Dr. Cassidy was strongly recommended for my mother's tooth extraction by our dentist (who we trust implicitly) but seemed irritated or impatient with my mom's ALZ and anxiety. I understand that those behaviors are challenging and upsetting for some people but it has me in tears thinking of his interaction with her at the consult and on the day of the extraction. He was cold, brusque, and talked over the top of my mother as she was speaking. One of my mother's behaviors is repeating herself or asking the same question again and again. This was not received well by the doctor, and his tone made that clear. When he showed this behavior at the consult, I chalked it up to a busy or not great day for him. To see it again yesterday was heartbreaking. I wish more than ever that I could have been permitted to be with her during the procedure. How did he behave with her when I wasn't in the room? The staff were all extremely kind and pleasant, including a word of compassion from the staff member who wheeled my mom to the car. I felt compelled to share my impressions and perception of our family's experience.

Thankfully, Dr. Cassidy took my concerns very seriously and got me through the surgery with absolutely no noticeable stress to my jaw. The entire staff here was very knowledgeable and professional. All of my appointments ran on time. Though Dr. Cassidy and his associate run three separate offices in the area, this did not impact his availability. You can schedule your surgery in a different location from your consult if it works into your schedule better. Dr. Cassidy even called me to see how I was doing the evening after my surgery. He and his staff take good care of you.

Asked him for a script for the nausea/vomiting... he refused. His treatment plan? "Lay down & sleep it off." (LITERALLY his words.) This doctor did not care at all about my discomfort or individual needs as a patient. Rude, discourteous, & insensitive bedside manner. Pompous & impersonal attitude too. Doctors like this that use a one-size-fits-all cookie cutter approach are a huge red flag to me, as all patients deserve an individualized treatment plan. Additionally, if a doctor isn't there for you for the simple routine things like post-op symptoms of pain & nausea/vomiting... they won't be there for you when a serious unexpected complication arises. He lost my trust & confidence in both the "caring & compassion" department, and the "lack of individualized patient care" department. If you want to be invalidated, discredited, disrespected, gaslit, and treated like garbage regarding your post-op needs... this guy is definitely your man.

Dr. Ficker and his staff have a gentle, caring demeanor, taking time to assure that patients are comfortable, pain-free, and fully understanding the procedures that are used. I've had a few teeth pulled, a few teeth filled, and he's always done a great job for a very reasonable price, whether I was carrying dental insurance or not. I've recommended Dr. Ficker to friends and family, and they've all been as satisfied as I am.

As we all know sometimes it can be hard to get in somewhere immediately. I should have taken this as a sign that they could see me so soon. Don't get me wrong, the dental assistants were GREAT! I was thinking, thank goodness I found this place. Then came Dr. Ficker. First, no bedside manner. Second, his hand SHAKE! I needed 4 cavities filled according to their scans. I scheduled to come back for 2 of them and 2 later since I was told that there was a dental assistant that does them. Little did I know that the Doctor does that actually drilling. Remember the shaky hands? He also does the Novocaine. Long story short... I was numb for over 12 hours. AND I COULD NOT OPEN MY MOUTH THE WHOLE WAY FOR 9 DAYS....9 DAYS!!! All for a couple of cavities. Needless to say I did not go back for the others. I found another local dentist to get my in after my horrible experience. And you know what.... I DON'T HAVE ANY OTHER CAVITIES! That man with the shaky hands wanted to drill in my mouth again for NOTHING! I would not have written such a scathing review but after all of this, they sent me a bill in the mail, for something that they said my insurance would cover. I also still have pain in the one cavity that he did. I would NEVER go back here... You have been warned.

I needed an extraction of a molar that had previously had a root canal. Dr Krishnan did a through exam and explained his recommended course of action giving me plenty of opportunity to ask questions and provide my own input. I saw a different oral surgeon (at another practice) before Dr Krishnan and appreciated that Dr Krishnan involved me in the plan (a major weakness at some practices). Sedation was well prepped and seamless. Carla, my nurse, did a fantastic job reviewing the process and getting me ready for the procedure. All I remember after that point was Dr Krishnan starting sedation. I remember Amy, the assistant, setting things up and she was also very friendly. Amy wheeled me out to my sister's car after the procedure. I took ibuprofen as prescribed and had very little pain after the procedure. Overall, my experience at this office was excellent. I would definitely recommend this practice.

Glad I'll be put on another two months wait list when I go to schedule with no sympathy for being told incorrectly about referrals, having taken my number incorrectly, or the urgency of my case with infection and recurrent pain from impacted teeth (I called multiple times to try and get my appointment bumped up). Thanks UC.
