After expressing my anxiety and PTSD in tears over the phone with dentists prior to scheduling my appointment and was told it would be put in the notes and that i would be taken care of. I arrived and was taken back to get xrays. As I was standing in the machine the dental assistants/employees decided that was the OPPORTUNE TIME TO SET OFF CONFETTI BOMB POPPERS. I couldn't move, I had to throw up. I was in the middle of an anxiety attack and then they decided to joke about it sounding like an ACTIVE SHOOTER in the building. I told the dentists that I had ptsd.. and anxiety i had to run out of the building before we could go any further and as my husband was getting a referral for somewhere else the nurses were over heard by my husband saying "I am glad that terror is gone" . As I left the "receptionist" yelled "Have a great day" in the most condescending manner. I was having a breakdown. I threw up 2 times just trying to get through the xrays and your staff treated me like a fucking joke. I have NEVER been more mortified than having to leave that place the way I did because of your staffs behavior. They are a bunch of BULLIES. MY husband had to stay behind to get a referral to an oral surgeon in the area because I was in so much pain with a broken tooth. When I got to the oral surgeons office and relayed what happened to me the dental assistant informed me that MULTIPLE patients have expressed the same mortifying behavior from aspen dental (and reffered us to a different dentist in the area)Between not listening to thier patients to the downright attitudes they have. It is downright Harrasment. I used an Aspen dental 2 years ago in Florida, they were amazing. But I will NEVER recommend that office to my WORST ENEMY. read more

Dr. Tran and his office are so, so good. As I understand it, he is the owner but was away to another office, and the interim was challenging, but he took amazing care of me from the beginning. I had a challenge after with the previous administration but he's back now and had done an amazing work on my first veneer, I chipped another one (They're like 13 years old now) and he's doing it now. They took my insurance, and applied for credit both times, so basically got two venieers with no money down on the spot for me personally. Everyone was great and I'm glad he's back. Their work as I understand is also waranteed for 5 years as long as we maintain our cleanings, which isn't very common in Texas. His office Manager Timna also did an amazing job explaining everything to me, and everyone else was great too! read more

I Have insurance but they treat you like you don't l.. they are naming their own prices regardless of how much insurances you have !! They don't care!! HIPPA VIOLATION! Absolutely horrible how the front desk talked to my wife. I called them back because I was very upset at the way they treated my wife and spoke to her, before I even verified who she was, they stated her name and accused her of yelling. Basically, they gave away the name of one of their potential patients to someone they did not verify. My wife and I are both in the service industry, and are aware of our tone and demeanor when handling difficult situations. My wife wouldn't hurt a fly! The office managers give incorrect information they received from the insurance company. When the insurance company sends the coverage - the business manager will say "she is confused". WE had an appt. to have a tooth pulled and after sitting there for an hour after they took x-rays we learned that it could to be done. I understand procedures but if the right questions was asked within 30 minutes we should had all the reason why his tooth was not going to be extracted on the date of his appointment. We learned that they needed to talk with his doctor, can't do extracts on day of dialysis and we would have to come back. Of course we got the most important information they assume was the cost and that they would work with us. All good and fine but our problem was the tooth. I don't think I would go back after this visit. I believe it could have been handle differently and not had us there for over a hour and a half thinking the tooth would be extracted. read more

They told me they'd give me a goodie bag post wisdom teeth surgery with after care products like gauze and a syringe, but I only got an info sheet with 5 small pieces of gauze. I came back immediately after work the next day because their hours online said they were open, but they weren't, and I had to beg a lady from outside the door for the syringe they promised because I had stuff stuck in the holes, and she said they didn't have any and they didn't give them out (even though another lady told me they'd give me one prior) and to go to a pharmacy. I called 4 pharmacies nearby and it wasn't until I called a completely different Dental company that I got the right syringe. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. I only went there because my mom went there and she said the crown she got from them has been bothering her since she got it. I had an appointment on Nov 26 at 5:15. I called the next day to reconfirm my appointment. The office staff asked me to come in at 5:00. I told them I would be there as close to 5 as possible. I arrived at 5:02. The office staff told me I was 2 minutes late and that the dentist would NOT see me. When asked to speak to the dentist, she couldn't because she was too busy with a patient. I had 6 lower teeth pulled and they were supposed to make me a lower denture . I financed it through Care Credit with a guarantee that if I was not happy with the dentures I could get a refund. I was not happy at all and let them know. I returned the temporary as asked to and still have not received my refund. It has now been 5 1/2 months since I returned the temporary and was told I would get the refund. Find any other dentist .These people are not honest people to deal with. I have a broken denture (their website says emergency tooth care) but they are making me wait 7 days to get them fixed. Meanwhile they are slowly breaking more. I went up there and showed them and they still won't help me. The fracture is my fault but still, I won't have a denture by the time Monday comes. read more

I was so happy to find this office to treat my mothers dental issues. They are absolutely the nicest and easiest to work with that I could have hoped for. The staff is always sweet and even holds the door for her wheel chair. The dentist, Dr. Tran, is excellent and listens to her concerns and treats her very well. The office is clean and neat and not hectic like some of the offices these days. I would highly recommend this location and all the great staff to anyone looking for dental care. I have a fear of dentist and Aspen dental team were friendly and gentle which made me comfortable during my visit. I had a broken tooth and was forced to find a dentist. First off we did X-rays and cleaning. That went great! I also needed extractions so a denture was prepared for immediate use after extractions. However I had regular tooth extractions which turned into surgery on 1 tooth. I came home and followed care plan that was instructed for healing. A few days later I woke up with excruciating pain in the gum area where the surgery was done. It was a Thursday I called the office to let them know what was going on but I was told they couldn't see me until Monday morning because there was no available appointment. I was left to suffer in pain and discomfort for the whole weekend. I went in Monday with half my face swollen and still in pain. X-ray was taken, my dentist said he didn't see anything that can be causing the swelling and pain. I was given a new dose of antibiotics along with steroids and was sent home to heal. 10 days later most of the pain is gone but some swelling remain enough to make my face look lopsided. I waited another 3 days to give the antibiotics a fair chance after i completed the dose nthen I called Aspen (Texas City) I was told to come pick up a referral to go see a specialist a Masillofacial surgeon. I went to this new office the next day. This surgeon could not understand why I was sent to him. However he was great. He did his own X-ray he did not see anything wrong. In his professional opinion all i needed was more antibiotics from the start which would have helped me heal from the 2nd time i was given antibiotics. I was given 2 very strong antibiotics and steroids again to combine and clear up whatever was left lingering (in his words) that cost me $265 out of pocket. I wish i didnt have to go back to this particular office (Aspen Texas City) or see the dentist again that neglected me thru his care plan but i have a denture and needs adjustment often for the first few months. Whenever i call to schedule an appointment for an adjustment its when am in pain either my gum or my tongue is hurting which means i cant eat and im always push to a week or more to wait before i can go in for this quick procedure of adjustment. I hope and pray no ine else ever experiences this nightmare I've been thru over the course of 2 months. read more

I knew when I booked my initial appointment and they told me they could not do an exam and a cleaning in the same scheduled time that I should have looked for a different dentist. They also refused to accept the full mouth xrays that I had done one year prior; they insisted that they do their own. Red flags all over; I knew it was all about the money for them. I went anyway, and sure enough...they wanted to do three different appointments and include procedures that aren't covered by my insurance. My teeth are in excellent condition; I've been told that by every dentist I've visited. I don't need a "treatment plan"; I simply needed a cleaning. Just Google "Aspen Dental scam". Obviously, it's an issue or there wouldn't be information out there about what they try to pull. Don't do it; they will take advantage of you. read more
