I am very grateful to Dr. Katz and his team. I came to him after another doctor had placed an implant incorrectly, which caused constant pain. Because the tooth had been missing for many years, the bone in that area had become very thin, and several dentists told me the implant would most likely need to be removed. I felt completely hopeless. Dr. Katz was able to save the implant by rebuilding and strengthening the bone around it and stabilizing the entire area instead of removing it. The pain disappeared, everything healed beautifully, and I was able to avoid getting a bridge that would have damaged my healthy teeth. I truly appreciate that he chose the best solution for me rather than the most profitable one. His assistant was also incredibly attentive, gentle, and professional throughout the entire process. They are good until they suggest a deep cleaning. When asked if it is covered you will be told yes. Then you will get a bill for over $500! Then after you pay that you will get a bill months later for another $34.00! I am questioning at this point if I even needed it. No other dentist has ever told me I needed it. I think it was a scam. They are only interested in what they can bill for wether it will be covered or not. Go to Boca Dental Group instead. read more

This is the only place I will ever go for dental work. I had a root canal today and I was so nervous! I have heard such horrible stories. Well not today! It went so smoothly! Not one bit of pain. The office staff is so nice and the two dentist the regular dentist Dr Dominguez and the Endo dentist were amazing. Seriously no pain!!! Not even after the Novocain wore off. No swelling either. I went to Aspen Dental about 15 yrs. ago. I never wrote a review before regarding them, I should have. I had a very bad dentist there. I ended up with a hematoma that lasted two months on my left cheek with swelling. I did go to a lawyer but he was a loser lawyer as well and told me that Aspen Dental has so many law suites that they do not respond to the lawyers!!!!! I URGE you not to go there!!!!!! read more

Aspen billed my insurance twice for a visit that was not made by me and has refused to correct their mistake. Complaints have been filed with BBB, fdac.gov already because of fraudulent billing practices, I'm not even done yet. Based on yelp reviews, it seems like this a pattern. read more

I have not been to the dentist in many years due to several bad experiences. I was having tooth pain and knew that I couldn't put it off any longer. I was able to get in quickly, turned out that I needed a root canal. Long story short - I explained my anxiety to the staff and everyone from the young man who took my x-rays to the gentleman who did my cleaning were so patient with me and made me feel extremely comfortable. The staff is very professional and friendly - Dr. Dominguez and Dr. Fernandez were wonderful and explained everything in great detail. Although gong to the dentist is not my favorite thing to do, I am no longer afraid of taking care of my teeth. read more

Upon my first visit, I found the office to be very clean and the staff very courteous and friendly. I will be honest and say that I had no idea this was a teaching facility as well. At first it made me have some reservations since I have never been to such a dental office. I do believe that this should be mentioned when speaking to the front desk when making an appointment. I am not opposed to this type of dental office because I think it great to see young people learn and achieve. I will be returning again for my next checkup. I cannot comment on anything other than my checkup and cleaning but I am sure there are many others that feel pleased with Aspen Dental. read more

The staff are nice but the corporate is definitely trying to push services. Honestly the dentist should just take those people and open their own practice and get rid of aspen, that would make a good team. Trying to sell orthodontic work right off the bat. If I could give 0 stars I would. I went in today for 10/10 wisdom tooth pain. After seeing the dentist she recommended Tylenol for the pain and to schedule with the oral surgeon, but there was nothing else she could do being the tooth was impacted. With tears in my eyes I stressed to her how much pain I was in and how it was affecting my jaw and I was unable to eat, she advised there was nothing she could do. So I waited to schedule only to be advised the surgeon is only in once a month and it wouldn't be for 3 1/2 weeks. As I left the office in severe pain with no help I had called another local dentist who got me in the same day and pulled the tooth in 5 minutes with no trouble. Not happy at all with Aspent. I had to finance part of the work because the insurance I had at that time didn't cover it. I asked for an estimate for all the work I needed. When they stated to do the work, every time i when there I got a receipt ,but what was unacceptable, they charged the total estimate amount on my financed account. When I asked them why they did it this way they told me this is the way is done. I argued many times with the manager by telling her that this is not correct. I took more than 4 months to finish what was urgent to do. I had a refund between me and my daughter for more then $800, I don't remember the exact amount, from aspen, some other charges were done double. They charged my insurance and my credit card many times. My daughter had to fill two molars close together and it was done very bad, the filling was not separated. It is been more then a year since I had this experience at aspen and just recently I received another refund for $30. read more

Unfortunately I had to fire them as my dentists recently. Last year I went in for a routine cleaning and they sold me on needing scaling. I figured, since I was a few months overdue for a cleaning, why not. They told me one price. When I went to pay it was significantly higher. I went line by line through the bill with them and saw they added a toothbrush to the bill. A $150 TOOHTHBRUSH! Without asking me or gaining my consent in any capacity. FYI, that same toothbrush sells for $50 at Target. I should have caught on to their smile and shake your hand while they reach for your wallet routine right there. A few months later I go for my next cleaning and I need a few fillings replaced. They're many years old, so I'm ok with it and didn't question the charge (how did I not learn my lesson????). The next time I go back for a cleaning they ask me for $180. My insurance covers 4 cleanings/year, so I ask why do I have to pay so much, it comes with my insurance, right? "Well yes it does, however, the dentist has you on a plan where you get xyz service each time you get a cleaning and it costs $180". Ok...well, I just want a normal cleaning, as I scheduled and as my insurance covers. "Sorry we can't do that for you, once we put you on a plan we can't change it." So what you're telling me is that I can never get a routine cleaning and that I'll always have to pay $180? "That's correct, once we put you on a plan we can't change it." They offered to refer me to another dentist. RIGHHHHT....if you fire an employee do you ask them to recommend their replacement? Why would I even consider Aspen Dentals input on whom my next dentist is. Be VERY careful here. Read each bill line by line and question EVERY charge. They are the most polite, friendly people in the world, but they are looking to extract every dime from you. read more
