I had once instance where they were behind 15 minutes in their schedule...but, their service is all aces. They keep teeth tip top. You can also ask for "GUM" flossing brushes (rather than stuff you can't use for your electric toothbrush), and they'll set you up. Enjoy! read more

I've been in customer service for over30 years and the way I was treated was not fair. First of all the dentist are excellent. To me if you make a mistake on price,that's on your company. I've worked at a lot of retail establishments and if it's your mistake it's your problem. I was told $420 and my insurance would cover the rest. Two months later I receive a bill for$639. I make a call the young lady tells me not to worry it's covered. Now she tells me my insurance didn't cover the crown. She sent me a form to sign where they were going to take the money out of my account. No thank you, you will get it when I can. read more

Horrible dentists. I'm currently working with a different practice to fix all of the problems Kruglet and Biel caused with just a crown. The crown has shifted all of my teeth out of place and it's really difficult to eat now that my teeth aren't aligned correctly and my molars don't touch. My jaw constantly hurts and my front teeth are now becoming damaged from being displaced. Absolutely horrible dentists!! I don't know how they are still in practice and haven't been reported to DORA. read more

My first visit here was the first dental visit I'd had in a couple years. The staff was extraordinarily kind to me from my initial phone call to set up the appointment throughout the process. The ladies at the front desk were welcoming and helpful, and the waiting room was clean and well-maintained. My dental nurse was extremely kind and well-informed on what she was doing. She talked me through every step of the process, was thorough and efficient, and always checked to make sure I was doing okay throughout the cleaning and check-up. The dentist himself was quick and talked with his team well, and at the end of the visit gave me a referral to an oral surgeon, which was very helpful. I'm very happy to have found them! read more

If I could give zero stars i would. Had a cleaning scheduled for 10/23/20. Recieved a call at 9:00 am from the dentist office trying to confirm my appointment. I am not able to accept personal calls at work, so I dont get any messages until after 6:00pm. In the message, I was told that I needed to confirm verbally with them by 3:00 pm or they would cancel my appointment. So, in effect, my appointment has been cancelled before I can even return a call. I have been a dedicated customer of yours for at least 5 years. I did everything I was supposed to do correctly. Why am I being treated so badly? I will never give this horrible company any more of my business. I will actively try to discourage others from patronizing this business as well. I don't particular like going to the dentist, so I have a hard time giving them or any dentist 5 stars or 4. Apart from getting a foot massage or having the dentist work on me from a hot tub, I just don't see how any experience can be that good. There is just something very unnatural about having a piece of cold hard metal in your mouth as it fills with saliva and the dental assistant usually puts the suction in too deep or too late for my comfort. Plus, even with insurance, I hate to have to shell out any dough for some filling, but it is the price of age. So apart from my general feelings about dentists, I've been going here for as long as I can remember. Appointments are always on time, I rarely have to get extra work beyond the checkups done and all of the dentists are really nice. I don't get the feeling like they look for business on my teeth, if you catch my drift. I've been seeing Greg, the hygienist, forever, and we usually talk football. Actually he usually talks football while he puts a bunch of stuff in my mouth. Also AFD, is really prompt in reminder services, post cards, and its a really nice atmosphere. If I wasn't against dentists, I'd probably give them 5 stars. read more

Hard to believe all the positive reviews, since Dr. K was so rude and abrupt with me: he got angry and impatient because I had questions and concerns about the denture we were working on (for which he did NOT listen to me at all), then, when it was finished and I went in for an adjustment, he took the denture and told me to leave -- without the denture! I lost $900 in financial aid for the denture and had to find a new dentist and start all over, without the $900 grant! This was one of the most traumatic experiences I've had at the dentist, and I'm still reeling from such hateful treatment! read more

I am a 10 year patient with this group and had good results during that time because I had dental insurance. I recently lost my insurance due to a work change and do not have coverage. The practice will not work with me to discount cleanings--I cannot afford $176.00 out of pocket and they will not give me a break. I was referred to Dr. Kruglet after another dentist refused to do the 4 fillings (they recommended I needed), due to the questions I had. Dr. Kruglet not only answered my questions, he took time to make me feel comfortable and the procedure went off without a hitch. He was gentle and I didn't even feel the injections. He only did 3 of the 4 fillings as he didn't think the 4th was necessary, so is conservative, which I appreciated. They also needed more x-rays as the ones from the previous dentist weren't clear enough and took more knowing they couldn't charge the insurance and wouldn't charge me. Dr. Kruglet cares more about the patient than the bottom line and is in it for the right reason. The office staff are friendly and very helpful. The facilities are clean and exactly what you want from a professional dental office. I would recommend this dental practice and Dr. Kruglet 100 times over. I have never met a more honest place of business! The doctors here think about the patient rather than their pocket. They have a nice office, happy staff (which to me means alot) and I just love going there. Sometimes, I just visit without having an appointment so that I can visit with the girls at the front desk, they are so friendly and will give me a cup of coffee. I read some of the bad reviews about the doctors or staff members and I think to myself "NO WAY". How can a doctor so nice to me and my family be so rude to others, it's not in their nature. WORST PLACE EVER!!! I made my husband an appointment and went in. The receptionist was very nice. Got into the room they took x-rays the dentist Dr Beil came in and asked why he hadn't got it done sooner. My husband said because it's hard to justify a car payment and the dentist got snotty and said " I guess it depends on your priorities" he then looked in his mouth and said " I will not apologize for how much it costs" yelling. Then when I said then just pull it out because I can't afford a root canal, buildup and crown ( even with dental insurance) he jumped up pushed the stool back and told us he wasn't going to do anything for us and to go find another dentist. We sure will and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!! read more

Since I found this dental practice, I actually look forward to seeing my dentist. The whole staff, the front desk, the techs, and of course my talented dentist, are all focused on my comfort. They even gave me a lip balm afterward, which I needed after all that work. As I build a relationship with the team, my care continually improves. They figured out how much anesthesia I need to feel safe without numbing me to the eyelids. They also work with my schedule so I can get whatever treatment I need, and still take care of my responsibilities. The team all have positive attitudes, so it's easy to connect on a human level. I have always had good experiences here for everything from cleanings to extractions to crowns. The dentists are kind and helpful. Dr. Toragino is my regular dentist but the others have seen me and were good as well. I don't have any fears of dentists, but I've heard good things from people who do. My regular hygentist April is great and has a wonderful sense of humor as well as being good at her job. I have seen a couple of the other hygienists there and they were just as good and friendly. As a client of Associates In Family for 4 years I have always asked what my out of pocket expenses will be after all procedures have been completed. My insurer has conveyed to me that they at any time they will verify my coverage. So why is it on my last 2 visits when asked upon completion of services if a balance is due and told no I receive a bill 10 days later that I owe additional sums. When I request new work, this dental office requires all monies up front and produces a receipt stamped ESTIMATED CHARGE ONLY. They have weeks to confirm out of pocket expenses. The billing optics and behavior of this office does not pass the smell test. These add on expenses weeks later have moral and ethical questions. If I purchase shoes from a retailer and receive a bill for additional charges a week later, I as well as anyone else would have questions. I have request a written explanation but have yet to receive one. It appears to me that Associates In Family Dentistry is obfuscating final costs by not providing actual costs when services are completed. This behavior is no way to protect your branding, and hurts your present and future client base. Predicated on these practices I will never return or recommend this office to anyone. read more
