Seriously, all these 5-star reviews are on point. Tucked away in a shopping center, I am so glad that I happened upon this place first for a cut, then for a drastic dye and cut. Brandi is super, super friendly and very skilled in what she does. She'll be honest about how things look instead of just agreeing to whatever, which I 110% appreciate. My first visit, I chopped off quite a bit of hair. Need change sometimes! I showed her a couple of pictures I found and, although they were pathetically small, she understood what I wanted and improved on it! I loved my hair - it was also a great bonus that she thinned it out for the hot summer months. My hair is THICK. My second visit was a bit more drastic. I've been fiending for a color in my hair for quite some time - box red wasn't cutting it anymore. I waited a couple of months after my box dye and sprang right in here on a Saturday. (I got really, really lucky with a same-day appointment. Call ahead!) While since then I've had to change my hair due to a career change, I wish I could go back to it and would 100% recommend Brandi for anyone else wanting to do anything like that as well. read more

Finding a family run business these days is akin to finding a Tyrannosaurus Rex roaming the Las Vegas Strip. Alas, I have found 2 in this city of big box, heartless businesses !! Salon, Salon will forevermore be home for my monthly grooming (or at least until nature finishes what she has started on my poor, nearly barren scalp). My daughter is 13, and she said she felt totally pampered. All Frankie had to go on was a verbal description from my daughter and she literally produced EXACTLY what she was wanting. It's not the easiest thing to please a 13 year old girl, much less THRILL her, but Frankie did it. Gracie is super excited, and just loves the end result. Brassy and underwhelming, I had finally had enough with my hair. It was Sunday afternoon and I knew I needed to do something about it. Luckily Salon Salon is open on Sundays, and the stars aligned because Brandi was able to squeeze me. I was extremely nervous because the last time I had my hair done, I ended up with 2 inches of regrowth dyed a much lighter blond than the rest of my hair. Needless to say, it was a mess and I was worried that it may get worse. However, my fear was unnecessary as Brandi weaved 2 shades of blond highlights into my hair that blended the botched previous job and cooled down my overall look. As if that weren't enough, she finished it off with an expert cut. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the experience or my hair! I haven't had this good of work done in years and to top it off, the cost was ridiculously reasonable. I've been going to this salon for 10 years, in fact my whole family goes and sees Darcie. I have such fragile hair and being blonde she knows exactly how to make the perfect color without my hair being fried. Then when I wanted to try out extensions, there was someone to help me as well. Where to start? I found this place as I was just randomly clicking on salons with 5 stars. Lucky for me! I would give it 6 . I called and a very friendly voice made my appointment for the next day, a Saturday to boot. As fate would have it I was booked with Paige. I needed a color and a cut. I haven't cut my hair for over 20+ years. So I was pretty nervous. I took a pic for an idea and Paige took it from there. She was so fun, and made me feel comfortable. I trusted her right off. I found myself in a bind after my original hair stylist (my sister) was unable to do my hair for an upcoming wedding. I was on yelp for hours, searching for an "ethnic-oriented" salon that would be able to accommodate my needs. After a while, I just decided to settle for a salon that was open on Sundays. I'm always a little wary when looking for a hair stylist because I'm constantly trying to find someone who has experience working with bi-racial (black and filipino) hair. I stumbled upon Salon Salon and sat in Ashley's chair. I asked for a blow dry/flat iron, and admittedly, I was a little nervous about the outcome. If not done correctly, my hair can (and has) come out looking dry and frizzy. But Ashley exceeded all my expectations. After it was straightened, she did a side ponytail with a little curl. She even decided to experiment with a small braid, and it turned out great! I will definitely be coming back here in the future. read more

I have been looking for a new stylist. I've been through a few in the last year. I came across Salon Salon and saw a review posted by a coworker. I decided to give them a try. I am so pleased that I did. My appointment was originally with a different person, but she was fixing a color for another client. No worries, though, I was fortunately introduced to Marta. Marta listened, allowed me to show her a picture and offered suggestions on a style. I ended up with a fabulous cut and a new stylist. Yay for me! I have extremely thick hair and Marta was patient and knew how to work with it. I highly recommend her and the salon. On a side note, the color correction done for the other client looked great. I called Salon Salon today, literally an hour after having a nightmare highlighting experience at another salon. I had come home in tears and was frantic for help. Brandi graciously told me to come in immediately as she had a sudden opening. Luck was on my side because not only could she see me immediately (!!!), but she was so warm and welcoming, as well as knowledgable and kind. She listened to my concerns, discussed what needed to be changed, and did a phenomenal job on adjusting my hair to be exactly what I wanted. I am so relieved and grateful. Alayna is fantastic! I started coming to her over a year ago after reading great reviews about her. She does my color and cut. I've never had more compliments since she started doing my hair. She's helped me grow it long again and keep it blonde without damage. I used to have major breakage before Alayna. Her prices are super reasonable and she never up sells me. She even tells me when I don't need to do my underneath color and saves me money rather than just doing it and charging me. I have moved away from Henderson but will continue to drive there every 8 weeks for Alayna. Alayna is the best!! read more

My experience was mediocre. The color came out good. However when I tell someone how to cut my hair I want it that way. I think this person did not have the experience, skill set, or listening skills to accomplish the cut. I didn't appreciate that she finish doing laundry instead of efficiently taking care of me so I am not there longer than necessary. read more

Great place. Very friendly and prices are reasonable, not over priced at all. I came in with horrible hair that needed some TLC. Kelly took great care of me, telling me the style I wanted wouldn't work for my hair and why and what she could do to get close to it. Also the dye and highlights would work due to the red still in my hair. She talked with me though the whole time and listened and asked questions. I saw a lot of good reviews for this place so i decided to get my hair done here. The lady who helped me and my daughter was Marta and she is extraordinary!!!!!! She colored my hair burgundy and cut both mines and my daughters' hair... I cant remember the last time i fell in love with my hair and today Marta made me fall in love with my hair again!!
