Not only was he punctual, he was responsive communicative and extremely professional. they sent me the estimates by the end of that same day (others took weeks or didn't even bother to show up at all). They delivered as promise, showed up on time, and his team of 3 finished my large property in 1.5 days. My garden beds look amazing! We hired them for mulching and edging the beds only, but already getting quotes for other work. I highly recommend the Rivera brothers for all your landscaping and hardscaping needs.

We decided to get our old asphalt driveway and sidewalk (concrete) walkway removed and replaced…read more After talking and getting a quote from one other company, we decided to go with JD Construction as they were doing another job right down the street. We walked down to ask them to come by and they did right away. The brother that own the company are extremely nice, knowledgable and professional. We told them what we were looking for, then made recommendations and drew up a contract. They would begin within 3 weeks. A week later they were back and within a day our entire driveway and walk were removed and everything was tamped down and prepped. After sitting for awhile we decided on pavers for the walk (they bring you samples to choose from) and a design. The walkway went in on two days and it was VERY nicely done. It looks perfect. They also concrete the sides to that everything is right and not as likely to shift. A few days later they came back and the driveway went in in a couple hours. The guys were great. The workers were courteous and cleaned up really well at the end of each day. We were happy with the speed at which the project was completed, the fact that we're were involved from beginning to end (they keep you totally in the loop and let you know why thy are doing certain things or using certain materials), and the price seemed pretty fair, especially for the area. I would highly recommend them for any similar projects.

if you are still going to hire them despite the reviews then:…read moreget an estimate in writing. consult ai about how to draw up a real estimate. do not, do not give them any money ahead of time. use progress payments. do not fall for the story that they need your money to buy materials. reimburse them when the materials are delivered and you see the invoice. have a third party inspect the final construction as it proceeds. do not make a final payment until a third party verifies the quality of the work. you will probably not see or hear from them again if there is a problem.
