The dentist Dr. Monroe is very good at what she does too. It's too bad that the management has gotten rid of the good people they had and replaced them with people that are so-so. Unfortunately, this has been one of the most frustrating healthcare experiences I've had. After my initial visit on January 19th, I was told I needed a crown and that they would send a treatment plan with details. When they failed to do so, I had to follow up in early February. On February 18th, Mary finally emailed me a treatment plan with a cost share that was $800 MORE than what my handbook stated. I immediately responded asking her to double-check this significant discrepancy. She never replied. I followed up again on February 24th and March 2nd - still no response. Mary finally responded on March 5th, explaining they wanted to use their updated CEREC machine for a "stronger" same-day crown instead of the standard D2740 crown covered by my plan. This felt like an upselling tactic rather than necessary treatment. I called on March 9th to discuss getting the standard covered crown, and was told Mary would call me back that day. She didn't. I called again on Thursday and had to escalate to their corporate office. Now I'm waiting again for a returned call. It has been almost 2 full months since being told I needed a crown, with multiple ignored emails and unreturned phone calls. The combination of poor communication, billing discrepancies, and apparent upselling tactics makes this an easy decision - I do not recommend this practice.

I told her I had a dental surgery a couple weeks later so I need the cavity filled so that I can eat on that side of my mouth. (if the cavity was not fixed, I wouldn't be able to eat after my surgery because it would be too sensitive). I paid for the visit & the x-ray just for her to tell me that I do not have a cavity there. (Which I do.) She told me that I shouldn't worry about it until my surgery was done & that a cavity isn't what's causing the pain. I called my previous dentist & they sent over an x-ray showing that there IS a cavity there & that cavities definitely do cause that much pain.) So because of her, I won't be able to eat or even drink room temperature water BC she couldn't identify a cavity that other dentists can see right away. She also hurt me during the checkup with the metal tooth probe by hitting it against my gums 3 separate times. It's confusing that she hurt me during a checkup and couldn't see a cavity that my other Dentist could see very easily. So I basically paid for her to hurt me several times during a simple check up and she sent me away when she could have simply filled my cavity. I will not be coming here ever again, and I can't believe this woman actually deals with teeth. (she was also very loud and every word that came out of my mouth she mimicked, making communication difficult). Horrible experience!

I had a bond on that tooth for most of my life until yesterday it broke off. This office staff was beyond amazing, kind and welcoming. Something you don't get from going to any type of doctor office. From the moment I walked in .. was seen and had my bond re done. I was explained everything that was happening through every step. I couldn't have walked out of the office with a better experience.
