I've been a client at All Four Paws in Suisun City, CA for the past 2-3 years, but my most recent…read moreexperience has left me deeply concerned and disappointed. First, I was shocked to see the clinic owner publicly posting dogs' photos, medical records, and medical histories online in response to a review they did not agree with. As a client, this felt highly inappropriate and alarming. Whether intentional or not, it raises serious concerns about privacy, professionalism, and ethical boundaries. Clients should never fear that their pet's medical information could be shared publicly as retaliation. Second, in all my years coming to this clinic, I have never once been allowed to speak directly with a veterinarian or see a vet in person--not during exams, not during treatment discussions, not ever. You're not permitted to go inside for an appointment, and all communication is filtered through front desk staff or nurses. Instructions and recommendations are relayed secondhand, which leaves you wondering: Is there even a vet on duty? As a paying client, this lack of transparency is unsettling. The front desk staff often appear disgruntled, and while the nurses do their best, they are the only point of contact you ever get. Medical guidance should come directly from a licensed veterinarian--not passed along indirectly while the client remains completely removed from the process. My breaking point came when my dog contracted a virus. At a time when empathy, reassurance, and clear communication were critical, the response I received was cold and dismissive. After spending nearly $3,000 on exams and prescriptions, the complete lack of compassion was heartbreaking. I felt like a transaction--not a concerned pet parent. If you're looking for a clinic where you may never see a veterinarian in person, where communication is indirect, and where the focus appears to be more on revenue than genuine care, then All Four Paws may be for you. However, if you want transparency, empathy, and a vet who actually speaks with you and treats you like a human being--not just a bill--consider going elsewhere. There are other vets in the area who truly care. The contrast between the level of care provided and the image presented (including luxury vehicles prominently parked out front) only adds to the discomfort. Trust is essential in veterinary care, and unfortunately, that trust has been lost here.

This has been the best vet hospital from the beginning to the end of my dog, Bubba's life. They…read morehave showed much love and care for him, and even more so in the last few months when he was diagnosed with lymphoma. They talked to me about his diagnosis, the expectations for his life, interventions, treatments, and palliative treatment . They gave various estimates for the treatments to help me make an informed decision. If I had my way, I would keep him alive forever, but I couldn't do that to my boy. We let him go peacefully. I'll reach out to this place again one day when I find another fur baby, they've been incredibly compassionate.

I usllay dont come on here and talk about businesses but I just had to rate this Vet, i didnt know…read morehow bad they were until I went to another Vet and actually got treated with some decency, they tried to charge me over $2,000 to put my dog out and look in his ear, i said no it just needs to be cleaned they said they were professianls and i was wrong about just the cleaning, well I bought some dog ear cleaning soluton off Amazon and few days later my dog was fine. They treat you as if your a pet yourself, every time I tried to order pet meds they would just decline it so I found out through 1-800 pet meds, Im not sure if they were pissed that i didnt buy it from them or what, but instead of declining it why not call me and say "hey we just recived this order from 1-800 pet meds but we dont have this record on file why dont you stop by so we can do the checkup" Nope I have to be the one to reach out to them, I would give this place 0 stars if I could, there was never a single person in there that looked happy or could talk to me like an adult, NEVER TAKE YOUR PET HERE

Overall, VCA Benicia has a clean facility with staff that truly care and take the time with your kids. Today it became clear that Kathy chose to intentionally withhold my dogs records due to a previous incident that I have written about in a previous yelp review. Today I took my dogs to a new vet and when I got there, the vets didn't have a copy of my dog records. So they asked me to give them the number to Animal Advocates and so I did and Kathy answered the phone and based on what my new vet said Kathy was very dismissive and very rude and told my new vet that she was too busy to send over my dogs records. As I stated before they were requested two days ago. Normally, I really wouldn't sweat two days, but my Spidey senses were telling me that there may or may not be an issue with Kathy based on our last interaction. Kathy is not the kind of employee you want to run your front office because she's not a good look for the business. Kathy forgets that she works for somebody. So her actions reflect on the doctor and he probably doesn't even know that his employee is acting in such a poor manner Thank God for yelp. Be aware when you go to Animal Advocates because they will turn on you in a heartbeat regardless of how long you have been a loyal customer. All I can say to Kathy is, do better boo. Thank you yelp I appreciate the platform. Have a great day everybody.
