My mom was visiting from out of town and wanted to make her weekend a spa weekend. Because of pregnancy, I was limited to taking only prenatal massages, so I looked up all the highly-rated places in Las Vegas and LOAM came up. It was easy to look over their services on their website, but to ensure my mom and I could do our massages together at the same time, I found calling them was much better. I had booked the 50-minute Prenatal Massage and my mom booked the 50-minute Thai LOAM Massage with a 50% reservation fee. We were required to show up 10 minutes before our appointments to fill out a waiver and survey, change out of our clothes, and get situated on the massage bed. We were originally going to be in separate rooms but they asked if it was okay to put us in the couples' room; not a problem. They set up my bed with the pregnancy wedge for my belly, and it was pretty comfortable. The only complaint I had was that I had a hard time breathing through the little head hole as they layered a lot of white sheets on top of the bed and made the hole smaller and stifling. I found myself having to breathe through my mouth but it was tolerable. For prenatal massages, they only offer light and medium pressure. However, in certain areas I did feel like I got deep pressure especially in my shoulders as I had a few knots and tightness there. Katie/Kathy was my masseuse and she knew exactly how to work out those kinks while still making the experience comfortable for a pregnant person. I still felt like I got deep tissue massage on my shoulders despite the prenatal massage policy of being at maximum medium pressure. My mom said she found her massage relaxing and loved her experience at LOAM. They gave us water cups at checkout and we left feeling pretty relaxed. I did have a bit of shoulder soreness for 2 days afterwards but that is to be expected for getting the incessant knots out of my back--shoutout to Katie/Kathy! Overall, I highly recommend LOAM for their prenatal massages! read more

My husband and I recently visited Loam for a prenatal massage and a deep tissue massage, and unfortunately, the experience fell short of our expectations. Neither of us felt like our therapists were particularly skilled or well-trained, and the massages lacked the technique and attention to detail we were hoping for- especially considering the price point and the wellness-focused atmosphere. The space itself is beautiful and relaxing, but the quality of the actual treatments just didn't match the environment. We left feeling disappointed and wishing we had chosen another spa. Saw this place online and have been looking for a place that also specializes in prenatal massage. When calling o was able to get more info in regards to what they offer. I decided to the prenatal spa day which included a 50min massage and 50 facial. My husband went with the 120 massage to try to finish around the same time as me. When we walked in we were greeted and competed a short intake form, then we were taken to our rooms. We opted out for separate rooms but they do offer a room for couples. When I entered my room it was super clean and smelled nice, there was a pregnancy pillow that had the hole for my belly which was nice. When we flipped over it was a nice surprise that the table was able to incline to ensure it wasn't laying on my back straight. My massage therapist was named Katie and she was amazing! I asked for her to focus on my neck, back and hips and she definitely did. I enjoyed that the pressure was perfect for me and she knew exactly what she was doing. After there was a 10 mins break to get my facial done and I was given some water after. Then when it was time for my facial Alexandria got the room ready for me asked me about the specifics for my face. I did enjoy my facial and the products smelled really nice of strawberries. Her touch was gentle but maybe too gentle for me but still really relaxing. My husband stated his massage was nice more like a Thai fusion without the part where they stand on you like a traditional Thai massage. She focused a lot of his back and was able to massage knots he didn't know existed which was nice. read more

As I closed out my birthday month, I decided to treat myself to a day spa package. I knew I didn't want to visit a resort property for this, so I looked into more local, boutique spa experiences and found Loam. I'm so happy I came across this business because what a treat the services were! Staff were very helpful and communicative from the point of booking the appointment until I departed after the services. I got the Ground to Glow package which included a 50-minute fusion Thai massage with Maydelin, a 50-minute custom facial, and a 50-minute body scrub. Each therapist was attentive to my requests and needs, ensuring they were tender with any sensitive areas and focused on any problem or pain areas. The woman who provided my facial was so knowledgeable and friendly. She made helpful recommendations about my regimen. All the treatments left me feeling so serene, relaxed, and rejuvenated. And to cap it all off, the space itself is so tranquil and beautiful! It seems unassuming from the outside given it's tucked in a strip mall, but the moment you step through the front door, you're transported. The space is quiet and outfitted in shades of beige. Staff ensure the volume is kept at a minimum out of respect for everyone, and every service space I stepped into, including the bathroom, was so clean and just gorgeous. I wish I could justify such services regularly in my budget, but I will definitely be back soon! read more

I treated myself to the choco-rose seasonal experience for Valentine's Day weekend. The spa is beautiful, modern, and clean. Both the receptionist and masseuse were incredible, and the bathroom and room was spotless. Dare I say the bathroom even smelled pleasant...There was a really good air freshener in it. As someone who avoids public restrooms as much as possible, this made my experience even better. The massage was relaxing and just what I needed. She used just the right amount of pressure & I I left with 0 knots and 0 tension within my body. All of the products the masseuse used smelled good, and weren't overwhelming. (Strong scents give me headaches). I love that the massage tables are heated here, and the walls aren't thin. I never heard anyone walking down the hall or any other noise beyond the room. Four of us stopped here for massages while visiting Las Vegas. The spa is lovely. We felt relaxed the minute we stepped foot inside. It's cozy and the staff were friendly. Two chose the 80 minute deep tissue massage, one had the mud and hot stone massage and the other had the coffee scrub and massage. The spa itself has a very nice aesthetic and the staff was incredibly nice. Although, I will say the massage itself was disappointing. I booked a 90 minute prenatal massage. I really needed it because my legs and feet have been swollen and in pain. I did mark medium pressure for my massage and was surprised deep pressure was an EXTRA charge. I haven't been to any massage places that charge extra for deep pressure... apparently they state they don't provide deep prenatal massages, I find it odd they don't as other massage places do.. Anyway, I felt like the therapist didn't really have a technique with her massage and I just felt like I was getting rubbed on. I did ask the therapist for more pressure since I didn't feel like I was getting any pressure but only received an elbow for "more pressure". As someone who gets regular massages you can tell when a therapist is knowledgeable and can "feel" your muscle tension and knots but I just felt like I paid close to $200 to get lotion rubbed on my body. As I said, the staff was friendly and the facility was nice and clean but as the massage itself it was not something I'd recommend. read more
