I scheduled an emergency appointment for today at 9:30am, because I have a broken tooth LITERALLY hanging on for dear life. I gave all my personal and insurance info on their website. When I arrive today, 20 mins early for my appt, I'm told they can't verify insurance coverage. So I would have to pay cash and all they can do today is an X-ray and consultation for what will need to be done at an appt..ON A WEEKDAY..POSSIBLY MORE THAN A MONTH OUT?!?! WHAT!?!? The receptionist says he only has a skeleton crew. So even if I paid out of pocket, he has no one to perform any procedures other than the x-ray and consultation?!?! WHY THE HELL ARE YOU EVEN OPEN THEN?!?! My tooth is literally hanging on 'by a thread'. I cannot eat anything and worry that with each drink of water I take, that the broken piece with come loose and I'll either choke on it or accidentally swallow it and then worry about it slicing up my intestines on the way to sh!ting it out in a day or two. Why can't we give a NO STAR REVIEW?!?! This place doesn't deserve the 1 star I have to choose to submit my review!!! read more

Had my made here. Always extra cost they don't tell you about. Cheap products that don't hold up. Had a tooth cup while eating. First they told me it was covered under warranty. Then they called me back said it would be $125. Then called me back again and said I would have to be seen again with an exam fee. I have dentures what are they going to exam? Just more ways to charge you for something you don't need. I have insurance but it's the fact I need this fixed and don't need to be delayed over them wanting to charge me more. Stay awake from these quacks. read more

If zero stars was an option, that's what I would give this place. Had a filling fall out that was causing severe pain. Couldn't get into my regular dentist so I went here. They charged me almost $500, gave me some "special" toothpaste and mouthwash and sent me home. Still in pain. Went back the next day, they just cleaned my mouth and told me they couldn't do the filling because of my blood pressure. Went back again, they filled the wrong tooth! Was in this office 6 times, wasted hours of my life just sitting and waiting, told to leave and come back, never saw the same dentist once, and now I'm told I need to spend another $1200 for a root canal. Why couldn't they have told me that 2 months ago when I originally went in for tooth pain?! Got my EOB from my dental insurance only to find out they overcharged me over $200 and didn't even bill insurance for everything! This place is the most unorganized, unprofessional place I've ever been. At least the girls in the front are nice. read more

I went to the one on Outerloop, and I have early periodontal disease, and they wanted to charge me 7,199.00 for a lot of things, and I am talking about things that was not going to happen. They also wanted to charge me for 4 extractions, when I was only supposed to get 2 extractions. I am on a fixed income. I was not planning on paying them that much money, I just don't have that kind of money. I went back a week later to get my 2 teeth pulled, but when I got there, they said that their system went down, and they said that they could not pull my teeth at that time. I has been going on 2 weeks, and they said that their system is Only partially working. I already paid over 300.00 to get those 2 teeth pulled. I told them that I wanted the money to be put back on my credit cards. But they keep making excuses. I am looking for a different dentist to go too. I already don't trust dentists. They are not a good place to go, from my experience. read more

My husband went in for an exam and was diagnosed with Peridontal disease. We have fantastic insurance but they wanted to charge us for some crazy Arestin treatment on every single tooth that is not covered but insurance. They also failed to mention any of the other more affordable treatment options. They proceeded to attempt to get my husband to finance the astronomical treatment plan of $3500 dollars, telling him they won't run his credit. WRONG!! We followed up with another dentist for a second opinion and realized how much they were trying to take advantage of us. Beware of Aspen, they are trying to just take your money and disguise it in a friendly manner of saying they want to help you. read more

Check to see if they are in network before making an appointment. They do not take anthem/liberty or aetna! Would have been nice if the person who told me they would call me back would have done so. Now I have to be in pain longer and find another dentist. read more

Total rip off. I had to pay up front for the services. I got over charged $297.50 and they are telling me I got a $162 credit. I looked at my dental claims and I am owed $297.50. So I will be contacting my attorney. I don't have time for this. Don't recommend them at all. They gave me a toothbrush. I'm thinking it's free. They never said they was charging me for this!!! $135 for a toothbrush!!! No one verbally said to me it wasn't free!!! But it was on my bill statement. I would of told them to keep that dam brush!!! read more

A very inconvient dental office. Communication is not very professional and they don't send follow up reminders. They charge for services without discussing them with the patient, such as shining a flashlight in your mouth for a dental cancer screening. I called and left a message with the office manager and have yet to hear back. It seems being a large dental organization isn't the way to go. I will go independent from here on out! read more

I just wanted to let everyone know who is in need of a GREAT DENTIST your look is now over I have been to several supposedly Great dentist who cost me a lot of money and it was not worth it until I found these WONDERFUL group of people who you can tell each and everyone of them LOVE what they do I have to say that I actually got the pleasure to meet the BEST dentist in the world her name is Dr.Giles she is extremely kind,caring and so compassionate she always makes sure she answer any and all concerns you might have and talks to you in a way to make sure you understand everything and the staff who work there are all so friendly and the happiest group of people I have ever been around I had dental implants from another dentist here in Louisville and have had 3 sets of teeth made and every time I got the new set it was more and more painful but I just got my new set and they are so comfortable no pain at all and so BEAUTIFUL I LOVE my new teeth if anyone is in need of a GREAT Dentist your look is over please check these wonderful group of people out you will be EXTREMELY HAPPY I know I am. read more

Made an appointment to have a tooth fixed as I had a tooth ache. I was never told when I made the appointment that this would not be taken care of on the first appointment. Should have walked out when I was waiting for 30 minutes past my appointment time listening to two different people be told that they owe more money and they were previously told they paid in full. When I finally was called back I had Xrays done which is not unusual when going in to have a tooth fixed. I was taken to an exam room where I was told that the dentist and hygienist would be in. I then told them I didn't need to see the hygienist that I needed my tooth fixed. I was told that this was protocol on the first appointment. I waited for almost a half hour before the dentist came in. She stated my filling had come out which I already knew. I asked her if she was going to fix it and she said that the hygienist had to examine me first. Again I stated that I wasn't there for that that I wanted my tooth fixed. After waiting again for over 30 minutes the hygienist came in and did the exam. Of course she said I needed treatment. I asked the cost and she said someone would go over that with me. I again asked if my tooth was going to be fixed and she stated she would let the dentist know she was done with my exam. After waiting again for 45 minutes a young lady came in and said for me to come up front to discuss my treatment plan. I asked her if I was going to get my tooth fixed and she said no. I was so upset I jerked the thing off my neck and left the office. I went across the street to Immediadent and they got me right in and fixed my tooth. My mother-in-law had an appointment at Aspen Dental the same morning as I was there and she told me the same thing happened to her. She had gone in due to her cap falling off of her tooth and after being there from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. they told her they wouldn't fix her tooth unless she signed a $6,000.00 treatment plan. She walked out also!! I have filed a report with the Better Business Bureau. I understand that they have a Protocol to go through but when a patient repeatedly asks if they are going to have a tooth fixed that is hurting and they know good and well they aren't going to fix it they should have the courtesy to let the patient know that before making the appointment and wasting 2 1/2 hours!!! read more

I had serious dental issues when I first came to this office one week ago. In one week, they were able to help me, and give me a beautiful smile. Every single person that I dealt with there was very kind , and very professional. Ben was the person that worked on my teeth. He did an outstanding job. The staff are very nice, however- I came in for the first time to get a quote to have a crown put on a molar. Now mind you, although the tooth I am talking about does have a big filling, I am not in any pain, the tooth is not cracked or any problems. I only wanted to protect since I am getting older (trying to avoid a cracked tooth/root canal). After getting my x-rays, the tech tried to get me to purchase a 30 second in house mouth wash that they do. Supposedly it shows if you have cancer. I declined- Then in came the Hygienist. She proceeded to tell me that my teeth look great, that she can tell I take good care of my teeth. As she is looking in my mouth she compliments me over and over-not that that is a bad thing. Well what do you know. She says my gums are infected, and I have gum disease. So she starts in on a speech about a non invasive procedure they do that will clean out all my gums and then they put antibiotics inside under the tooth and that it would be a good idea and then I should continue a treatment plan for a few months. I told her that I am sure it was not covered by my insurance and that I would not be able to afford it. She said not to worry because our office manager will be sitting down with me to work out a payment plan. She said because my gum lines are receding it is very important to follow through with that. I told her my gums are like that from the bad habit of brushing way too hard and using a tooth brush that is to rough. (I have been told that by other Dentist in the past). She said no, it has to do with genetics. Now comes in the actual dentist. Mind you my appointment was at 6:00 in the evening, it is now 7:30. She proceeds to tell my how great my teeth are and so on. She asked me, "You brush really hard don't you?" I said yes, I always have . She said, " I can tell by your gum lines" I then told her, "wait, your Hygienist told me completely opposite".(I can tell she didn't take that well by the look on her face.) she then starts her sales pitch about an Oral B toothbrush with a spinning head that she highly recommended. I asked her how much. Only $149.99. I said, no Thanks, Il ask for it for Christmas. She says, don't worry, we can have you set up a payment plan... Last but not least- I am then walked into the Office Managers room. She has all of my quotes put together. Showing what insurance pays and how much I would owe... Yup they wanted almost $1800.00. I asked her to just tell me my out of pocket for the crown, which is the only reason I came in for. She said, " It doesn't matter, you have to have the procedure for your gums done before they can do a new crown." OK, so I have to pay $1800.00 after insurance to do a bunch of procedures recommended by your staff in order to do what I came in for?! She said Yes. I said ok, I will discuss this with my husband. She tried and tried to push me to apply for Care Credit and Genesis Credit to make a payment arrangements. I again declined. With that being said... what I came in for was not addressed. they only wanted my money. I wasted almost 3 hours of my life I will never back- It was all about money, money, money. They didn't care about what I wanted. read more
