In fact, I had to see another dentist last year because he was on vacation, and I was very sorry that I didn't just wait until he returned. What a huge difference in techniques! My teeth have always been particularly healthy, but I have had to have an occasional filling or two. My son, on the other hand, inherited very bad teeth from his mom's side of the family, so he has had a lot more work done. Neither one of us have ever complained about pain from the injections or the actual drill work. Dr. Parks' office has always been on time, in fact, I'm usually done sooner than expected, His staff is very friendly and courteous, I love talking to Vivian. His equipment is state-of-the-art. I have recommended Alluvial Dental Center to countless friends and family, and everyone who has gone to see Dr. Parks actually thanked me for the recommendation. I hate getting my teeth worked on as much as the next person, but I am grateful that Dr. Bitters handed his practice over to Dr. Parks, and I plan to continue using him for my and my families dental needs for years to come!

When I suggested it might be my gums, she said there was no way. At a later visit for the same pain issue, Dr. Park told me it was my gums, completely contradicting her, and said, "I bet it hurts, but it's a good type of pain," while laughing. He said he'd prescribe a mouth rinse but never did. The pain continued, and when I went back again, I was dismissed yet again with, "Well, I guess it hurts, otherwise you wouldn't be here," and then told they couldn't help me. Conflicting diagnoses, no follow-through, and being repeatedly dismissed while in pain made this a very negative experience. Almost 3 months later, I am still in pain. I would not return.

Denture didn't fit , teeth were way too big, and would not stay in my mouth! I had implants in my denture and they still didn't fit , so embarrassing ! Had gotten a flyer in my mail from Dr. Parks. Decided to have him do bottom denture for me. What a complete difference in the two dentist! Dr. Parks was so very kind! He totally understood the mess I was in . i was hoping he could fix it! He did!! He pulled bottom teeth, inserted 4 implants and cleaned up a bad infection. I absolutely did not have an ounce of pain whatsoever during or after the procedure! I was given pain meds which I did not even need to take! He made a beautiful denture that FITS my mouth and looks amazing! I am so very happy with the results of the work Dr. Parks did for me. They got me all the paperwork I needed as a new patient and informed me that they would be able to get me in to see the dentist today. I had been fighting an issue with a toothache for 4 days which was causing me extreme headaches. My fear was that I was going to need to have that tooth pulled and they weren't going to be able to help me today. I was able to get in to see the dentist get an X-ray of problem tooth and have the tooth extracted. I was so relived that they were able to fit me in. Everyone I interacted with was so nice and listened to my concerns. I am extremely pleased with my visit and I already have another appointment set to come back in.
