I would never recommend this place. I came here for the first time to try it out and left with more problems than I went in with. They had to redo a filling within one week, filling was not done properly the first time and now I am paying the price. I asked for a referral to a specialist due to pain after they worked on me and they referred the wrong information to look at did not communicate with me at all on the process. Will never be coming back here again went in with zero pain and left now suffering from pain as a result of work they have done. I do not trust them anymore. After Dr. Kim left I no longer like this place. The owner pulled on my filling in my teeth so hard to check my filing that he pulled it partially out. Everyone was really nice and my appointment went well. I needed a deep cleaning so I made another appointment. I've experienced a long wait to get in for a cleaning at other places but I got an appointment for the next week. It's important to me to be able to get appointments when needed. Some of these reviews may scare you, but don't let them! Milburn Dental is the place to be. I am always super afraid of the dentist due to prior experience, but the level of care here is unmatched. They will answer every single one of your questions without complaint & no question is a dumb one to them. I was super afraid to get a cavity filled since it was my firsttt ever one, but Tiffany and Dr. Chen made me feel completely comfortable. Throughout the experience they checked up on me while also telling me I was doing a great job. The front desk ladies are so sweet and will do their absolute best to accommodate you, but also be very clear if you have any out of pocket expenses to pay. I've been a patient for about 5 years, the service has gone downhill and I'll be looking for a new dentist. I visited yesterday and it just seems as though everyone was aloof, disengaged or dismissive. There's no reason that I should've had to repeat myself every single time a new employee came over. I think it is also ridiculous that the new cancelation policy is two weeks in advance, that is money hungry and unrealistic. I want to start off by saying my teeth are very clean and feel amazing. My initial appt was in August 2025 but they emailed me about an opening same day so I jumped on it. They didn't verify my insurance until I got there so that took some time, but we got it cleared. Then the dentist met me for a few minutes, the hygienist came, the assistant came to finish off and she asked me if I wanted flouride. I agreed, then I got a bill for $15.00. Overall the staff at Milburn have it together. Instead of the hygienist doing 4 jobs, they break it down to one staff member focusing on one specialty (ie one doing x-rays & the other doing the actual cleaning, another polishing) kind of like an assembly line, but it seems to work. This allows them to see more patients. I especially like Doctor Chien. She helps you take preventative steps. Which saves both time, money and headaches!!! read more

I saw another dentist 4 days before coming here. I had terrible pain and that dentist did not treat me-just took x rays and scheduled me two weeks out. I made an appt. here for a Friday, they upped my appt. sooner, and gave me anti-biotics to relieve my gum pain. So grateful to Dr. Chen and my hygienist for helping alleviate my pain. read more

Let me start out by saying this - I am not someone who enjoys dental appointments. Really. I typically hate them and, throughout much of my life, would do anything to get out of going to them. I had horrible dentist experiences as a kid, so as a grown woman, going to the dentist is right up there with visiting the DMV, paying a parking ticket in person, or even having a conversation with an ex spouse... ...but Milburn Dental isn't like going to the dentist. This place is amazing. Both Drs. Bhatia are amazing, friendly, gentle dentists. The office is nice and clean, and each station has a huge television with Netflix so you can watch tv or listen to your favorite show while they work on you. The techs are all super sweet and gentle, too. No harsh comments and I didn't feel embarrassed by my teeth. The cleanings are quick and very well done. Also, after x rays, they can give you a complete breakdown of what everything will cost with insurance or without. As for dental work, in my case, I need a lot of work done. Did you know silver fillings expire and crack? Well, they do, and I have a crapload of them from childhood. I'm currently working to replace the cracked ones, and I've sat for both dentists. In both instances, I felt NO PAIN. If I even winced a little, they both stopped to check on me to ensure I was okay before proceeding. The office has the ability to make your crown right there, too, so I was prepped and had two teeth crowned in one appointment, which is important for me because I work crazy hours. I am someone who hates the dentist's office, but this place really makes dental appointments easy. Honestly, I couldn't recommend this place more than I already do. I usually went to Dr. Ben Magleby in Clovis. I never paid off the pocket once as i have gone to the dentist every 6 months strictly. There was no problems they checked my gum pocket was about 2-4 not above. The reason i moved here because this is very very close to my house. My first visit, i was told to do the deep cleaning. I tried to refuse because my old dentist never think i need one but here they could not do the regular cleaning unless i finish deep cleaning with them which i did. I think its ok maybe once in a while i may need deep cleaning so it was done. Not long after that i had to go back for check up after deep cleaning which i understood. Then they try to schedule me for cleaning every 3 months but i said i want to do what my insurance covers. I always go along with them whatever they recommend but today i went back for regular cleaning and i made sure i did NOT want to do anything aside from just regular cleaning that insurance covers. When everthing was done i came out they said i had to pay about $14 (which i dont mind paying) but what i DO NOT like is everytime i come here i have to pay out off my pocket they always do things that not covered 100% by insurance. So i asked them why regular cleaning do i get charged? Tjey said they did periodontal regular cleaning for me!!!! I said i did NOT want to do anything aside from my insurance coverage. And my gum pocket none of spot above 4! Most is just 2 and 3 some 4s. I feel bad that they up charged me for what i might not necessary need! read more

I love this place. Very nice staff. The ladies in the front welcome you right as you enter. The wait time is less than 30 mins, from the lobby to waiting for dr to check on you. I would rate this place 4.9. They get really busy that if you reschedule and want anything after 4, they have to reschedule you about 3 to 4 months depending on what you want. Had a root canal done a year ago and experienced pain since getting it done. I followed up twice after the root canal experiencing pain and they brushed it off saying it was nothing and shaved down my crown since my "bite" wasn't even and that was the reason for the pain. Pain never went away and now I am being told by a different dentist that I have an infection and don't qualify for another root canal because my actual tooth is fractured. They had to do a tooth extraction and I am now having to get an implant. I do not recommend this dentist! They seem to do everything in a hurry just to get you in and out and are also very rough during procedures!!! read more

This place has to be committing so much fraud it's ridiculous. Please be very very careful when scheduling . They want me to redo 7 teeth and when I went to specialist all of them said that is not necessary and my teeth are fine. They absolutely do not listen when scheduling and I'm saying I need a morning only for my sons cleaning and all the girl offers is afternoons 4 months ahead of time. I also have a crown needed and when trying to schedule the receptionist said I had to put a $100 deposit which was never asked of us before. I said my insurance is covering the entire thing and you even gave me the breakdown as I don't even have a copay on it. She said then you need to give a $100 deposit before I book your appointment and we can always refund you. What kind of request is that?! This office isn't worth your time. So unprofessional. Another shady situation. I sign a release of medical records from a new dentist and Milburn is straight out REFUSING to send my records until I sign their form. Fine. Then the receptionist has the nerve to say it will take longer because the person who reviews records BEFORE they are allowed to send them out is in and out of the office and not there every day so it's whenever they have time to review my records and approve before they can send out. Why can't my records just go out if I've signed a release?? Why do you need DAYS to review? What do you need to change?? This is ridiculous. They have had over 48 hours to send our records and they keep saying they will TRY to. After stating in person when I drove down to sign their forms that they send within 24-48 hours. I reported them to the board. I included all communication as this is ridiculous. The receptionist was also refusing to even send my sons records because she said they were my husbands even though it has my sons name, I checked I was the parent and it had a minors birthdate. Not only are these people unprofessional beyond belief but they aren't very bright and to refuse such things I can't even believe they are allowed to get away with it. The office manager Rebecca GUARANTEED to send records before the end of the day knowing they had 3 days to send them and never did and we had an appointment at a new office next morning. SHE NEVER SENT THEM. How is this office even allowed to get away with such disgusting behavior?! read more

This is a professional and honest dental office that genuinely cares for its' patients. It is clear that their front office staff is skilled and keeps the office running smoothly. I called their office a bit marred from my experience with questionable billing practices by a nearby dental office. The person I spoke to went over my insurance benefits with me and clearly outlined the costs I should expect (this was only an estimate and not binding). She said that this was pretty standard. This suggests to me that they have transparent and honest billing practices. I have A LOT of anxiety surrounding the dentist's office. Although I did not communicate that, I believe, the staff picked up on it and made sure to check in with me extra. Perhaps this is a standard practice and I read too much into it, but to me it was the extra mile that allowed me to relax as much as possible. Additionally, the had a lot of technology that made the visit MUCH more comfortable and less anxiety-inducing. These two things made this the best dental experience I have ever had and for which I am very grateful for. Lastly, on my initial visit I had an approximate bill for the services I needed on my next visit. When I completed that visit and went to pay it was actually less. The office could have EASILY charged me what the approximate bill said and I would have been none the wiser. This just confirmed to me that this is an honest dental office. The office also uses "they" pronouns on their documents! This illustrates to me that they are conscientious of all people and demonstrate a willingness to make all their patients as comfortable as possible! I had been looking for a honest dentist for my family in Modesto. Every dentist I went to seemed more interested in my insurance limit. Then my cousin in Fresno said I should go see Dr. Bhatia at Milburn Dental. I felt it was to far but my cousin said it was worth it. Well I have made lots of good and bad decisions , Milburn Dental was definitely a good one. Dr Bhatia explained all procedures and options before he started the treatment.
