Horrible. Received a filling and it fell out days later causing horrible pain. I called and informed them that the filling they gave me days ago had fallen out and I was in pain. Receptionists said he would schedule an emergency apt. Receptionist then tells me that they calculated my dental plan wrong from my last visit and that I needed to pay $150 before they can see me. To give me a bad filling, calculate my treatment wrong and not notify me, wait until I call for an emergency to inform me of this error, and say we can't see you until you pay this unexpected money that we calculated wrong without telling you.....poor treatment dental wise and customer wise. I bought my Cousin to the Aspen Dental (15) fifteen minutes ahead of the scheduled appointment. We sat for (58) fifty-eight minutes waiting for someone to take him back in the office to be seen. There were (3) three patients who arrived after we did who were seen before my Cousin was seen. The excuse was that "they were waiting for a room to be vacated". I can't imagine it took that long to get a vacated room. My cousin is paying too much to be summarily ignored and if I had not said anything. There is NO TELLING how long we would have sat in the waiting area as the ladies behind the desk did nothing to expedite my Cousin being seen. This Customer service was atrocious and blatantly disrespectful. Be very leery of utilizing this place for any treatment or plan on sitting for an extended period of time in the waiting area. read more

I got dentures here and I have to say that it's a process you go through when you get all your teeth out and fake teeth. The process was challenging, I literally felt like a Karen every single time I called them to help me with my new teeth but they were ALWAYS SO KIND and did everything to fix my dentures. They listened to me and made sure I was happy. I can't say enough of how wonderful the dentists and staff are here. I can now smile with such confidence for the very first time in my entire life!! Worst office ever. They do not care about you and your needs , they do not care about your time, I was in the chair first time waiting for Doctor to show up for 40 minutes...Finally when he showed up he was not apologetic or anything like that , then finally took my upper denture impression, then left me there for another 20 minutes that lady can do 3 d , so they have state of the art equipment but not so good staff., I have to come 8 days later and denture that they made was so off I could not even speak, so they keep me hour and 15 minutes again and told me to come again in 8 days or so so I went there again this week and again they make something that looks like denture but they did not fit. And every time I was driving all the way from Salisbury, loosing time and gasoline for what. And they still play like I am there because of them not they are there because of us (patients)....Highly NOT RECOMENDABLE.. read more

They added a tooth to a partial in April. The tooth fell out in 6 months. I went back to have them repair the partial. They charged me $258 to repair it. Needles to say I was very upset to pay for their poor craftsmanship I will not go back. read more

Aspen Dental in Concord NC is one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I have been trying to get a upper denture that fits since 2/14/23. After 9 visits I finally asked for my money back in beginning of June. They agreed that I have every reason to be unsatisfied and had me sign paperwork requesting a full refund and return of the lousy upper denture I have from them. It is now 8/4/23 and after two visits with the Office manager, I have yet to receive a credit for the dental insurance they billed my Humana Dental for. I am ready to call the ADA on them and if I have to, take them to court. Humana is absolutely no help in helping me get the credit. I can't go to another dentist until I get that money put back into my dental insurance account. I am so beyond frustrated with Aspen Dental. read more

Gave 1 star because 0 is not an option. As someone else stated, "an absolute administrative nightmare." My daughter broke one of her front teeth, work related injury. Went to Aspen (Concord, NC), explained looking to go through Workman's Comp. At no point were we told that they didn't accept W.C. simply that I would have to put down a deposit of $1000 to start process of repair. I put down the $1000, receptionist even filled out the paperwork for my daughter's job to submit claim with their information. On the 3rd visit we were finally told they didn't accept WC, "that it was just too much of a hassle, and that I would have to pay entire treatment plan up front and be reimbursed by WC." I would have never given them the deposit had I been made aware of this at the first visit. I would have proceeded to do further research finding an office accepting WC as payment. Feel completely ripped off/scammed. Either front desk rep is unaware of office practices or intentionally misleading. Based on previous reviews, decided not to go back and throw away $3000 more on them and risk being unsatisfied with their work. Prefer to start over with honest, knowledgeable practice. This place is an ADMINISTRATIVE NIGHTMARE! My son was fitted for his Invisalign in April, never came in. Firat they said it was lost then that it was never sent cause the fitting was unreadable. Now fast forward to today June 19th and lost again and not even a call to say so, He drove all the way there to say appt was cancelled with NO notification. Office manager reciting her resume to me for the second time that she just started there, trying ro separate herself from the buffoonery. Prescription for my wife was also fowarded to the wrong pharmacy as well. We will be looking for a new place! read more

When scheduling my first appointment for a cleaning, no one informed me the first appointment would only be for scans and X-rays, which took an hour, and I had to take off work again to come back for an actual cleaning. The dentist then told me I had 6 cavities yet 2 years ago I had none and none of them were bad enough to cause pain yet. The print out of my scheduled services included hidden charges that my insurance didn't cover and weren't necessary but I didn't have a choice in electing to include them- I was simply charged until I noticed and asked for removal (the electric toothbrush, oral rinse on each side, $19 per side, extra "necessary" cleanings, etc). The hygienist told me it was my choice if I wanted the rinse when I asked but I had already paid it at that point. I had to wait 30+ minutes between my cleaning and fillings even though my appointments were back to back and wasn't seen until I asked for someone to check on if they'd take me back soon. The dentist and staff were very nice but he didn't file my teeth back down correctly after 3 fillings on one side so I had to come back due to jaw pain, ear popping, etc. He gladly filed them down and said it happens sometimes because of being numb- understandable. They felt okay when leaving but now my entire mouth feels off. I'm not sure if it's because it was uneven for 2 weeks and now is readjusting but I'll be going somewhere else in the future and wish I hadn't come to Aspen for my dental needs. I took my wife to this office last year to get 3 teeth extracted and a partial which cost over $1500. We went back a few weeks ago to fit her permanent partial and she needed another tooth extracted. This cost another $300 for the extraction and adding the tooth to her temporary partial.....they also informed me that when she finally gets her permanent one it will be another $800. The dentist informed me that when he extracted the tooth the membrane to her sinus cavity was exposed and he put a bone graft in to cover it. After a weekend of extreme pain, swelling, and discharge I took her back last Monday. He removed the graft, cleaned out the socket, put mesh in and stitched it back up. Finally put her on antibiotics and more pain meds and sent us on our way. Over a week later it's getting worse again and they say she needs to see their oral surgeon......IN 2 WEEKS!, and that I have to pay another $180 up front for his "consultation fee" ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE......all follow up care for a procedure should be included in the original fee. All they did was call in more antibiotics......won't even let me bring her in to check what's going on. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY.....NOT PATIENT CARE! read more

I went to Aspen dental for the first time, and yes it takes a few extra minutes to take an X-ray but the assistant i talked to was extremely pleasant as well as the dentist. they made going to the dentist a decent time, not like every other i've been to where i dread it ever time. Do yourself a favor and go to a real dentist office. Before I even saw a dentist, the assistant took nearly 20 minutes to get x-rays because she didn't know what she was doing (and even said so). The doctor I saw here was fresh out of school and did not know the difference between a cavity and a filling by looking at x-rays. He tried to tell me I had to have two root canals and two crowns totaling over $4,000 in work. I went to a REAL dentist and all they had to do was replace my old filling for $80.
