Had a broken tooth and needed it pulled. Was told on the phone that it shouldnt be a problem. Went in and they did xrays and set me in a room for 30 mins. The dr came in for about 5 seconds, looked at it and said "Ok, go to the front desk and make an appointment to have it pulled." WTF? He states that its their policy not to do extractions on the first visit. They made me an appointment 9 days later. I left and called the Aspen dental in Springhill who fit me right in and did the extraction 2 hrs after dealing with the Cortez location. Do yourself a favor and make the 15 min drive to the Spring Hill office. The staff there was GREAT and will have all my future business. read more

Set this appointment up 2 weeks in advance. Explained exactly what the problem was with a flipper they crafted. It broke. I work over the road and tried to get in for cancellations as well. They brought me back at 16:45 (4:45pm) just to be told it would take more than a day to fix the problem. Incompetent receptionist, unprofessional office management, and no care for their patients. They churned out patients like a pill mill turns out drug addicts. Looks like I'm going to Mexico! At least I'll get some professionalism down there. read more

Total fraud. After talking with the attorney generals office, I sense there is going to be litigation against Aspen Dental in the state of Florida for fasle advertising and fraudulent pricing. The office manager at this location plays games with billing that are straight up fraudulent. They do not honor the prices states on the website. They will give you a sky high price then say they are giving you a discount. When you mention the website pricing, they act like they don't know what you are talking about then make up all kinds of excuses why they completely ignore the pricing. It would be a different story if you pay for quality buy the care is terrible as well. ​ read more

My bottom plate broke and the repair was less than I had expected and I can't see or feel any sort of anything at the repair site. They explained everything clear about the repair and it took considerably less time than expected. I had slated the whole day but took less than 3hrs for the whole thing. Their tech did a great job. I was quoted 177 dollars on the phone for a tooth extraction. I made an appointment got there at 2pm and didn't leave until 5pm. They held me there the entire time and tried to upsell me. I just needed a tooth pulled. I was finally asked to speak to the billing agent after sitting there for three hours and the quote for the tooth was 860 dollars plus they wanted me to have 3000 dollars in extra work done. Place is a total scam. I felt like i was being forced to wait while i was in pain so that they could talk me into spending more than 4 times the price for the tooth extraction. So i left I'm still in pain and i never had my tooth removed. I will be calling a local dentist to get this taken care of. read more

I haven't been to a dentist in about 15 years....whoops. I just always had a fear with them, not because of the pain of treatment but because of how rude and insignificant the staff made me feel. Totally surprised with Aspen, the staff treated me with respect and explained procedures and care to me thoroughly. The front desk was amazing and my dental hygienist was absolutely the best! The financial check out girl explained everything to me ( as I have no dental insurance) and worked with me on a financial plan to suit my care. I am horrible at names so I regret not being able to give you those, but this staff went above and beyond. I am not frightened to go to the dentist anymore. This place is bait and switch fraud. First they say they don't accept insurance when I checked and they do. They said I would have to pay. After I get used they checked on the computer and said I was in network. After exam 100 % paid for by my insurance they refused to do a cleaning and fillings unless I paid $146 for scaling. Scaling isn't covered by my insurance the dental hygienist came out and refused to provide by needed work . I called Aspen and was given the run around. I would rate no stars if it was applicable I saved $700 today. I went to Aspen Dental on 6/15/21 for a cleaning. They told me I had a cavity and needed a filling and a through cleaning as my teeth were so bad. I only wanted a standard cleaning but since the dentist recommended the under the gum cleaning they couldn't do that. I told them I wanted a second opinion. I went to Value Dental today and I have a clean bill...no cavity and a standard cleaning. All covered by my insurance Guardian. Thank you Value Dental for being honest. read more

I do not recommend at all. Went there because they are a preferred provider for my dental insurance. I walked out of my first appointment today. They did X-rays and then I waited. And waited. And waited. One hour after my scheduled appt time and no hygienist came in the room. They had no intention on giving me a cleaning, either- I was waiting to get their sales pitch. Just awful. They do their X-rays near the front - so anyone passing through can see you being uncomfortable with appliances sticking out of your mouth. There were people standing in the office area chatting who had a clear few of me as I was being X-rayed. Super uncomfortable. Im going back to a real dentist not a cattle drive through. I had snap-in upper implant done a number of years ago. I never had 1 issue with having the denture fit properly. When it became apparent I was going to need lower implants I decided to go to a dentist that was closer since the 1st dentist was over an hour away. Plus Aspen was a little less expensive and I qualified for financing. I went to Aspen since they were the closest to my home. I had the initial surgery in 10/03/19. It is now 7/29/20 and my snap-in denture still causes sores from rubbing. If only I had made the drive and paid the little bit extra I would have had a denture that fit perfectly. That would be comfortable every hour of the day. The only time I take out my uppers is twice a day when I brush them. Other than that they are in my mouth. Even while I sleep. I can't wear these snap-ins for even a couple hours at a time if that. And eating is just about impossible. I'm ticked off but I'm stuck at this point. Don't ever go to this dishonest office! They flat out lie and make up more lies to cover their lies! We have a family member with no insurance. We called Aspen, gave them the information, they informed us they applied a coupon for a no charge first visit with the dentist and all the X-rays needed, we set up the appointment and went in. They try to sell you every procedure possible! because of limited funds we chose to replace 2 filling and a teeth cleaning. Total cost of $748 which we paid half of upfront. When we went back for the fillings and cleaning appointment they wanted close to $1,000 before they would even begin the work! HUH? We paid $374 in advance leaving a balance of $374! At first they said the first visit was no longer free! Huh? Plus they now had a revised estimate of $2260! They supposedly refunded the $374 back to my credit card but I have zero trust in these DISHONEST PEOPLE! Office manager is rude and argumentative! What a terrible person she is! No wonder the reviews are so terrible! Note while we we're waiting I saw two other patients leave in disgust and one said "thieves" as he left! Went there Wednesday for extractions and had a tooth pulled that was so infected it should not have been removed until after a round of antibiotics. The doctor was aggressive and I was not numb after numerous attempts to numb it, due to the infection, but she felt it was okay to begin slaughtering me and I felt every single portion of the extraction from the cracking of the tooth, drilling to cut it in half all the way to the tooth finally coming out 45 minutes later and then the stitches. I said it hurt I jumped and moved and was told I'm not feeling pain I'm feeling pressure.... ummm no it was the most absolute horrible pain I have even been through and I have had a 10lb baby natural. I was in shock and so upset by the time I left I was hysterical crying in agony. Fast forward to 4 days later and my gums are so infected and I wasn't sent home with any antibiotics. I'm am still in pain and cannot eat and my jaw is in agony! So no I do not recommend this butcher of a dentist. Who was aggressive all while listening to her music from her pandora channel on her phone! I have never been terrified of a dentist before and this experience has completely ruined me! This was my first time using Aspen dental everyone seemed very pleasant and did there jobs very well. They are pretty quick there as well not making you wait around and when I was waiting they came to check on me several times to make sure I was comfortable. I had a chipped tooth that I wanted a fix for. I had never been to Aspen before. The office was clean and the staff was friendly. However I was very unsatisfied with the dentist. The dentist told me that there's nothing that she can do for me since I am pregnant until after I deliver in 20 weeks. She did not take the time to look at my medical release note from my OBGYN stating that it is safe for me to have x-rays and also to receive local anesthetic if necessary. She just took one look at me and dismissed me since I was pregnant. So now I have a hole in the front of my mouth from my chipped tooth. Fortunately there are other practices who will take the time to listen to me and read my release note to help fix my issue. I would not recommend going to this office. I am absolutely amazed at how this office is run by the staff. I am a believer that going to the dentist can be a positive experience as long as you go to Aspen Dental. I can sum this place up with one acronym- WTF! The poor support staff there.. they were all super nice and professional. On the other hand, Dr Maria Del Roccio-Yatzkhan.. completely rude and unprofessional. I got my xrays and hygienist consult within 10 minutes of being called into the back. Then I waited.. and waited.. and waited. No communication from anyone. I explained I had to go pick up my 2yo child after waiting an hour and a half from the initial appt time. All this seemed to do was irritate Dr Maria. She was playing music from her cell phone and singing along while examining (and openly criticizing) my teeth. What a joke. The music was loud to the point that the tech assisting the dentist couldn't hear half of what she was saying and had to ask her to repeat. When I learned she was the only dentist on staff there, I took my estimate and walked out. I won't be back. They can keep the free xrays. With "Dr" Maria, apparently you get what you pay for. Took advantage of a veteran's day help and they were quite cafeteria lined about the whole thing. There was no conscious care exhibited by the dentist about following up regarding the severe gum infection and the fact all the teeth were eroded and the veteran's need to have dentures. There was no offer for future services, no advice offered, it was simply a quick exam and the "worst" tooth pulled and was sent on their way. Consultations for dentures in the future with insurance resulted in price gouging for products that are 1/3 the cost elsewhere. We were quoted almost $8,000 for dentures with insurance covering enough for it to STILL cost us out of pocket $3,000. They offered to finance, but it was through a finance company. When I specifically asked if the credit report would be dinged, they 'weren't sure', stumbled over an explanation about soft checks (which was incorrect) and then tried to assure that it shouldn't affect the credit reports. Well, unfortunately that was not true and credit was affected. We are no longer interested in doing business with Aspen. We checked denture costs at other places without insurance and we are paying only $2,300 for a full set, including the extractions and readjustments for two years. Serious overcharging is occurring at Aspen. They charge more for "deep cleanings" when there is really no such thing as that designation with the insurance company. It seems they work really hard to get as much cash as they can. They are not very caring, they care more about what money they can make by claiming you need more work on any service your insurance covers for free so they can up charge it. I have insurance for free cleanings, exams and the like, but for every single appointment I made they said there was more extensive work to be done and I would need to pay out of pocket for the service my insurance says should be free. read more

Also was told after being diagnosed with paraldontal disease I would forever have to have deep cleaning the rest of my life. Disappointed. I would not recommend this office to anyone. I went in for a "consultation" which was advertised as no cost. I prefer to meet the dentist before doing any x-rays and usually every dentist that I have gone to in the past is pleased to come in and talk to me before anything is done. NOT this one, the female dentist in the office refused to come and talk to me before taking the x-rays! I got up and left. The only good thing I have to say is that the receptionist and dental assistant were very nice and professional. I can't say anything good about the female dentist, as she was obviously not well versed in customer service. Had an upper denture made in 2017. In Sept of 2019 it cracked. Of course it was passed the 6 month warranty so the charge to repair the hairline crack was $163,00. Well, here it is 2 months later and that same hairline crack appears. Just spoke with them on getting it repaired once again but at no charge. Sorry but that's not their policy. No warranty and it would be another $163 to repair the same hairline crack. I would also like to comment on the long waits while the "dentist" Maria spends most of her time at the front desk gossiping with the girls. I don't mean for a few minutes .. I mean for a very long period of time while the poor patients are sitting in the dental chair waiting and waiting. Oh yes, they all seem very friendly but believe me this is not a place you'd want to go for any dental work. Read the reviews ... I will never step foot in another Aspen Dental office again and told them so this morning. I hope they get their asses fried with this class action lawsuit against them. Additionally, my husband needed extensive dental work and I made an appointment for him months ago. This place was just awful went in to get a tooth pulled, first of all they wanted to charge me 268 for 1 tooth I was in so much pain I didn't care, I go in and the dentist was very unprofessional doing personal calls in my room, making me sit there and wait forever... then to tell me they couldn't numb me enough to pull it I would have to go somewhere else to have it pulled! I called for an appointment gave them my insurance information. Went to get see what it would cost. The personnel would not tell me what was covered nor authorized by my insurance. Took me to get x-ray said the needed x-ray in order to determine what it would cost. They never check with my insurance. Waiting for an answer had to go in to get tooth extracted since pain increased. Went to office still they did not call my insurance and had no clue what charges would be. I called on my cell phone my insurance had them explain and only then they pulled my tooth. Months later they are charging x-rays that my insurance denied saying it was not authorized. When inquiring about Aspen Dental free dental care for Veterans on May 9th, called 'Day of Service' I was referred to this office as our local one was already filled. After making an appt. I drove my demented 87 yr old husband, who also has trouble walking, standing and even sitting, the 45 miles (one way) in anticipation for him to get his broken upper plate repaired and to get a cleaning for the 7 remaining teeth on the bottom. Found out that technician was not in to do any work on his plate and they asked if we could come back on Monday. I said that we could and how about making another appt. with the understanding that I would check my calendar right away upon returning home and would call if any changes would have to be made. Was told that I would not be able to call back because (quote) "our phones are not working". I was told to call Monday morning. I inquired if it would be possible for my husband to get his 7 teeth cleaned while we were there and was told that we would have to chose between getting the cleaning OR getting the plate repaired, but service would not be given for both....Wow ! a real 'Day of Service' !..apparently just up the wrong end... read more

When i arrived early and checked in they said they were running late due to an employee calling in. I waited for 45 minutes. Their bathroom was broken so i had to go to dunkin donuts to use the restroom. They finally called me in but by then i was gonna be late for my other appt i had that day. I told them i had to leave so they rushed me through. The dentist examined my teeth in under two minutes. No one apologized except when i checked out. The dentist said no one had called in sick that day and that she wasnt sure why they said that when i checked in. Not a great first experience.. read more

Dr.Dahman did a wonderful job on my root canal with no problems she talk to you the whole way through. I would recommend dr.dahman to everyone.
