    Just like every Aspen Dental, they screw up the billing, can be stingy on what insurance to take and can prove to be very unprofessional.

They are both direct, honest and positive. I have a long road of dental work ahead of me and I am not at all hesitant to trust the doctors at Newmarket. But the reason I'm writing today is this: I had a glitch with my HSA account and it wasn't processing my payments correctly, which impacted my paying Newmarket. I had the HSA issue resolved and didn't realize the monthly payments were still going on the Amex card I had given them in the interim. I just called the office, as I wanted to get a payment I had made earlier this week put on the HSA: 30% is 30%, right? After being told the standard line about not being able to change the payment method I asked for the office manager. I was very pleased to have the office manager, Naomi, come on and begin to work out solutions. She looked internally and thought she found a solution. And she was cordial and pleasant the entire time. In the end, her fix didn't work because of the 24 policy from their payment processing company. I didn't get want I wanted but I still came away feeling like I was heard. And I was there on the line so I know Naomi was making every effort possible on my behalf. And I'm 3,000 miles away so it matters to me that there is someone in this office who is looking after our care and interests. I'm very glad I called. And now I can't recommend the office staff, and more specifically Naomi, more whole heartedly.

    I had a terrible experience…read more The woman who was doing the X-Ray was very rude and I think the dentist just wants to subject you to a lot of procedures to make you pay more. I'm not white, I think I was also treated poorly because of that. Racism is everywhere. I tried to stop her and explain that I was feeling very uncomfortable, she kept on saying she knows her job. I had to pull the x-ray out of my mouth because I thought I was going to throw up. I asked her how many shots she needs to take, she sort of avoided my question and said there are still so many. I rephrased my question, and said I'm asking about the exact number because I'm feeling very uncomfortable, and I may not want to continue this procedure. Then she said she still needs to take 22 (which is A LOT. I'm still trying to understand what the standard procedure is). Then I told her that I don't want to continue. I thanked her and said she was doing great, and that Im leaving because I was feeling nauseous. Her reaction was very rude ("You cant just leave! You need to see the dentist!"). The dentist came and said he isn't going to change the standard procedure for me. "What are you going to do if you got pain again?" he asked, and I felt like he was trying to convince me to get the treatment, making it sound like it was my only option. Go to a dentist who actually cares about your comfort and health, and who isn't treating people poorly because of their skin color or accent.
