The GMG website listed Berkshire Hearth & Home as a dealer so I began by emailing them with some basic questions. They were always quick to reply and answered all of my questions. I originally planned this to be a birthday gift for my wife which would have been in January but there was a really good sale that was coming to an end on 1 December so it was full steam ahead. We agreed on a charge for delivery and setup and after a few days Brad let me know that the grill had arrived and would it be convenient to bring it by the next day (I'm in Milford BTW). He gave me a one hour window for delivery and they arrived exactly at the 1/2 hour mark. Brad and his helper had the grill off of the truck and setup in just a few minutes. There was a shortage from the factory on the grill covers so afterwards I found one online from another vendor and ordered it. Since I'd already paid for a cover with my initial purchase I asked if they could refund the cost of the cover. They immediately replied that it would not be a problem. I was very impressed and satisfied with the entire process and would strongly recommend Berkshire Hearth & Home to anyone.

I am going into month 3 of having a nonfunctioning, unuseable outdoor kitchen which still remains a half built shell on my back deck because Sal sold me a damaged, subpar outdoor kitchen which he refuses to provide any level of customer service! This business owner cares about one thing and one thing only... HIMSELF! He does not care what happens to you after your check or credit card clears! As seen in the attached image, Sal from NYC fireplaces has revoked even the smallest simplest gesture of customer service since I wrote a negative review! This man thinks his word is all that matters in this world and does not believe that actions speak louder than words! Another tit for tat expectation from a shotty self centered looser of a business owner! RUN RUN RUN from this company! Go to absolutely anyone else! This man is a thief. This man is a corrupt business owner. My credit card company says numerous people have opened claims against this man! Even the OEM manufacturer of the kitchen island has said they will be refusing to allow this man to represent their company moving forward! Do not fall for all his positive reviews! A few days after the order I realized I had made a mistake - I ordered a dual fuel wood/natural gas oven, when I actually needed dual fuel wood/propane. I called and spoke to Luca who immediately made the change in their system. The oven was delivered the next day and the delivery person was extremely courteous and helpful. Again, I made another mistake. I forgot to order the stand to put the pizza oven on. I called Luca again and he took payment for the stand and offered to waive the FedEx costs since I paid for assembly initially. That would have been great customer service already, but to go a step further, Luca called me back and said they would put it on a truck and deliver it that same day. Such a great experience!

She figured out my real needs and showed me all the options. We eventually settled on a Weber option that gave me everything I needed at a lower price point. It was delivered set up and ready to go with full tutorial--they even took my old tank of a grill. I can't recommend Mary and her team enough!

Thank goodness for the experts at The Bar-B-Que Barn - they saved our BBQ this weekend!…read more I have an extremely old Skyline Series Weber grill, and when we ran out of propane the new tank didn't fit the hose on the grill. A trip to Home Depot yielded an adaptor that didn't fit, and with 3 hours till BBQ time, I was getting desperate. I called The Bar-B-Que Barn and spoke with one of the guys there, and when I described the problem he knew exactly what I was talking about and how to fix it. I ran over to their store in Arlington and in five minutes he had produce the piece that I needed to convert the hose on my old grill into one that would fit a standard propane tank, and even put some sealant on the piece so it wouldn't leak when I installed it. He gave me a quick tutorial on how to perform the minor surgery needed to install the new piece and told me to invest in a 9/16ths wrench and I was on my way. After arriving home, I was able to fix the grill in less than five minutes, and thanks to The Bar-B-Que Barn, when 20 guests showed up for dinner the grill was cookin'! If you live in Arlington, Cambridge, Somerville, or anywhere in the surroudning area, I highly reccomend a trip to The Bar-B-Que Barn to fill or exchange your propane tank or stock up on grill accessories! They might even offer you a hot dog fresh off the grill while you are there :)

Was a little challenging just because that visit requires a refundable deposit and I was trying to compare prices with competitors.
