I discovered Dr. Baird's office days after the doctor's office opened I believe sometime in 2001. The office looks much like it did 10 years ago when it was brand new as it is impeccably maintained, super clean & the equipment is still state-of-the-art. This is not the dentist office you grew up with to say the least. I look forward to my dental visits both with the staff at check-in & Val and Dr. Baird with the care in the back. My teeth are in tip top shape and routine care is always a fun experience due to their care provided and knowledge shared on oral care between the 6 month visits. After 10 going on 11 years of being a patient I will only trust Dr. Baird & Val to care for my teeth for many years to come. (Kid friendly too!) Do you look forward to going to the dentist? I do. I stopped by on the way home from the library. I had some questions the receptionist couldn't answer. She told me the office manager could help me but was out to lunch. I left my full name & phone#, the receptionist said the manager would call me. No call yesterday or today. That's rude & tells me this is not a business that i would trust with my teeth. read more

First of all, I was a loyal client of Silverbell dental for 17 years. During a cleaning, my gums were nicked. A couple days later, after my jaw had swollen and I could feel some blockage when swallowing,I went to first urgent care which sent me to the er. Cat scan. It was an infection of the soft tissue. The charges came to over 1.5k. I contacted silverbell and asked them to participate. Accidents happen but one needs to be accountable. while they did pay, they fired me as a client. Hello possible patrons of this practice. BEWARE! If you have an immediate need for an appointment, you're sent off to another place that 1) ONLY does root canals and 2) doesn't take your insurance. Amazing dental care! Super friendly staff! Dr. Kelly and Dr. Baird are super nice and good at helping you relax during procedures. If you're afraid of Dental visits they're really good at relieving that fear and helping you relax. Getting ahold of the office and scheduling/ canceling is really easy. The front desk is very professional and work really fast! Even though I live in California now, I still use Silverbell Dental as my dentist, visit them when ever I go back to Tucson. read more

My daughter and I have been going to Silverbell dental for now 5 years. I trust them fully. When we first went there, my daughter, then 3, would not open her mouth to show her teeth. Valerie got her to open her mouth and let her look. We have been having the best care at all times there. We have had cleanings, cavities and tooth extraction done there. All of it was efficient, professional and ethical. Dr Baird will not recommend something unless it is needed. He has perfect listening skills and bedside manner. I wanted to have my daughter checked out by an orthodontist. He gave me a referral to the best in town. It turns out it was a good move. In spite of his office not being listed as a "pediatric dentistry", I am pleased to have brought my child there when she was very small, and i would recommend it to any parents with small children. read more

I haven't been to the dentist in about 6 years and I was looking for a clinic that would be completely honest with me and would not rip me off. I was actually recommended to this office by a co-worker and it all worked out in the end. If you don't have insurance, they won't break your bank and are really fair. I just came in for an x-ray but they were actually able to take me in for a cleaning in the same day which was pretty convenient. The assistant, the dentist, and the hygienist were all wonderful people to work with and easy to talk to. The dentist was completely honest and did not try to give me anything i did not need and was helpful in general. They also gave me really cool goodies! I was talked into a simple cavity procedure that was unnecessary - I had no discomfort before and there was no evidence of a problem. This was the first procedure I have had done in 25 years. 10 days later I am at a 7 of 10 on pain in my upper jaw at the joint, and I am being told (by the dentist) I either have nerve damage that will last months (and might never recover) or a torn jaw muscle. Neither dentist expressed an semblance of understanding or concern - other than a concern for their practice. read more

I don't have insurance, but had a tooth that was getting more and more sensitive. I finally saved up some money and made an appointment at Silverbell Dental Care expecting to get a filling. The consultation and ex rays are free and they quoted me a range for fillings over the phone. I met the Dentist and he was super nice. He looked at my x-rays and, plesant surprise, there was nothing wrong with my teeth. The sensitivity was harmless. He even smoothed a bit off one tooth for free. I was super happy and my faith in dentistry was restored. I'm making an appointment for a (very affordable)) cleaning, too. read more

They are honest, courteous, professional, and offer very good prices (especially for people like me who don't have insurance). HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I am so disappointed. I was referred by a friend that knew how fearful I was of going to see a dentist but she knew how much pain I had been in. After verifying my insurance was accepted there I was grateful for the referral so I wouldn't have to go blindly to an office. I scheduled time off from work to go in for exam and X-rays. My appointment time was 2:00 pm. I arrived at 1:55, had pre filled out all the new patient paperwork ahead of time and even spoke with the receptionist that morning to verify insurance info. I was called back around 2:10 and had the X-rays done and explained to the hygienist how scared I was and where I had the most pain. She wrote everything down and left the room saying the doc would be in. 2:30, 2:45, 2:50... I'm sitting there shaking, nervous and cold. She peeked her head about 2:50 and said, just a few more minutes. By 3:10 I'd had it. Never saw a doctor and couldn't sit there anymore. Lost pay from work, am still in pain and was dismissed like I didn't matter. So angry because if patients come in late it is unacceptable. But a patient can sit and wait to see someone for over an hour past the appointment time? It's wrong. read more

Our family has gone to Silverbell Dental for 7-8 years. Dr. Baird is a very good dentist and his staff is very professional and competent. I have had 4 or 5 dentists over the course of my life, and Dr. Baird's office is the best I have had. He does not perform unnecessary procedures, and in my experience always takes a conservative approach, so as not to hit your pocketbook too hard. I highly recommend his practice. read more
