I have had two visits now. Each time the visit was pleasant. The first was in early November. I was…read morereferred to this ENT office due to an abnormal thyroid ultrasound. I waited at least a week before calling to set up an appointment because I know it takes time for them to process the referral. When I called to make the appointment, the person I spoke to was kind, professional and very helpful. I saw Dr. Perlstein at the Tempe location. He was kind, knowledgeable and explained what was on my ultrasound in a way I could understand. He said I would need a biopsy, and thus a referral was sent to banner, and I was on my way. Fast forward to the end of December, my biopsy was done and I returned to Dr. Perlstein for the results. My husband, Dr. Perlstein and myself discussed the results and subsequent treatment options. Dr. Perlstein was great again at explaining things on the biopsy and different options on what to do. His nursing staff is horrible at returning calls let's just say they don't return calls and never bother to call you back with important lab results even after several left messages. He is an amazing Doctor but his staff is not able to communicate. I wish I could recommend him 100% but with his staff the way they are. If you are fine with not getting answers to very important questions ( Ex: Cancer pathology results) then this is the place for you. Only giving .
