I broke a tooth, called for an appointment and they were able to see me the SAME DAY! I arrived and spent less than 5 minutes in the waiting room. Exam, X-ray and consultation all completed in less than an hour. Then scheduled the repair work to be done the very next day. Arrived the following day, no waiting in the waiting room. The filling was done without ANY pain, in and out in 45 minutes. I am 67 years old. This was probably THE BEST and easiest dental experience I have ever had. Dr. Julia Drabs and her assistant Luz were amazing! The staff, Michelle and Tifany, so helpful and friendly. EVERYONE was upbeat cheerful, thorough and professional. I would highly recommended choosing Dr. Julia and her staff!

Had toothache, so, X-ray, picking, poking at teeth diagnosis; needed a root canal and a crown. Instead of handling it themselves I was sent to a specialist who then took x-rays, picked and poked, diagnosis; tooth is fine! Even took special "around the head" x-ray. Ttl visit cost around $450 Sent Pueblo a copy of invoice and even spoke with office mgr about misdiagnoses and/or reimbursement or some sort of compensation. I'm easy. She told me something could be done and would take care of it at the follow up app. But, No go! Julia Drabbs, dnst, had nothing to say. Remained hidden, had office mgr state that " I could no longer trust her" and gave me a general release form. No comment, kept repeating statement like a robot. No apologies ,no reimbursement, no contact. What a drama queen(s)... Thus the 1 star. TM

He is patient and explains things very well. He is caring and considerate when working on my teeth. I've had checkups, cleaning, crowns, a dental implant and a bridge done there. They have an emergency number if you have a problem over the weekend or when they are closed. They aren't afraid to refer you for care if you need something they don't do. On the day of my scheduled dental work I was fully informed of each step of the procedure, first by the Hygienist, and then by Dr. Wolf himself. The only pain I felt was that of the injection of an anesthetic, which was not bad at all. From there the procedure was fast and easy. Dr. Mitchell made that simple -- he not only has excellent depth in general and aesthetic dentistry but is also just an incredibly nice person. I'm someone who experiences major anxiety in the chair, and I've found Dr. Mitchell's easygoing demeanor a huge relief. I also appreciate that the hygienist is extremely respectful and patient-focused. For instance, I'd had my last bitewings eleven months before, and before my arrival, she had noticed that and double-checked with my insurance to ensure I was eligible, but more important, she also asked me if I would prefer to have them a little early or wait until my next visit. It's completely refreshing to have the staff ask what the patient wants, instead of trying to push services or products. These people had a "working" lunch and locked their patients out of the office in 102° heat while the dentist was on vacation. I was also told that they expected payment upfront for the cleaning because they didn't have pre-authorization they did not offer me a payment plan. I would never go to this office if I were you.

After searching through providers for my insurance, I came across Southern Arizona Endodontics, and I'm so glad I did. Making the appointment was easy, even without having a referral. I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day, lucky me. The front desk staff were sweet and moved me through after filling out paperwork. After being taken to the back and having X-rays done, I met my dentist, Dr. Funk. Dr. Funk let me know I hadn't chipped my tooth, instead, I cracked it and would need to either pull it or get a root canal. I opted for the root canal and he and his tech searched for a spot in his schedule. Dr. Funk offered to squeeze me in the same day for the root canal after not finding space in his upcoming schedule. Of course, I took it and Dr. Funk took care of me. Everything was explained to me, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. He even showed me before and after my X-rays of what was done. I loved my experience. I'm not one to shy away from the dentist and I would recommend Southern Arizona Endodontics to anyone unlucky enough to need a root canal done.
