They didn't, however... they had a wonderful selection of clothes etc... we will have to go back to just shop to be shopping- not shopping with specific items in mind. For its quality of items and pricing I consider this to be one of the top women's boutiques - and that's saying a lot considering I would likely not fit into most of it. Normally when a shop caters to smaller sizes I have to mark it off my list, but Mamili offers so much more - purses, jewelry, sunglasses, shoes, home decor, men's and more. I'm so glad we were able to pop in this weekend. Jingle Fest meant the store was decorated for Christmas and I picked up an adorable Santa figure that can be mounted around our fireplace. We were also obsessed with their mini TVs that lit up holiday scenes and played music. I snagged a pair of shades and my husband took home raspberry jalapeño jam the store was sampling. I also tossed a couple of mulling spices into our bag and can't wait to buy a gallon of apple cider (maybe a side of bourbon?). The service at Mamili is fantastic. Friendly and helpful. They told us they offer private shopping events. I bet those would be amazing. I can't imagine friends not finding 1-2 items to take home. I encourage everyone to out this spot on their shopping list, for themselves or to gift someone else.

The store's owner, Sandra, is so approachable, and you can tell she's passionate about this. Alas, I have not yet had a need for their building products. But I have purchased several of the gift items they have in the store -- another reason to check it out! Honest Home carries this fun line of cards with cut-out birds to be used in mobiles. It also has kits to build your own toys, and for Christmas, I particularly admired the ornaments and wood veneer Christmas tree garland. The store gets the veneer scraps from manufacturers, and it would have otherwise been thrown out. Honest Home brings its green mission to Christmas trees as well. And for home products, I've noticed that they carry recycled rugs, compost bins, flooring and countertops, lighting, cleaning products and paint. I am hoping to buy a home soon, so I'm looking forward to getting some green supplies to make over my new home. I'm holding out on the fifth star until then. I'm sure I'll continue to be impressed by Honest Home.

I ran into this store by accident and after visiting, here's what I understand. Ballard Designs is…read morea company owned by Williams Sonoma, and has a similar feel to it as Pottery Barn. This is the first outlet in Louisville and was originally announced as a temporary location; however, it must be doing well enough to have stayed in place. It took over the space vacated by the now bankrupt Steinmart. There is nothing fancy about this spot. It very much feels like a dumping site for furniture and is organized by type/room. It is a land of rejected, broken pieces. The signage attempts to excite you - 50% off or more - but then you flip the tag to find out it is still outrageously overpriced on top of being broken. The facility is large, and most workers were either at the front desk or helping people wedge items into their trucks. I appreciated watching the quiet nature of the staff today as a customer carried on a conversation with the customer service team via her cell phone. She was a lot to handle and you could tell they didn't want to escalate the situation. Apparently this spot has a following. Bring a large pocketbook ... and duct tape.

My first and only complaint about the place was that it was hard for me to find. It sits on the corner with a couple of other buildings and it's a very busy area and their signage was not clear to me so I passed it a couple of times before realizing exactly where it was. It wasn't immediately apparent that there was parking in the back either. Once we figured that out, it's all good from there. Magnolia & Fig provides a light and pleasant space to shop for clothing, accessories, and other knickknacks. We were greeted warmly by the attendant, and she gives us the option to browse or asked us if we were looking for something specific. Once we told her what my friend was looking for and her size, the attendant got right to work, pulling dresses for her to try from the racks. We were brought eight or 10 different dresses to try in a small but nicely decorated fitting area. The two employees worked together to bring us outfits to try, giving us space and time to try each one, but giving opinions and thoughts, when asked to. They were very kind patient and efficient. They were sensitive to the needs of my friend as related to her disability without talking down to her or making her feel out of place. It was a very positive experience and we found the perfect dress for my friend's event. In the store, you will find lots of ladies clothing options in addition to some jewelry, hats, shoes and even pretty things for the home. I think my friend paid about $150 for the gorgeous dress and the earrings that she purchased. We would both recommend Magnolia & Fig for a fun boutique experience and a nice selection of clothing to choose from.

If you're a girls girl you'll love it I promise. The staff are so friendly & helpful, but, don't give off stalker vibes. I hate that!!! So thank you for giving me space. Much appreciated. It's organized perfectly. Magnolia & Fig carries some unique brands of clothing, accessories & home decor. I chose a gorgeous summer dress, two bracelets and a necklace for my daughter. They have an awesome website to shop online and offer private shopping appointments. They're open Wednesday-Sunday. Check out their sales rack as well. I saw some great deals on cute dresses. I will definitely be going back & checking out more clothes & jewelry.
