Anette, the Dental Assistant, was efficient and ensured everything was handled smoothly, and quickly (to avoid causing any additional pain) Chris was amazing--he patiently explained all my treatment options and went above and beyond to get me a quick referral for a painful root canal. I couldn't believe how swiftly and effectively he managed it, and I was seen and treated in less than 24 hours. While the general staff was great, my experience with the finance department was extremely disappointing. I was quoted $7500 for a deep cleaning and four fillings, and when I expressed that this was beyond my budget, the representative became dismissive and seemed to suggest I leave. This interaction, coupled with the surprisingly high quote, left me questioning the necessity of the proposed treatments and feeling that I was being significantly overcharged. Buyer beware! I had a good experience in 2024 for dental work. In 2026, I scheduled a check-up and cleaning. Wow, did they try to fleece me. I was put on the fast track for a deep cleaning. They wouldn't take care of the two fillings they claimed I needed, nor would they just do a traditional cleaning. I left in a huff. When I tried to have the extensive X-rays sent to my new dentist, I never heard from them, and no X-rays were forwarded. Turns out they never charged my insurance for the X-rays, but did charge for a periodic exam. Not what I had scheduled! My new dentist had to start from scratch. Without any input from me, she commented on the health of my gums! No need for a deep cleaning, and she found three cavities and one filling missing some silver. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. I was quoted over 2k with my insurance to get care here and Misdiagnosed with periodontal disease so I went and got a second opinion no periodontal disease and two more cavities that this dentist did not catch and ended up only paying 300 out of pocket do not come here if you have insurance they do everything they can to max out your benefits and over charge with services you do not need... I am actually genuinely shocked at the unethical nature of this practice. read more

Staff was very attentive Financial were very aggressive. Estimated the recommended cost for everything to be over $7500!!! The said I needed a bone graft after removing a tooth. They charged $1200 for a 5 minute procedure! Come on , They bone was already exposed from the tooth extraction. They filed the insurance as dental which doesn't cover bone grafts and had to refill with Medicare. Avoid Aspen Dental. read more

A filling fell out, so I made an appt to get it replaced. Instead I got panoramic X-ray, all the bite wing X-rays, 3D scan of my teeth, measuring of gum pocket depth, a recommendation for extra deep cleaning by the hygienis (not mentioned by the Dentist at all), and recommendation for 6 fillings!! Dentist hardly looked at my teeth to determine this. The poorly done 3D scan was looked at. They are just trying to scam me; I am sure this is illegal. And now I have to go back to actually get the filling. 90 minute appt was just for scamming. And I had to pre-pay for the filling!! read more

After a great initial visit in February with staff that seemed compassionate and knowledgeable, I came to learn during a scheduled cleaning today that I had been given inaccurate information to take to my referral to a periodontist and had been presented with a treatment plan by the office manager for services that the hygienist and dentist did not actually want me to have done here (they wanted it done at the periodontist.) They also went ahead and charged me for all of this. I now have to wait another month for the cleaning and pay for an additional, unnecessary visit to the specialist. No one took accountability or was able to actually explain how this happened (the office manager who presented me with the treatment plan last month actually lied and said the dentist and hygienist had thought my condition would improve and they'd be able to do the cleaning after my initial consultation with a periodontist) and the only thing they offered me in terms of compensation was a refund for the $1,000 of services for which I not have charged. I want to give my business to medical providers that I can trust, and this is not one. read more

This Aspen Dental clinic is a business scam. They're entire business model promotes driving prices up the minute you get there. I'll explain.. *You get a free dental exam and x-rays as a new enrollee.. *HOWEVER- They will REQUIRE you receive a deep dental cleaning for $1700.00 per person, possibly per top or bottom the process is done in multiple visits.. *IF you do not receive this cleaning service ASPEN DENTAL will refuse you as a patient and they will not work further on you. *SO THE LESSON HERE IS..IF YOU HAVE DENTAL INSURANCE AND YOU RECEIVE CLEANINGS EVERY 6 MONTHS LIKE EVERYONE I LNOW YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO DO THIS HERE BECAUSE ASPEN DOES NOT DO THIS. *I sat down afterwards and confirmed this with the office manager. *YOUR STARTING AT A NEW DENTIST'S OFFICE AND YOUR ALREADY $2000 ÷ IN DEBT... Oh my gosh these people are out of control! The front desk staff are inconsiderate and have attitudes. They have a really bad centralized scheduling system that is not in close contact with the actual facilities. I had to give my insurance information multiple times, and then they call for questions at 8 AM on a Saturday morning. RUDE. I will say the dental assistant was friendly and the facility has modern equipment. The only pluses in this entire experience. Something bordering on fraud is happening here and I may report them to the Arizona Dental Association. They overcharge like crazy and find things that need fixing that dont't exist at 3 other dentists! I have invested a lot of money in my mouth and smile. From braces to cosmetic procedures. Perhaps this is why they thought they could stick it to me? I go every 4 months for cleaning to stay on top of the health of my mouth. I chose Aspen when my usual cleaning place closed to quarantine and still do not have a full staff and are scheduling way out. In February I went to a private out of network dentist as it was a necessity. I visited Aspen in June. Was given an estimate for cleaning of close to 300$! Because supposedly there are issues and needs special cleaning? And they refused to do a regular cleaning because they said it was against the law! Ohhh I'm going to give them the law alright. So I left saddened to hear of my "deep pocket" (that I have never, and FACT CHECK, still do not have) I then went to nearby Gentle Dental was greeted by a friendly and helpful staff and was quickly seen that week. Guess what? No pockets! Will have cleaning with them next week. read more

Dentist and all staff were professional and friendly They explained everything thoroughly and answered all questions we had. Terrible experience. Sales instead of service. I should have known something was wrong when they wouldn't schedule a cleaning until I saw the dentist. That's never happened before. The X-ray tech tried to sell me on their electric toothbrush and mouth cancer exam. No history of mouth cancer in my family, non-smoker and no symptoms. They recommended a periodontal cleaning which I've had before. It didn't come as surprise but price sure did. Over $3000 for about 4 hours of work. I didn't pay anything close to that before. I was recommended to take my daughter for her braces to Dr Leo. I Can honestly say I am more than happy with the decision to go with him and his staff. We always felt welcome and safe in the office. Dr Leo was thoughtful and thorough in ensuring that my daughters teeth would be well taken care of. He explained to her in a way she would understand and followed through with the procedures explaining what he was seeing in a way that she would understand the whole time. I hadn't seen a dentist in years due to a horrible experience I've had previous. Due to me not going In years I had to have a serious deep scale cleaning which just the thought horrified me! I have never had such a pleasant experience! Carla was absolutely amazing my mouth feels great, I was comfortable the entire time, the staff is great, excellent customer service and they gave me a few good laughs. I recommend this location from my personal experience this is my dentist office from here on out. They have great payment plans fast friendly reliable service. Would have given more stars if I could! This place is a joke! The dentist comes in to tell me I need 4 quad scaling and root planing without ever even picking up a tool or ever looking in my mouth! I am a twice a day brusher and daily flosser And used to be a dental hygienist. It is poor practice to not even examine a persons mouth, gum tissues, plaque/tartar. They couldn't show me any calculus/tartar under the gums that would merit a deep cleaning. It's all about the money, not the patients at this practice. Don't waste you time. Chad at the front desk is very sweet, and helped walk me through the cost of the dental work and working with my insurance. Sydney, one of their assistants, is awesome awesome awesome at her job. Went in to have a wisdom tooth pulled out. I still had pain while they worked on it. So they stopped and said I had to go to a oral surgeon to get it taken out. After they had broken a piece off. I told them I needed that tooth out and they called some of there surgeons but couldn't get me in for another 9 days. They told me to go ahead and look for a oral surgeon myself instead of helping look for another one that could attend me the same day. Worst experience ever with place. read more

Aspen Dental deserves 5 stars and not the 2.5 stars that are shown. Everyone was so amazing and quick to respond when I was told that I needed a root canal. I am from Miami and came to work here in Tucson, so everything is new and unknown for me. In less than 4 hours I had checked in with Becky, x-rays taken with Dulce, consult for my toothache with Dr. Madril and Alma (office manager), and had emergency root canal with Dr. Gardner and Ariel by his side. They took care of me and my pain and were so gentle about it all. They explained every step of the process and followed the cleaning guidelines to the T. Everything was clean and spacious. They even had a follow up call to make sure I was feeling better. Highly recommend coming here for any dental needs. Thank you for everything. read more

I had been in need of dental work for quite a while. I spent several months trying to investigate where to go. I visited several offices in town and finally decided to give up and take a leap of faith and hope. Aspen Dental on Irvington was close to home and I was really frustrated and nervous. I thank God I found this office. Starting with the call to make the appointment and through about five visits they were wonderful. They were always professional. They were always very caring. Every concern I had I asked about and they went above and beyond to explain until they were sure I understood and was satisfied. Their team work, their communication, was fantastic.
