A dentist here filled a cavity on the cusp of my tooth without fully excavating & disinfecting the decay. I trusted him but turns out, bc of his negligence, I now need a root canal. I've also come to learn the filled cavity needed a crown the whole time. My new dentist is reporting them to the ADA. Only go here if you want improper and incomplete treatment for $$$$. read more

Have been going to the Mt.Pleasant, SC location for over a year. It's convenient and efficient, but I recently discovered QUESTIONABLE BILLING PRACTICES where they "pre-bill" you for services but don't automatically refund your money back if your insurance covers part/all of it. It just sits in your account there as a credit. I asked for my statement and found out I had several hundred dollars just sitting there. It took several phone calls over several weeks to finally get all of my money back. I've had fine service there and have always been able to get appointments easily but this billing practice just doesn't sit right with me. If you do go here, please ask about for your statement and check for any credits. read more

I called ahead to this location after leaving another branch that was more concerned about the long plan and wouldn't take immediate action for the pain i was having in the present. They not only fit me in, took care to make sure i was probably numbed up. They were warm and welcoming and also in high spirits which made for a much more pleasant experience. I also was able to go over billing of future care and was given an answer to all of my questions with patience. I would recommend them 10/10 times. read more

If I could leave less than one star I would. They did some dental work, charged me over $1,000, BUT LEFT A HOLE IN MY TOOTH WITH THE ROOT EXPOSED. And every time I have tried to call them about it to fix it, they hang the phone up on me. HORRIBLE. I am LIVID. It's has been 6 months of me calling with ZERO answers. Will let you make an appointment for a teeth cleaning but once you get there tell you "you have to have X-rays to be able to get the teeth cleaning. We'll let you know if they have time to clean your teeth, if not you have to make another appointment" Very unclear procedures, rude staff, and horrible reviews. read more

BEWARE Aspen Dental is a Corporate Business Hustle. I made an appointment for my 2o year daughter went to get her teeth cleaned while she was home from college. They would not clean her teeth but said she had gingivitis and a cavity that needed to be treated first. They also told her she needed all her wisdom teeth pulled. Wanted he to say yes to a payment plan to get started. They pull you into a room and try to get you to to sign up for procedures. She left without not getting her teeth cleaned. I called them that day shocked that they refused to clean her teeth and confirmed with Rory office manager that they refuse to clean her face until gingivitis was treated which would take 2 visits! My daughter went to another dentist which confirmed she did NOT have any gingivitis whatsoever and NO Cavity. She asked them to look for that. They also said don't get your wisdom teeth pulled unless they start bothering you. BEWARE....DONT GO! read more

I couldn't recommend this office more! I needed a lot of work done and the whole staff was friendly, understanding, and accommodating. Dr. Iulo is a very positive, encouraging, and non-judgmental physician who will calm your fears by walking you through the process. I drive over two hours to see this doctor because he is worth the drive. If you need a lot of work done (or small!) I highly suggest you give this office a visit. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE in Mount Pleasant, SC (near Lowe's)! The administrative staff especially the office manager, Michael, clearly has no experience dealing with customers and they are not customer service oriented. Michael is rude to customers and extremely short-sighted. Their goal is to nickel and dime you by performing services w/o your knowledge even after you ask NOT to perform services on numerous occasions (i.e., adding fluoride treatment @$48 ...during what should be the fully covered insurance preventive service)! They appear very disorganized and given this, I fear they will make more severe mistakes with my dental care. RUN from this office!! read more

I've been here twice, and both experiences were TERRIBLE. They are unable to keep track of simple details, and they are poor communicators when it comes to explaining policies and procedures. I went here for a simple cleaning and was told that I had 2 cavities. I was surprised because I never felt any pain. When they created the "treatment plan" they wanted to charge me $1000 for 4 cavity fillings, 2 regular and 2 white. I left because they changed the cavities I had from 2 to 4. I just got a second opinion and the dentist said I don't have a single cavity. I've never had one in my life, and this place is a complete scam. They wanted to drill perfectly good teeth just to make money. Avoid. read more

My mother has been through h€ll and back with this dentist regarding her dentures. She can't chew her food, her gums are ruined, she's lost 30 lbs and she's too embarrassed to go out in public. Worst experience EVER! The rude dentist won't see her or talk to her and when we asked for our money back they said she had to turn in the dentures first. read more
