This review is totally based upon billing. I have severe dental anxiety and when Espire Dental came to my apartment community, I was so thrilled by how nice they were that I set up an appointment for x-rays, exam, and treatment plan on the spot. I went in to see Dr. Adam Jury who was SO nice, as was everyone in the office... until I went to leave. My dental plan covers x-rays and cleaning twice a year with no charge... except at Espire. When I went to check out I was told I owed $128. Since I only had a tube of prescription toothpaste (which should NOT be that much) I asked the receptionist why I was being charged that much. She informed me that my insurance (Anthem BCBS PPO) was only contracted to pay a certain amount for x-rays and they charged more so I had to pay the difference. When I asked if that would happen when I came back for the cleaning, I was told "probably". While I already thought they were charging more for my treatment plan than I thought it should cost, I was willing to pay for excellent work... but being presented with a surprise bill on my first visit made me think I would be nickeled and dimed after every appointment, so I canceled ny cleaning and will be looking elsewhere for a new dentist. read more

I've had my mouth butchered and have been traumatized by quack dentists in the army for YEARS. I finally got good dental insurance, so I decided to try this place out. OMG talk about luxury dentistry. You're paying for the experience but damn its worth it! Everyone is kind, professional, perfectionists at their work, they have TV's you can watch while they work on you, have aromatherapy warm towels for you, send you home a fist fulls of dental goodies in bags... I just love this place. After poor experiences of archaic teeth removals, mult jaw perforations by drills + sepsis, I avoided dentists like the plague. These professionals restored my teeth and I'll go a millions times over. read more

Called them to schedule an appt and the receptionist was super helpful and honest! Refreshing to talk to someone who actually cares.

Espire's pricing is not at all competitive! Also, The lack of "skill," as Dr Adam put it, of my other Espire dentist resulted in two fillings she did chipping within the first year which they now want to charge me ~$800 to fix. Even though I've been going there for almost 2 years, Espire wasn't willing to work with me when I lost my insurance and only offered a 5% discount if I paid in cash. In fact, they tried to charge me for the consultation to fix my front teeth (and an X-ray the hygienist decided to take before the doctor confirmed he would need it) even though I was already an established patient and arguably the chipping was The result of their poor workmanship, And that's just taking Dr. Adam at his word. They later waived the consultation, but still, I am left with two cracked front teeth. Learning and growing from the feedback you receive does me little good now. TLDR up front: Solidly average care, Customer service reps do not understand billing too well/need more training; I recommend you go elsewhere if corporate dental office feel isn't your preference. Long form review: I was on the hunt for a new dental office and work close to Espire DTC. The dental care at this office is pretty standard, the facility is very clean, and the hygienists are professional and accommodating. Unfortunately, I've made the decision to cancel my future appointment due to poor customer service. I called to ask about my bill and the CSR assisting me was unable to give me a solid answer as to whether they processed my insurance properly. The employee assisting me read me notes off my file which-- no brainer--don't make much sense to me because the notes are made for and by internal system users. I asked her to explain to me what's going on and she couldn't. Asked to speak with billing manager/office manager so I can better understand the charges; he was out of office for a meeting. Employee/CSR I spoke with said "we leave early at 3 PM on Fridays so if he gets back before then I'll have him call you back." So, then I asked if the practice manager could give me a call on Monday, to which she replied "I don't know, I don't know his schedule." So there's no senior employee available to help with billing/the employees don't know when they'll be available to assist...? Very frustrating as a customer, particularly because dental care is NOT cheap. If I've got to spend chunk of money to maintain my oral health, I want to work with people who are friendly, helpful, good communicators, and understand insurance/billing (I work in billing for insurance as well, I know it's no walk in the park). I appreciated the CSR's efforts to handle my concerns but as a client I didn't feel very well taken care of. Finally, my brand new DDS already left the practice so.... I will be finding a new office. Based on my experience here as well as my experiences with other less "corporate" feeling dental offices, I wouldn't recommend Espire unless it's urgent. read more

One word can sum up the whole experience.....AWESOME! But I will elaborate. When I first walked in my son and I were greeted with the utmost customer service! Normally, a dentist office is a place where your anxiety levels are agitated a little and comfortable is not the first word that comes to mind....but this place is different from all the other offices I had been to. I forgot I was even at the dentist. They were conversing with me and my son the whole time just getting to know us. Offered coffee, water, books and toys for the little one (He is 4). They took us on a tour of the office and had a wonderful gift at the end along with a caring letter! If you want to undergo a delightful experience and a warm and family like environment this is where you want to be. read more

Espire Dental has a pleasent and wonderful staff. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. The dentists, dental assistants, and dental hygienist are all very caring and compassionate, especially Dr. Natalia Lesinski and her assistant Jackie. I am a high anxiety patient and need dental care with patience and understanding and I definitely received that from Dr. Lesinski and Jackie. They truly provide the best care and I have never had to go back for any adjustments with the work done as they get it right the first time. I have had much work done at this practice and I undoubtedly received my money's worth and the hours go by fast with the comfort and service this office provides. They have Tvs with head phones, chapstick, warm blankets, eye glass cleaner, protein shakes, plus the crowns are made on site. However, I've been in nice offices before and at Espire the difference is definitely the people. read more

I just got off the phone with Dr. Brian Ley who took the time to call me personally to explain a procedure and answer my questions even though I have never been in to his office and I am not an actual patient. He really took the time to listen to my concerns and broke things down into a language I could understand without being patronizing. He came off as a very trustworthy and hardworking individual who really cares about his patients. He told me the truth without reserve and laid out the steps that I would need to take, and that's more than anyone else I have called about this procedure has been able to do. I LOVE Dr. Ley and his staff. While this location is walkable from my work, it's worth a short drive if you're nearby or live in the neighborhood. Staff are very friendly and they remember you. Online scheduling and text reminders are incredibly convenient. Parking is onsite and plenty. Easy to find, too. My hygienist is funny and thorough. No pain and beautifully, squeaky clean teeth every time. Office is very clean and to-date. TV's on the ceiling to watch during your procedure and great tunes too! Dr. Ley is very personable and laid back. And you always get sent home with a new brush, floss, paste; whatever you need - and of course, a smile. This place is top notch! read more

I have been going to Brian Ley, DDS & Staff office happily for a few years now but Something has Changed on my last 2/3 visits or so? Everyone has been nice, caring/helpful & did Quality work with the exception of my last few Visits (I certainly don't believe it's anything I said or did!). Went in for my scheduled Cleaning last mo, just didn't feel it was quite as good/detailed (a bit rushed I feel also) as I had gotten in the past and I mentioned my bite seems off a little, so she checked my bite & did a little grinding/smoothing. That nite I felt that my bite was worse/something not right, I called in 1st thing next morning, Rochelle (front desk) got me scheduled the following week (I actually Said, whenever would be fine, it's not a real emergency). I came in & got seated quickly, Brian Ley, DDS checked my bite, did some grinding/smoothing for about 15/20 +- mins and some finalized smoothing by a new young lady I hadn't seen before, I was Charged for an EMERGENCY Visit (was discounted some, I am presently Self-Pay (until my Company Insurance starts, of $128.00 - WOW!). I noticed when I got home, where Dr. Ley was grinding/smoothing (& the new young lady working also) that I had a small little piece of Porcelain missing/cracked (about the Size of a Pin Head)) from 1 of my left bottom Crowns & my bite was worse (what's going on? Shifted toward the front of my teeth/bite now, 2 teeth actually hurt when I bite (pressure, etc)). I was not overly happy about the charges (I am a professional also & I am Not looking for free hand outs, etc - just want things done Right & people to Do the Right Thing) & I still have my bite unresolved & now a small piece of my Crown damaged (by the work They did). I called back in about the issues, a few days went bye w/o any call back, so I decided that I need to call back myself then. Talked to Brain Ley briefly (I nicely/calmly explained, not happy about the charges since it was more an issue on their end & Not an emergency), he was short with me & He said he didn't want to "Bicker" (I don't bicker!) and would Refund the charges for that day (wasn't expecting all that but thanks) & HE Said, since he doesn't feel he or his office services can satisfy me any more (but I had No Problem(s) with them in the Past) to find another Dentist to service you (I felt that was quite Unprofessional: HIS COMMENT and to JUST ABRUPTLY THROW ME INTO GOING TO SEE ANOTHER DENTIST LIKE THAT!). He then quickly disconnected the call! Perhaps (least how I feel about it) HIS way of trying to Avoid Any if His Additional Time, Effort & Money on making things truly Right with my Teeth (blotched, dropped the ball, mistake by He and/or his Staff, on his end?). HE SHOWED ME, HE JUST DOESN'T CARE! It was Not entirely about the money/charges, it was also about the quality of service/care (my bite still IS Not right & now I have a small piece out of my Crown) and to just try to get things back to what they were Before! Needless to say, I will be searching for another General Dentist (in my 5280 magazine) to correct what bite/teeth (small piece out of my Crown) issues that I now have. I was a new patient yesterday and met with Dr. Ley and his staff for the first time. I felt at home instantly and really felt like Dr. Ley listened to me when I was describing the tooth issue I am having. He made some minor adjustments to make me feel better while I am waiting for my next appointment. I am scheduled back next week and am looking forward to dealing with Dr. Ley and his staff again. read more

I got a groupon to visit this dentist, as I needed to find a new dental provider, having just moved. I called and made an appointment right away for 8am a few days later. Unfortunately, I ended up unexpectedly working very late the night before, and missed the early morning appointment. As a result, I received 5-6 calls from the dentist's office, and when I was finally able to answer (again, working), I was ear to ear with an irate receptionist, berating me for missing the appointment. She said "did you get lost?!?" She was incredibly rude, and when I apologized profusely for missing the appointment, and expressed my interest in rescheduling, she said "*SIGH* Well, we are going to charge you a $25 rescheduling fee to do that". Shocked by the lack of customer service and her blatant rudeness, I said that I don't plan to reschedule if they are going to charge me such a fee, and she said "okay fine" and hung up. For a company that is having a groupon special, I would imagine that they are attempting to grow their long-term clientele, as most companies don't make a profit from selling groupons at such steep discounts. I was SHOCKED that they would tread a potential long-term customer with such disrespect, showing absolutely NO customer service to someone that could become a loyal customer. Needless to say, if this is how they treat their clientele over the phone, I will SURE AS HECK not be visiting the office. read more
