Dr. Redfeldt has been my ENT for years. She literally saved my life when through her constant…read moreattention to details, she detected a very rare Cancer in my nose. She operated on that Cancer, removed it and then arranged to have a great Radiation specialist do the follow-up radiation. I have been Cancer free for over 14 years now. I was told I would lose my Salivary glands due to the extreme radiation required, but the specialist she brought in was able to prevent any further problems. If not for her dedication and thoroughness I doubt I would be writing this now. Since then she has been my go to ENT and I have never been disappointed with her. I highly recommend Dr. Redfeldt for all your INT needs. She is a great physician. The depth of her knowledge is unmatched and She really cares for her patients.

Although I would always give Dr. Raquel Redtfelt a 5 star review as a specialist in her field I can…read morenow only give her 1 star for how I have been treated through the Covid pandemic. I was having problems with my voice for the last 3 months and I felt uncomfortable swallowing at times. I scheduled an appointment for 9/23. 2 days later a person on her office staff called me and told me she would do a Telemedicine call only and if she saw fit, She would have me come in. GREAT! Docs are now charging patients their full copay, mine is $30 for a telephone consult an then charge another $30 to come into the office to be checked. $60.....come on! So, I call my other ENT in Phoenix. They told me by all means, come in, we even have an opening tomorrow. So I went in and had a full exam. He even scoped my throat by putting a endoscope in my nose and down my throat and had me make certain sounds. The Dr. found some problems that I will not go into her but he told me to discontinue an inhaler that I was using that was prescribed by another Dr. He also said some of my problem may be due to acid reflux and I may have to change from OTC meds to something more suited for my condition. So tell me, how could that diagnosis been made via the phone? It wold have cost me $60 instead of $30. This Telemdicine this is a racket, a licence for doctors to increase their bottom line. They can charge you your deductible and code whatever they want to the insurance company. I have already dismissed 3 of my long term docs for bad practices like this. I dismissed my PCP last November after 15 years. I was in a car accident and went to the hospital emergency. The Hospital told me to see my PCP and follow up in 3 weeks with my PCP. My normal copay is $20 to my PCP and he wanted $150, what a rip for a follow up. I told them I am a patient for 15 years, they told me that they asked the Dr. and he said that is the rate.I tried to get the Dr. to change it but no go, so I quit his practice also. Why do doctors feel it is ok to fleece ther patients.

Review for people with allergies. Please read if you are going here for allergies…read more The process was rushed, the explanations of what was going to happen was disjointed and incomplete. The doctor portion is the appointment was frustrating because the doctor doesn't think about how he is talking and not taking anytime to ensure the patient understands. The issue is I didn't know what I didn't know so he plowed through what he wanted to say and then recorded his notes in the room that he explained everything to the patient even though I felt I had little grasp of not only what was going to happen, but half the terminology he was using. The process of testing for allergies was inexplicably confusing and convoluted with what was going to happen and what was happening. During the appointment with the doctor, again he was talking so fast I didn't get a lot. I was trying to focus and take notes but it was impossible. He listed off that I was allergic to 25+ things but didn't give me any kind of list or making sure I understood what that meant. He then tried to open the CT scan they sent me to get. They had asked me to bring a physical copy of the scan so I asked and the imaging place gave me a CD. He tried and said he could t open it. Not the right type of file. This bugs me. I can get a program to open any file on the internet, but a doctors office who looks at imaging for a specialty can't get software to look at a file from one of the biggest medical providers in the country? What is the file 128bit encryption they were just willing to give me on CD as I walked out the door? Then he blew through my two options. Shots: you have to commit to coming to the office every week for up to three years! You cannot give them to yourself (even though I give myself 2 other shots per week of much more dangerous drugs than allergy serum) because there might be a reaction. When asked about the cost of the shots I was told what my insurance doesn't pay, I will have to pay. When asked about the weekly shot visits, he made it sound like there wasn't a cost but talking with my insurance it would be the regular copay for dr appointment That means this option will cost me $120-150 a month. Nope. Drops: $2 a day per vial of serum. I needed 3-4 vials. Monthly cost is $180-240 a month. Nope. Did more research. Most people don't have success with shots because they don't stick with it. Who has time to visit the Dr office each week? Drops are just as bad. The cost is usually prohibitive. Now, not only do I feel that I don't have any good options, I don't feel like I even have a doctor who is an advocate for me. I feel like I wasted $460 for the three appointments and I am back to researching air purifiers and over the counter drugs. I don't feel comfortable going back and I am not comfortable with this office treating me.

My experience with this office was really disappointing. I made an appointment over the phone, was…read moregiven a time, date, place, and the doctor I was seeing. So far so good. However, after receiving a confirmation call where they repeated my appointment and everything, I showed up to this office and the receptionist was no help. She said I was at the wrong location. Even though I was told this location COUNTLESS times. Then she said that the doctor I was seeing isn't even in on Friday's. It was actually at the Tempe location (which was so much more helpful), but was also another 45 minutes away. I would've been late for my appointment. I understand things get mixed up but she was so incredibly rude to I had to ask her to call and tell them what happened. She called them, and slapped down a stack of paperwork on the counter, and proceeded to help the next customer. Without saying anything to me. Should I still go to the other location? She told me that I had to just figure it out. She was so rude and not helpful at all. The other location was SO much nicer. They moved my appointment to a later time that day and have been extremely understanding and empathetic. Doctors at the Mesa should be really upset because they're losing patients. This is an updated review: I went in for another follow up appointment as my ear infections have come back in May 2019. After trouble with this office and getting treatment at the other office in Tempe, unfortunately they didn't have any appointments available at the Tempe location and I HAD to come here. I kept an open mind and just wanted to get some treatment and some answers about my ear infections. First of all, when I walked in and walked up to the counter I didn't need to show any form of ID or copay. I figured they'd just bill me but all they asked for was my name but no verification. That felt weird to me. Second of all the doctor who saw me was very condescending. He kept asking me "How do you know you have an ear infection are you a doctor?" Of course I know when I have an ear infection because this has been an ongoing issue for over two years now, and he clearly must have not read my file. I also explained how my visit at the other location went, and what treatment they did and the hearing and pressure tests they did. He didn't have ANY record of that. All he saw on my file that he had was that I came in and walked out. That really rubs me the wrong way, an office that doesn't keep accurate records or documentation of their patients. I will be switching my specialists after many disappointments with this office, I recommend others to do the same. This is your health, this is important.

Just go somewhere else. I got referred there after I broke out in hives. So remember I'm itchy ALL…read morethe time this happened, sometimes more sometimes less, ALWAYS ITCHY though. After my initial consult they lost me as a patient for two weeks. Took a couple days of leaving messages in the MA's mailbox before I stumbled on the only way to ever get a message through to anyone is through scheduling. But then you start to run into the shrew factor going through scheduling/front office staff. Don't get me wrong, they don't recruit specifically, I don't think. Not everyone I encountered was a shrewlike harpy just waiting for their turn to make mouth noises at you, sometimes so much so you don't get to finish yours or have to repeat the whole thing again. Some were very pleasant and you only had to say something once. But it was at least 60/40 maybe 70/30, shrews/pleasant. So they ran some tests. Took a couple weeks. Put me on some meds. Tests came back. Need more tests. Meds they just put me on that's only effect was to delay my ability to take the test by 6-8 weeks, and keep feeling doped as hell and, scratching like I'm trying to win the Oscar in Ray. So I get the test done. Now LabCorpPatient is involved here so I'm not entirely sure who to fire the "blamezooka" at on the next few they both appear to have a history of suckage. But the test gets lost. Next test, messed up somehow(effing weeks). Final test, get reffered to specialist. To kinky to go into, don't want to violate the HIPPO. Anyway I took two buses over an hour to go to my last visit. I had to fill out paperwork for conditions I didn't have, unlace my boots, (bus=walking=boots) take em off for height (umm, the same), weight (@247# w/3to5# boot, you're looking at 1-2% of the total weight is boot. No dosing is that accurate) lace 'em back up, get BP temp, someone asking me questions I just answered with things I said, a 15 minute wait, to fill out paperwork to order a shot they said I was coming in to get. The ordering has gone awry. After being tired of being cut off, repeating myself, and general lack of competence. I expressed my displeasure, I'll admit when met with snotty and haughty tones I returned fire. And near the end I was so flustered I may have treated a pleasant unfairly. Anyway they've sent me a breakup letter, I've filed a grievance with my insurance. By all means if this is the experience you're looking for give them a call.
