The Dr. was able to get me into a crown appointment in 2 days, which was great. I was told the next day the dentist became ill and I would not be able to get in for a few weeks. They said they can look at the schedule and see if they can get me in... That also did not happen and I had to call to follow up on what they said they were going to do. I dunno for something emergent going on they are treating this absolutely not emergent. I hope I don't end up with endocarditis. I would love to try another place but given I just had x rays done here I'm already established I'm stuck. If this is how Dentists of Wash Park deals with their patients it seems like they truly don't care. I had a small credit on my account and asked them to refund the credit to me. I was told they would charge me a $1 fee to mail me a refund check. How can you charge someone to refund their money?. They recommended an overly complicated crown to address an old filling. I was able to go to another dentist and get the filling replaced at a fraction of the cost....saving me thousands. That is ridiculous and Vero Dental is part of our crisis around the cost of healthcare and overcharging. I would definitely stear clear of Vero Dental.

What I appreciate most is the honesty: no pressure, no exaggerated treatment plans, and no "mystery cavities." Dr. Rosso and the team take a conservative, common-sense approach and explain things clearly. They've also helped fix issues from failed repairs done by other dentists, and the difference in quality is obvious. Highly recommend this group.

I came to the practice as a transfer from my dentist Dr. Lee. He left the state and his patients were referred to Aspen. I was assigned to Dr. R. I can't comment on the quality of care as this was just a cleaning, but I was mildly surprised when the dentist appeared before the cleaning and not after. I don't know if my 60 plus years of being a dental patient are atypical, but in all that time the dentist always checked out my teeth after the cleaning. OK, so maybe not a big deal. But strange. Worse, however, was Dr. R's chairside manner. Maybe he was in a hurry or having a bad morning. I can't say. However, I was stunned when he appeared, inspected my mouth and left all without as much as a "good morning". He never introduced himself to me!!!!! We had never met. I was new to the practice. Yet, he literally never acknowledged me as a person or a new patient. Honestly, I do not understand the complete breakdown of normal interpersonal skills. I wasn't expecting to swap personal anecdotes or a touchy feely discussion of feelings. However, common courtesy would dictate a greeting and a welcome to the practice. This review is totally based upon billing…read more I have severe dental anxiety and when Espire Dental came to my apartment community, I was so thrilled by how nice they were that I set up an appointment for x-rays, exam, and treatment plan on the spot. I went in to see Dr. Adam Jury who was SO nice, as was everyone in the office... until I went to leave. My dental plan covers x-rays and cleaning twice a year with no charge... except at Espire. When I went to check out I was told I owed $128. Since I only had a tube of prescription toothpaste (which should NOT be that much) I asked the receptionist why I was being charged that much. She informed me that my insurance (Anthem BCBS PPO) was only contracted to pay a certain amount for x-rays and they charged more so I had to pay the difference. When I asked if that would happen when I came back for the cleaning, I was told "probably". While I already thought they were charging more for my treatment plan than I thought it should cost, I was willing to pay for excellent work... but being presented with a surprise bill on my first visit made me think I would be nickeled and dimed after every appointment, so I canceled ny cleaning and will be looking elsewhere for a new dentist.

They say of course, they call your insurance company and out of good faith you assume that they are only doing things covered by insurance. In fact, they tell you to come on different days bc that's how the insurance coverage works. So you coke and subject yourself to the pain on different days. Then you get a bill for over $2000 even though you've already paid $300-$500. None of this was medically necessary work. Again you tell them multiple times to only do things covered by insurance. Welcome to the shadiness of Midtown Dental.
