Delicious food! We stayed at the Air bnb next door and there was a business card for this place, so we decided to go for breakfast. I got the eggs and bacon. The sourdough bread is the best I have had in a really long time. The bacon was smoky and delicious. Super cute inside and out. The staff was super friendly. Sometimes it's crowded and you have to be patient, but that's just part of being in a small establishment on a busy day. Best breakfast in Marfa, especially if you have dietary restrictions. It's not cheap, but it's a fair price for great fresh pastries and fresh ingredients made from scratch. Be sure to get a loaf of sourdough bread and a jar of peach habanero jam to take camping. read more

This place was a little pricey but totally worth it! I got the lox bagel plate and it was comparable to the one I got in Seattle. The ingredients were so fresh and tasty. Totally recommend for brunch or breakfast! So yummy! read more

I was really impressed by this place. I had the lox. The wife has a scrambled egg plate with lots of veggies and bacon. The girls split a waffle and a scone. All of us loved our meal. The service was great. The coffee was delicious. Great atmosphere. I recommend! read more

I didn't know what to expect with the Rosti but it did not disappoint! If it's a nice day out be sure to snag a spot on the outdoor patio area. The cinnamon waffle was also insanely delicious for a sweet treat in the morning! read more

Wow! GREAT breakfast. Cute stop on a side street. Half a dozen outside tables. We waited maybe 10minutes for our food on a Friday morning around 10ish. We had poached egg with Gruyere avocado and potato pancake. Really stellar! Wish I had hot sauce for it but that's just me. They probably have it. I just didn't think to ask. Got into town amid the tail end of winterpocalypse, so they were just getting back to operating. The walk was about 900ft from our bnb, ice was melting. Walking up, they had outdoor seating, but everything was still covered in snow, the entrance was around the side of the building from the road. Nice little spot indoors warm, smells nice. Obviously given the circumstance not many people were there. We(my brother, his wife, my girlfriend and I) ordered breakfast items. It was delicious. The bagels were a good density and a little airy. Eggs were cooked to a delicious temp, graters was good, bacon was perfect. Everyone liked their orders, though I didn't have theirs so I can only speak on mine. Little side salad was simple and tasty. We expect to pay more than what we would see back in Fort Worth so I had no issue with the price, but for reference 2 sandwhiches and 2 drinks was a little over $30 with a 20% tip. The clerk was friendly and ordering was easy and concise. The experience was overall great. read more

Aster's is my favorite place. I have severe ulcerative colitis & most days I wake up with a horrible headache and nausea. It's hard for me to eat anything. Tabitha makes the most wonderful, healing, fresh juices you can imagine. She also makes golden milk that tastes like a warm hug from someone you love. The vibe is cute, pleasant and well done. All the food is fresh. There are options for everyone. The baked goods are damned good. I love it here. read more

Food is great but the service is terrible. Waited 35 minutes for food but couple right before us got food right away. Couple after us got same menu item served before us. Orders placed at the counter so tip happens before the service. Next time no tip until after the meal. Brunch menu on sat and and Sunday with a good selection. read more

I had the rosti with smoked salmon. The dish was served with a truly awful cream sauce, which I had to scrape off. It tasted musty like it was made with dried dill or other dried herb, rather than with fresh herbs. Also, the smoked salmon was a cheap grade. The egg dishes looked better. If I ever go back - and that's a big if - I'll try one of the Benedict's. read more
