Horrible experience, my teeth fills are falling apart and the dentist chopped one of my tooth by accident.

I decided to establish care with a new dentist, and I was very disappointed to find out that I had cavities developing in areas that are difficult to reach with regular brushing, including around old fillings. What was most frustrating was that during my visits here, I was always told, "Great job brushing," and I was never informed of any concerns or areas that needed closer attention. It also felt like the office was more focused on scheduling my 6-month follow-up appointments than on thoroughly addressing my dental health and providing clear communication about my care. I had referred family and friends to this office, and unfortunately, they experienced similar issues. Communication and follow-up are very important when it comes to dental care, and I feel this was lacking. The office staff also did not provide a welcoming experience, and there seemed to be constant staff changes during the time I was a patient. I initially overlooked that, but combined with my overall experience, it contributed to my disappointment. Overall, I am very unhappy with my experience and would not recommend this office based on my concerns with communication, consistency, and the level of care I received.

I contacted this location to schedule a routine cleaning as a new patient and inquired whether my…read moreinsurance was accepted. The staff member collected my information but ultimately stated she was unsure if my insurance was accepted and that someone would follow up the next day. By the end of the following day, I had not received any call, text, or update. I reached out again and went through the same process, only to be given the same response. I asked whether I had reached a call center or the office directly and was informed that I was speaking with the office. I explained that this was my second time experiencing the same interaction. I was then told that during my initial call, my information was likely not documented, which was quite concerning. I requested to speak with a manager. Shortly after, the same staff member returned to the line and stated that my insurance was, in fact, accepted--an answer that only came after I requested escalation. I reiterated my request to speak with a manager, at which point Carla identified herself as the manager. Carla attributed the initial issue to a call center, but when I pointed out that I received the same response during my follow-up call, she explained that the staff member was new. Unfortunately, Carla did not demonstrate a sense of accountability or urgency regarding the situation. Her response conveyed that this experience was not a significant concern, which was disappointing and did not reflect a high standard of customer service. Overall, this experience left me with little confidence in the organization's communication and administrative processes.

Woodbridge Smiles - The teeth Dr Kim said needed to be fully reconstructed.

I came to this office at Woodbridge Smiles for crowns following a prior root canal…read more During my appointment, I was told by Dr Kim my teeth were "too small" for crowns, something never mentioned in previous visits, including when the root canal was completed. I was repeatedly told to Google "golden proportion" regarding my teeth, which felt unnecessary and uncomfortable in a medical setting. The dentist would not move forward in the conversation until I googled this. The discussion then shifted to a recommendation for 24+ crowns and a full "Hollywood smile," which felt unrelated to my concern. I was not given a clear explanation of what was medically necessary versus cosmetic. How did we go from needing 2 crowns in my previous appointment to needing 25+!?!? On my first visit, I was never told I had cavities. On my third visit, the front desk staff, while I was in the waiting room, asked if I wanted to schedule fillings for "multiple cavities," which I was hearing for the first time in front of other patients. I was also referred to an oral surgeon without explanation. (I assumed it was for the crown I needed) At that visit, the surgeon appeared confused by the referral, stated the impacted tooth I have does not need removal unless symptomatic, and suggested I find a new dentist. Overall, I left feeling confused, overwhelmed, and without a consistent treatment plan. I also left in tears, which I have never experienced regarding dental care. I would have appreciated clearer communication and a focused, medically 'necessary' plan. Not a full reconstruction of my teeth, when I've never had smile insecurities prior. A plan that would've put $15k+ in the dentists pocket. Unnecessary and cruel. Dr S. also suggested it was completely unnecessary after the dentist walked out. Btw, THESE ARE MY TEETH! I have in no way ever had insecurities or felt like my imperfect, BUT MY TEETH, needed to be Hollywood perfect. Wtf.

I may not have said that while I was waiting on a couple of appts. But last week, my husband was the "emergency" and this office worked him in 2X, at the cost of others "wait" time. I cannot thank this office enough for last week (and the "waiting patients"). But I also want to say how kind & friendly these employees are (and funny!). Thank you
