They wouldn't take care of the two fillings they claimed I needed, nor would they just do a traditional cleaning. I left in a huff. When I tried to have the extensive X-rays sent to my new dentist, I never heard from them, and no X-rays were forwarded. Turns out they never charged my insurance for the X-rays, but did charge for a periodic exam. Not what I had scheduled! My new dentist had to start from scratch. Without any input from me, she commented on the health of my gums! No need for a deep cleaning, and she found three cavities and one filling missing some silver.

Things have steadily gotten worse. Cleaning before last, the hygienist hurt me. After the cleaning, the dentist reviewed photos of work that she suggested be done. One photo showed a cut to my gum. It was plain as day. However, she covered for the hygienist and said it was a pixel flaw ... or something to that effect. I knew better. My wife's cleaning was terrible as well...terrible. Her hygienist hurt her too. And, it was a different hygienist! Though my last cleaning went very well with a different hygienist, they charged my wife a total of $109 for laser treatment (used to stop gum bleeding during the cleaning process). Not once has my wife ever been told that her gums bled (excessively) during cleaning. The front staff warn you at check in that if it's necessary, they'll use the treatment and that there is an additional charge. They're setting you up. We're never going back...

Horrible experience. We had a denture made for my two front teeth and the bottom tips of the teeth…read morecame back translucent. I told them I obviously wasn't happy. They agreed and said they would have another one made. A few days later I returned to pick up the "new one" and they were the exact same ones again, except for this time they painted the back of them and shaved off or grinded off the translucent parts on the bottom tips! When I tried them on they looked crooked and ridiculous. I told them I was not happy and that it's obviously the same ones from the first time around. They said too bad and that's the best they can do. I told them I wanted them to make another and they refused. I even offered to pay again and they still refused. They had me talk to the manager Andrew and he said that It was not the same ones and that nothing could be done for me. Then he said "if you're not happy with the result, you can go elsewhere". He was also being rude and condescending and calling us liars to our face when they were obviously the same denture. To top it off, they still charged me the copay and charged my insurance as well even though I left the denture there. My whole family has been going there for years and had great service before this. But it is not in a paternalistic way. If you are already well attuned to something, or if you have tried something that didn't work, they are open to moving on. They even have an active Facebook page where they leave dental care tips and other information. Why is this HUGELY important? You can find a dentist most anywhere. But I appreciate that the team has not forgotten that they are working with human bodies and the full range of human emotion. They are patient, caring, attentive, curious and concerned. It is sometimes difficult to find this level of care in physicians and health/medical specialists -- especially at a place that is a bit more accessible and affordable than more elite/expensive offices. The team offers general services, like teeth cleaning, exams, X-ray, root canal therapy, extractions, wisdom tooth extraction and the production of mouth guards. I have Aetna Dental Access and they are the first dentist that has quoted the rates on their fee schedule from Aetna. I was so happy about this. Other dental offices think because they are specialists they have a different rate but it is always the fee schedule that is found under their dentist's name on the Aetna website. In fact, I have a billing issue out from Aetna to credit me for being overcharged by a specialist.
