If I could rate the services here no stars I would. I went in to get a second opinion about Lasik…read moreand PRK. Dr. Main was dismissive, rude and unhelpful. He wouldn't answer my questions with anything substantial and refused to help me get my test results. He told me to request it from my portal and when I logged into the portal there were no results to print or even reference what he did. I am so disappointed in the care of this facility. I will say the front desk people were very nice and even the nurse that did most of my testing was good and efficient. AFTER the visit was also terrible. They told me I would be dilated for 24 hours and I ended up being dilated for 72 hours and it messed up my work and whole week because I was preparing for an event that week that I couldn't work on because I couldn't see anything up close. I also couldn't drive well and almost had to call work off because the light was so painful. UPDATE: The doctor wouldn't write down my results and told me to get them at the desk which he clearly knew nothing about the process because they wouldn't give them to me at the desk. Then they tell me I can get the results for free online. I submitted a request for my documents on my portal and they said it would be free. Turns out a week after I requested them they're trying to charge me $42 on top of the $95 I already paid. Kellogg and U of M is just a money hungry store where they won't help you. I'm never coming back here.

Management from optometrist down through eyeglasses and service: in a word,…read moreterrible. 1) There was no warning verbally that prescription lenses could be redone once only; 2) Business seemed only interested to get you to the glasses salesperson for a new pair, including new frames; 3) Various people I've met reply that "Progressive lenses" manufacturing is very poor, bordering on a "lost art." Certainly the case here. 4) Since a wide layer of the population need this prescription, inform customer price could be higher and use a better lab/company to make them! After several complaints to the parent company: "2020 Family Vision" in Farmington, Hills [ or other locale ], I gave up. At this point, I can use this new pair for driving a car or bus, but must switch back to the old pair for computer writing, reading, and sales work at a business. My point, do recent reviews of all eyeglass & optometrist shops and choose wisely.

The professional I drew immediately realized my issue and got me scheduled with a procedure with a retina specialist personally. Like walked me to the reception desk and got on the phone personally to ensure I got in as soon as humanely possible. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this location and the terrific Dr Kaur. I'm so grateful.
