly show up unannounced or do not show up when they are supposed to. There is no call ahead the day before or even 30 min ahead...this is one of my main issues as how do you plan around work or family. I would not recommend as there are many just general customer service items Aspen could control, but do not. ...Also I work for the largest company in Kansas City (a Healthcare IT company)...and would not recommend to other associates. read more

Awesome Company! We've used Aspen three times for our roofs. Hail in Colorado had us replace two of the roofs, then a large spruce feel on our house which required a major repair and re-roofing. Each time from start to finish, Aspen's team was amazing. Good Project Management to keep the work flowing. Great, product when they were down. AND we love the life time warranty! Whitney sold me on a black shingle roof that me and all my neighbors love . She worked thru all my painters schedules [and rain] to get my gutters tore off for painters and back on late Friday before storms came back on Sat. I work for a large restaurant chain in the city and know the importance of how great customer service can make all the difference in the world between a good and bad experience .Whitney is the real deal every phone call dealing with adjuster picking up checks helping with colors. Shady company. The salesman told us we only owed a certain amount for our new roof and the other portion of the bill was simply for insurance purposes. A few years later an admin employee calls to tell us we have an outstanding balance out of no where. We chose not to pay it due to what we were told initially by the company employee. Later that same year, our roof starts leaking!!!! Apsen Roofing conducts shady billing practices and will not honor the roof warranty, until the customer pays a surprising bill that is issued a few years later. Repaired my roof about 3 years ago. Generally good job on roof installation. However I recently called to have a leak inspected, and got voicemail. No return on phone call. Called back, and was told to send a fax of an estimate in lieu of an inspector coming out because their inspectors were so busy. Told them I did not have a fax but would call back with an estimate on the phone, received voicemail once again, left message, and they have never returned my phone call. Beware of this company in the Atlanta area, extremely rude and aggressive. I request an estimate for roof replacement due to hail damage. After going back and forth on the terms of the agreement, they assumed that I awarded them the deal and started calling my insurance company behind my back. When I asked for references, they became very agitated accusing me that I worked them for free and changed my mind about awarding them my business. Aspen Contracting Inc. can't finish a residential roofing job in four months, yet has threatened to file a Mechanic's Lien against our home in Missouri. Aspen's office manager, Lisa Princko, first said the problem was due to their own employees poor workmanship. Princko promised to send out their "best" crew, yet the "best crew" made mistakes that surpassed their "less than best" crews. Now, Aspen's Lisa Princko claims that the problem was that our home wasn't a "good" home to begin with (apparantly doing work for non-wealthy clients is demeaning to Aspen), but will send their "very best" crew to finish the mess Aspen started four months ago. Plus, if we don't agree, they will put a lien on our house. My advice, unless you live in the White House, don't use a company that, after failing to complete the job they were hired to do, believes slandering your home is good business practice.
