Have been in town this week to help someone move, and with COVID-19 going on I haven't been able to get my hair done anywhere at home. I'm from Washington State & definitely not a local. My roots were like 4-6 inches long and super dark. I was referred by an acquaintance to see Ashli and she did a great job on restoring my look and got me in on such short notice. She got the color I wanted just right and I received compliments for the rest of the day. She was also able to work with my thick & porous hair and thinned out the back for me so it's more manageable. Even though I was a one time client (she knew I was in town for a little bit), I was treated really well & as if I would be a reoccurring client. I got a cut, color, & style from her for a great price! ($120) As for COVID-19, the business really seemed to prioritize the safety of their customers and followed all necessary precautions. My stylist even made sure if I was okay with bleach potentially getting on my mask. The other employees were also very kind & would stop by to compliment my hair as it was getting styled. 10/10 would recommend a visit here. read more

Michelle Mccoy did my hair, I have dark brown hair and wanted to go black. She was very rushed and when I went home I noticed that my hair was nearly the same color. The product came out completely within a couple weeks. Would not recommend her. Shampoo was also rushed and that is the best part of getting your hair done. read more

Michelle McCoy is an awesome stylist and a very honest, kind & humble person with very high morals and integrity. She has been my stylist for 10+ years following her from salon to salon. I only go to her and would miss her if she decides to retire. Michelle also bends her schedule to try and accomodate her clients. I've been coming to Elements Salon for a couple months and I've always come out extremely happy with my hair but I've noticed the salon itself needs some serious work. my hair stylist always does an amazing job and never ceases to amaze me but this past appointment, I felt like I was sitting in the middle of Alaska. the entire salon was ice cold and my feet were starting to go numb. alongside of this, when I used the restroom I noticed it was extremely unclean and I almost was afraid to use it. you would think with this whole COVID thing a salon owner would take extra precautions to ensure the clients safety but apparently that isn't the case here. I'm so disappointed in how the salon was during my recent appointment, I hope they can bump up the heat in these colder months and get a cleaning crew in the bathroom sometime soon. read more

Although I have only been in the salon three times now, I have always enjoyed my visits! When I first moved to Vegas I was extremely nervous about letting someone new touch my hair (I had been with my previous hair dresser in NJ for about 10 years). Well, a trusted co-worker suggested Elements and so off I went... adventuring into the abyss of unknown highlights and hair cuts. The first time I went, I kept it simple with my usual style (highlights and a trim). I worked with Jeanine and I loved her!! She is SO friendly and kept me chatting and entertained throughout my whole visit. She took amazing care of me! She made sure to double and triple check everything I wanted to make sure I was getting exactly the looked I wanted. After my first test run I was ready to take it up a notch with Jeanine on my next visit. Since the summer was coming around, I wanted to try something fun. So, I went with a purple ombre. Nothing is more fun and out there as that, am I right. I LOVED it! She did a great job blending it and keeping it subtle for my first time around with a deep color on my ends. I loved it so much I went back toad more and have the purple go up a little higher to make it more noticeable! I love the purple so much that I'm pretty sure it'll be staying around long after summer is over. I've only ever worked with Jeanine so I can't really attest to the other stylists, but everyone is always extremely friendly when I come in and everyone makes it an enjoyable experience! This will definitely be my new place while I live in Vegas! read more

I got married on 05/13/2018 and Laurie was the wonderful woman who styled my updo for my special day. It was gorgeous! She's such a sweetheart and took great care of me. She made sure to ask what was okay and what I'd prefer, if anything hurt. She was very gentle and careful with my hair. She even brought hair glitter to sprinkle on my hair at the end for a cute touch lol. This woman seriously even took it upon herself to come in on a Sunday & it was Mother's Day just to take care of me. It was an amazing experience and she did an incredible job! Stay away from Michelle McCoy at Elements Salon. I had my hair done today and while my hair was under the dryer processing then getting my hair washed in the shampoo bowl, my purse was stolen! Strangest thing Michelle and another employee were adamant that I didn't bring a purse in while yelling at me in front of other customers and employees. I know for a fact where i put my purse. While on the phone with HPD, Michelle & another employee asked me to wait outside for the police in 49 degree weather with sopping wet hair "you're not welcome here". Michelle left in a hurry while screaming at me "check my sh*t b*tch" without letting me actually see what was inside her net laundry bag with a bunch of towels. When the police finally come and took my statement, Michelle briefly came back. The police heard over the radio that down the street a man was trying to use a woman's credit card. Yup, my purse! I got everything back-nothing missing. I've never been so humiliated in my entire life but thankfully its over and I didn't lose anything except my dignity. I didn't find out how that man ended up with my purse but I wouldn't recommend going to Element Salon. Michelle wasn't concerned that my purse was missing - her behavior was extremely rude & unprofessional. THANK YOU HENDERSON PD for a job well done !!! read more

Wanted to post: Had my hair colored yesterday at a salon that received 4 stars. It was my second time as the first time I got a great cut at this salon. So i thought lets be fun and add some color. Well, the end results looked like someone took a purple toupee and plopped it on my head. Needless to say when given the opportunity to fix the problem she couldn't fit me in until Friday, so FOUR days of looking like s****, no thanks. Called Elements and explained my problem and everyone there was great. Talked with Lori she wasn't sure, can't tell much on the phone. Went in for a quick lookie lou and Lori stepped up to the plate.
