I'm not sure how I feel about this place. They changed dentist recently, and she is super nice. I had a tooth pulled recently and it went pretty well, but she told me she was going to write a script for an antibiotic, but it never got called in, even after I talked to them a couple days later and reminded them. Twice they've referred me to another clinics to get root canals, and both times I ended up spending $2-300 in x-ray fees to be told those teeth are not saveable. While I'm not happy about these things, my cleanings and extractions I've had here were overall positive experiences. read more

Everyone in the office I encountered were kind and professional. Dr. Dr. Huong. Nguyễn was my dentist and she was super thorough and made me feel at ease. Jenny was my hygienist and she made the whole process very easy and I felt confident that all of my concerns had been addressed during my visit. Portia waited on me, contacted my insurance and set it up for me to get the best bridge a snaggle tooth girl can have. On Monday, August 1st, 2022, I went to Gentle Dental Edmond, for a loose tooth with a growing abscess. I was treated by Dr. Rajju Gupta. She was an Angel of mercy. She thoroughly explained my predicament and the possible treatment options. We decided that extraction of the tooth was the best option. She then proceeded with the treatment, and was as Gentle and Caring as anyone could ever be. It was very reassuring for her to talked me through the entire process - letting me know what to expect and inquiring about my comfort continuously - to the point where I remarked that I definitely came to the right place "Gentle Dental Edmond." I am from out of state, so I asked her if she would come back with me to NY to complete the process and work on the rest of my mouth! With such a gentle and caring temperament, under her care, I can't imagine any child being afraid of a dentist. Dr. Rajju Gupta thank you for the excellent care that you provided to me. Don't take your kids here. My mom took me here and we went for a while and they never did very well on my teeth. We kept going anyways and then they said I have a tongue tie. We got it looked at professionally by multiple certified dental experts, and you will never guess what they said. I dont have a tongue tie, and they even did a test to prove so. The doctor at Gental Dental tried to convince my mom to pay thousands of dollars to "fix" it when there wasn't a problem. When my mom told the dentist, she still tried to convince her to pat for the procedure. Dont go here. These aren't good dentists and they will purposely suck your money out of you. *****BUYER BEWARE***** Do not visit this dentist unless you want to be charged in triplicate for a service performed once (or not at all). They are dishonest con artists. They cause more problems than they fix. They admitted to charging me in triplicate and said they'd fix the bill. When I received the new bill, nothing had changed. They admitted to charging me for services I didn't receive and said they'd fix it. They still haven't. Several conversations later, after getting nowhere with the morons who run this place, I finally filed a complaint with the insurance company stating that they're fraudulently billing me and just trying to get the insurance to pay out. The insurance claims people said that the dentist office didn't respond to their inquiry for more info- which speaks volumes. My teeth still aren't back to normal. I went in for the repair of one filling and they told me I needed several more. My teeth haven't been the same since then. I can't eat hard things without pain now. They have even redone a filling they messed up and still didn't get it right. They also messed up my father in law's teeth. They did a crown for him and it fell off 2 days after installation. I wish I could give 0 stars. This was the worst experience I have ever had. The staff was rude and condescending and did not seem to know what they were doing. The woman who did my cleaning, I think her name was Shelby, was careless and stabbed me many times and when I would react to the pain she would push the needle harder. I have never been so upset after a dentist visit that I cried upon leaving. My boyfriend was with me and almost said something to the staff multiple times. This experience ruined my entire day. Was recommended this place by a friend my first time being here it seemed nice but the lady taking my X-rays seemed like she had no clue what she was doing she didn't put the radiation vest on me at all while doing my X-rays and did most of my individual X-rays completely wrong and kept having to retake them. when they went over my treatment plan I was a lil taken back by the price due to me having 80/20 insurance. they were trying to charge me more for 2 crowns and charge my insurance less when my insurance covers 80% I had called back a few days later to cancel the crown appt the receptionist was very rude and condescending and told me she was too busy to give me new estimates for cheaper crowns unless i rescheduled the appt wouldnt even tell me if what they were charging was covered under my insurance or not she laughed at me and hung up in my face when I asked her if she could call me back soon with the estimates seems like this place is trying to scam ppl out of money recently went to another place aspen dental and they are very affordable and sweet please read the reviews on yelp those are the real ones not the fake ones on google read more

This was a very bad experience to say the least! After filling out 4 pages of documents, I was asked to prepay. My response was are you afraid I won't pay when leaving? I paid, I wish I hadn't. I was there to have my lower denture plate repaired. I was told I had to have an x-ray, my response was I could understand an impressions, but an x-ray? There x-ray machine rotates 360 degrees. I had made them aware of the fact that I had neck surgery earlier this year and that my neck was sensitive. After strapping me in the machine and my mouth stuffed, they asked me raise my head up further, I could not, which they could see. None the less, they started the machine which hit my shoulders and jerked my neck around, which was extremely painful. they continued stating the machine had to rotate. Finally going to the exam room the doctor on call lowered the seat back without notification, once again jerking my neck. I was told I really need new dentures, I responded that I was going out of town and that I only wanted a repair at this time. I asked how much that would be, and none of the three of them knew. They would be right back....33 minutes later I removed the bib, went to the reception area to find 4 people standing there, one of the phone. I told, you just don't understand, we merely...I interrupted saying that you are only here to interview, you do nothing and you know nothing! You will be hearing from me! I left. I can now understand why there was no one there but me, these folks need to close this business as they will hurt someone more than they hurt me. read more

This office is ridiculous...I've never had a problem with fillings in my life like this until now. First visit was a million xrays and discomfort doesn't even begin to describe, let alone wait time both in reception and in the dentist chair. Second visit was fillings on one side. After that, I was in EXCRUTIATING pain for the next 5 DAYS. I had to go in first thing one morning w/o an appt to get an adjustment it was that bad. Then, fourth visit was an additional adjustment (from a different dentist in the same office) and without even meeting me, he did a much better job than the other guy had done. I'm still having serious problems...I'll give this other guy one more chance then I'm moving on to a more professional office with skilled individuals. DO NOT GO HERE! I went here for almost 3 years and was never checked by an actual dentist. Once he finally checked my teeth he said I needed all my filling replaced and a crown. I only had one half of my mouth worked on and I couldn't use that side of my mouth to eat for months from the pain and sensitivity. They always tried to add extra charges to my cleaning and procedures and I always had to call my dental insurance to double check. I am now with a new dentist and they said 2 of the cavities that Gentle Dental said I had didn't exist. This is by far the worst dentist I have ever been to, and I have been to a lot of military dentist. I have had so many issues with a filling they insisted needed to be fixed. When I chew with that side of my mouth, it is extremely painful. The visit itself was unpleasant, it doesn't bother me to go to the dentist, but this one is horrible. Not only that, but I paid my part up front before the work was done and I month later received a bill for the same amount I had already paid! It seems double billing and over billing is a standard practice. My son went in today for a cleaning and now he has to have a root canal on a tooth that they previously filled a cavity on. The best part, while I was in the waiting room the office manager was going on and on about how her Christmas dinner with the family was a horrible experience and more information than I needed to know about her alcoholic son (door open, talking to the receptionist), all the while people were waiting to get checked in. Then she proceeds to have an argument with a concerned patient (door closed), don't worry I heard it all HIPAA and everything. To make this experience the office manager went back to talk to the dentist that was involved and begin to spew all of this information in front of my 16 year old son! Please get your charges in writing prior to having any type of services here!! My first trip was pleasant, they printed out a charge sheet for some items I needed to take care of. When I arrived for my next appointment for a filling for $18 I was quoted a different amount ($52) and when I questioned it, the price was changed back to the original amount quoted ($18). When the dentist came in she asked if I wanted more than 1 filling taken care of so I said it depends..what would the price be? Then the office manager came in and proceeded to tell me that MY insurance plan had changed and the fillings are $52. She told me that even the one I had an appointment for, the one I had been quoted $18 for twice was going to be $52. I told her I didn't budget for that amount and she said she could bill me!!! Honestly, I am told a price twice and because of their mistake you are not going to honor your quote?!!! I would have been ok with paying $52 for any other service but stick to your word when you have told a customer twice and they are sitting in the chair!!! Probably the worst dentist office I have ever went to. I had 2 cavities and went to them to get them filled. The first visit was a complete exam, xrays, and treatment plan, and this visit took 2 hours. This visit was reasonable except for the time. I told them I need ed the cavity filled and they said they needed to clean my teeth first. So I got my teeth cleaned and got another appointment that was a long time out there in the future. In the mean time one of my cavities started hurting and I called them to get in quickly to get the pain dealt with so they gave me appointment. I then went in and they said they only had time to look at it not fill it. I said you have already looked at everything and I need this dealt with, and they said they did not allow enough time that day for it to be filled. I said there is no point to look at it again, and when I called I told you it hurt badly and that is what needs to be dealt with, as that is why I initially came in. The receptionist response was rude and told me that I had to deal with the time limit. I said what do you think is reasonable when a person calls in with a massive tooth ache? I told her anyone would expect to get that dealt with, and they were the ones who scheduled the time or lack of in response to my tooth hurting. I said any reasonable person should expect the hurting tooth to be dealt with, not to come in and have it looked at again while not doing anything else. THE ONLY POINT TO LOOK AT IT AGAIN AND DO NOTHING COULD ONLY BE TO GET THE MAXIMUM CHARGES FOR A DOING NOTHING VISIT. This group is horrible, and treats people's oral issues in the order they want to provide the maximum amount of charge of money for them. They care only about how much money they can get off of you instead of building trust and dealing with an issue as big as a tooth that is killing them. DO NOT GO SEE THIS GROUP AS THEY ARE SHARKS AND HAVE VERY POOR PEOPLE SKILLS PLUS QUESTIONABLE JUDGEMENT. read more
