Master bedroom and lanai. What a view!

We found this hotel through Costco. This was great because the unit was good size. It was a two bedroom, two bathroom, full kitchen with living room with pullout queen bed. The lanai was beautiful and had the most gorgeous view of the beach and ocean. The staff was exceptional and very accommodating. Valet service was excellent. They parked our vehicle and had it ready on a moments notice when we wanted to go out somewhere. They brought our bags to our room and were so happy and helpful. Jessica at the front desk helped check us in and escorted us to our room. We were greeted with leis, juice and moist towels. We were given a complimentary beach bag with our own water bottles, and sunscreens. We had chocolates as a gift on the table at arrival as well. The hotel upgraded us to an unobstructed view of the beach on the 7th floor. We were awestruck by the beauty. We were welcomed to a beautiful unit with hawaiian music playing from the stereo in the background. The welcome was so wonderful. We had a beautiful pool and spa to use and a very nice weight room as well. Water refill stations were available all around the hotel which was also a nice bonus. The walk to the beach was just outside the hotel doors. We loved every minute of our stay and didnt want to leave. Thank you to all the staff of this hotel. We would love to come back. You set the bar with your attention to detail and exceptional customer service. Thank you for all you did to make our stay unbelievable!

I have to say, Mahalo to each person at this great Hotel everyone was great friendly and did not missed a thing or detail. From every question we had and every answer they gave help us made better choices, but please do know that every family is different and it also takes both sides to make it a great experience. I would highly recommend this Hotel, due to service, location and views. As an add on just know if your planning to see the fire works on friday, from this floor all you can see is just the top of the fireworks but you can just be at the beach and see it from there as the beach is just accross the st. Mahalo from our familia to yours,

We had an amazing stay at the Aston Waikiki Beach Tower. Our two-bedroom suite was spacious with a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, and beautifully updated bathrooms with bidets. The pool is on the smaller side, but is heated and never crowded. Although the hotel doesn't have on-site restaurants, there are tons of options nearby. The location is perfect, though the hotel's insulation could use some improvement, as it was a bit noisy at night, but the view of both the beach and Diamond Head made up for it. The front desk staff and valet were super friendly and helpful. Would stay again

This hotel is in a perfect location for reaching tons of foodie spots, the beach, the boardwalk, and the zoo... The rooms were perfect and the kitchen plenty... Staff were helpful and always had a smile. The parking for the week was super reasonable, and plenty for sure... Note that the parking is open to the public also, so if you're driving in the area and need parking, this is the place!!! The Only one thing keeps this place from being 5 stars is the elevators. Sometimes, you would be waiting what seemed like an eternity to catch one of them... I think they should have a service elevator for staff because the carts take up space, and with all the people staying here, every inch of the elevator is definitely needed. The price for our stay and parking were suoer reasonable I would definitely come back here to stay with my family!!!

If you're looking for a place to stay that is reasonably priced, close to the beach (two minute walk), and has a full size kitchen, this place is for you. The two bedroom suite was perfect for our family with kids under the age of three. Huge living room and enough space for the six of us. It was our home away from home. Amazing service right from the minute we arrived. We gave our name, they were ready for us. Gave us shell necklaces, welcome drinks, and wet towels. The front desk person walked us right to our room to show us around and how things worked and gave us a goodie bag with full size reusable water bottles, beach/water toys for the kids, and toiletries for sunbathing. There were also complimentary cans of Hawaiian drinks in the fridge. Awesome! I've never felt so welcomed at a hotel. The main bedroom was beautiful, but the smaller room was less decorated and had a musk to it. They also had bidets in both bathrooms. So fancy. I loved it! We would definitely come back again. Close to everything. It's even right next to a 24 hour McDonald's if you have the munchies.

This is a top notch hotel if you are staying with a big family and wants all inclusive suites. The suites we got came with full kitchen and a Zojirushi rice cooker. The rooms were super clean, modern and had an amazing view. We got upgraded to the ocean view 2 bedroom suites. The staff are extremely friendly, courteous, and takes covid protocols very seriously. Which made us feel more comfortable staying here even more. It is located right across the street from Waikiki Beach and has an amazing view of the beach and ocean. You can get your sunset view every evening on the balcony.

Trip for a birthday celebration, pre-COVID. Booked the Aston Waikiki Beach Tower 2bdr/2ba condo. Pros: Great location and convenient to Waikiki beach, restaurants, shopping, etc Ocean view! (Patio runs the width of the room) Larger room (approx 1200 sqft) Full kitchen (with plates, small appliances, cookware, etc) Large living room for a movie night (plus couch is a pull out bed) Valet parking Friendly and helpful staff Cons: Bedrooms/bathrooms need updating and do not have a view of ocean (at least the tower I was in) Pool is very small Grill needs to be reserved (and staff was 15-30 minutes late to start up grill for us) Housekeeping unpredictable (1 day did not show up, and the rest of the time they came at different times of day) Elevators can take a while, depending on crowds Valet parking has same issues as elevators

Full ocean view from our balcony

This is a Spectacular property and excellent location. Beach/Ocean View. Close to everything! All the ladies at the desks ( Mary, Alesa, Cindy, Yumi, Serena, and Jessica) and gentlemen outside were absolutely incredible. Especially Talen, he was incredible and so helpful. Everyone went above and beyond. Lots of Attention to detail and extremely kind with caring hospitality. We had a lovely time and enjoyed every moment. I highly recommend Waikiki Beach Tower. You will have the time of your life! We will continue to stay at this resort for future trips.

First time staying @ Aston Waikiki Beach Tower and let me start off by describing this property in one word: WOW!! My girlfriend and I were lucky enough to spend our 4 day trip in Oahu here on the 32nd floor. The suite was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had the most amazing balcony view. This living space came equipped with a nice living room, dining area, fully furnished kitchen, the craziest toilets I have ever seen [in a good kind of way]!! The hotel also provides a fitness center, private pool that is perfect for your little ones, and events such as wine tasting, hula lessons, & ukulele lessons [all complimentary]. Customer service was courteous from the very start of our stay until the very very end. Hospitality really doesn't get any better than this. 5 solid stars. I'd make a return here in a heartbeat.

The Banyan Wing is the original Victorian-era building which is listed on National Historic Registry and houses the main lobby and restaurant. The number of guests and visitor who circulate through this property daily is incredible. Including the Tower and Surfrider Wings, it has 791 rooms. Our Tower room had a great covered patio with incredible views of Waikiki and Diamond Head. We spent a lot of time on the patio watching the surfers, catamarans, and enjoying the island breeze. Our balcony was spectacular :o Our room was updated and very comfortable. I understand the owners completed a full renovation of all rooms in 2026. The beach bar is one of the best in the world. Cold cocktails, beer and wine. Good service. Great views! The drawbacks.... The pool is small and very crowded, especially for 791 rooms. With that said everyone in the pool was smiling and having fun. The beach is also pretty small for such a massive hotel. At high tide the hotel only has about 30 feet of beachfront and it is a public beach so it is crowded Rio style. For us this was not a drawback as we love Waikiki, the birthplace of Hawaiian surfing, and spend most of our time in the surf. Hawaii and Waikiki is one of the few places that completely lives us to the hype year after year and generation after generation. We can't wait to return. Aloha & Mahalo

So much history as shown throughout the resort especially on the second floor, but also the open Victorian architecture which presents a relaxing atmosphere. Our friends thought we were "rich" for being able to stay here but I don't recall the prices being too different than other hotels in the area. We also got a great offering through the American Express card. We arrived on island early afternoon and attempted to stay up as late as possible. However, we were given a room on the second floor of the historic side of the hotel where they host events on the patio area outside our room. While we were trying to sleep at 8-9pm, a festive wedding was going on with their DJ blasting music, people dancing, yelling, the DJ trying to motivate the audience, etc. It was not a fun night as my wife complained to the hotel staff about the noise interfering with our ability to sleep. It's not the fact the wedding was occuring, but rather the fact the hotel staff didn't let us know they were putting us next to the hotel night club of sorts. Hawaii is typically laid back and quiet, which this was not. The hotel staff sympathisized and mentioned the wedding would be finished by 10pm which it was, and tried to make things better. On day 3 around 4am, the hotel fire alarm sounded and advised everyone to vacate the building. When we vacated, we learned it was a false alarm. This was our last day at the Moana Surfrider which we assumed was a sign the resort wasn't meant to be a relaxing experience for us. The hotel has activities associated with the resort fee such as yoga, that we registered for. It was my first time doing yoga despite mention by my wife over the years to do it. I figured it would be a pleasant surprise for her if I signed us up, and it was a great class out on the same patio area as the wedding. I won't say it was fun for me, but it was an experience that we both enjoyed. The room itself was small which I assume is because it was part of the historic side of the hotel. There wasn't a balcony which we've come to appreciate especially in Hawaii to be able to go outside, view the water, and smell the air. Instead there was a window which we tried to orient ourselves in to get a picture of us with our welcome leis and Waikiki Beach in the background. Very challenging to appreciate a window as well as find space in the room to lay out two large suitcases without having to relocate furniture. The shower leaked water onto the bathroom floor as the cracks in the glass were not sealed so there was a constant wet towel on the floor. The bathroom in general didn't seem very modern considering the hotel had recently undergone years of modernization. Housekeeping was good and treated us well with towels and drinking water. I believe the Tower rooms of the hotel might be more modern and larger, as well as away from the event area of the hotel. I think we would look at other options in the future as we also spent a few days each during this trip at the Sheraton and The Royal Hawaiian which provided a much different experience in comparison.

WORDS TO DESCRIBE Halepuna Hotel: Modern, clean, safe, economically and environmentally friendly (bamboo room cards, water dispensers for your reusable water bottles), bright, airy, quality service in hospitality and room service LOCATION I loved staying at the Halepuna Hotel. It was centrally located at the beach walk, so ABC Store, shops, restaurants, and the beach were all within walking distance. *It was difficult finding the location of the hotel, when we first arrived. There was no big sign that you can spot, while you're driving, so my landmarks I always looked for were the ABC Store and Denny's. STAFF/SERVICE: Everyone that we came across during our stay was very friendly, generous, kind, and attentive. A shoutout to the Valet Service crew, especially RJ. He gave us recommendations for where to go. He always made us smile and laugh with his jokes. Thank you Uncle! AMENITIES: ROOMS Our room was equipped with charge stations-usb and usb c compatible plugs, ironing board/iron, mini fridge, ice bucket, tea kettle, and coffee maker. BATHROOM Well stocked with towels, a drying cord, blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I appreciated that instead of your standard toilet, the hotel had bidets! *Great water pressure for showering. The tub was also spacious, if you wanted to take a bubble bath. 8TH FLOOR GYM-Equipped with a lot of machines Water dispenser Additional restrooms/shower room LAUNDRY ROOM is open 24/7 There are 3 washers and 4 dryers You can pay using your credit card or download the WASH CONNECT app *Friendly suggestions: -As a guest, bring your own laundry soap/dryer sheets--or go to the ABC Store if you forget your laundry supplies -Make sure to clean the lint trap before you put your clothes in -Put a timer on your phone to check on your clothes GARDEN -Serene, tranquil, peaceful, spacious -------- Friendly Suggestions for Halepuna Hotel -Have a big sign stationed outside the hotel, perhaps elevate the height of the sign and add lights to it, so it's easy to spot for first time visitors ------- All in all I enjoyed staying at the Halepuna Hotel. I worked incredibly hard to bring my family to Hawaii, and I am extremely disappointed that so much of our time at Hilton Hawaiian Village was spent dealing with problems that should never have become our responsibility. Over three nights, we experienced two separate water leaks and repeated hot-water issues. These weren't minor inconveniences--they significantly disrupted our family vacation. The worst night, I slept approximately two hours. With water leaking into our room, I chose to stay awake and deal with the situation myself because I didn't want maintenance repeatedly coming into the room and waking my 1-year-old and 3-year-old children. Instead of resting and enjoying the next day with my family, I was exhausted because I had essentially spent the night protecting my children's sleep while dealing with the hotel's maintenance problem. That is unacceptable at a resort of this caliber. Management eventually provided compensation, and I appreciate that they acknowledged the situation. However, I absolutely do not believe the compensation matched the severity of what we experienced. I didn't work all year and spend thousands of dollars bringing my family to Hawaii to spend a significant portion of our vacation calling guest services, dealing with leaks, worrying about hot water, and effectively helping manage Hilton's property. Money can be refunded. Vacation time with my children cannot. For the price and reputation of this resort, our experience fell dramatically below what any family should reasonably expect.

Once my room became available I dropped off my luggage and then went directly to the beach. When I returned I did notice some areas of concern where the room was not very well cleaned. Instead of calling housekeeping I went directly downstairs to the front desk. Front desk personnel were busy as there were only 2 people assisting the long line of quests. I decided I'll just deal with the room uncleanliness later. Please be advised that I did take pictures. Once I checked out on Sunday, March 8th, I advised the front desk personnel my concerns. The manager Ira listened to my concerns as I showed her my pictures. She immediately apologized and ask that I email the pictures to their corporate office. Which I did once I arrived back to the mainland. In the room there's a finger or toenail clipping on the carpet between the console and couch. Also you can also see that portion of the carpet has not been vacuumed. The clothed bench in front of bed was extremely stained and filthy. So filthy that I covered the bench with a bath towel if I needed to sit down. Also the refrigerator was very dirty. I chose not to put any food items in the fridge because of this. Also the bottom of the toilet is stained with either fecal matter, urine or maybe it's rust. If so, clean it then use caulking. These are the concerns I have with room 403. This hotel is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World. So you know it has the highest standards. That brand has never steered me wrong. And the fact that it is not under a massive hotel chain umbrella means it can maintain its authentic individuality. Pro tip: if you have a late flight, there is a lounge where you can relax and prepare for your departure, as check out is 11am.

Extremely rude and unprofessional service coming from one of the male bartenders…read more I was accosted while coming out of the restroom , with him frantically asking if I paid the tab, treating me like some sort of criminal. The restroom is in the restaurant area. I never once left the restaurant throughout the entire evening. I was simply on my way to pick up my drink from the seating area and then head to the bar to pay. He told me I was "going the wrong way" when the way I was going would have led to me to the bar... The way this team handles tabs in this bar is abysmal. Right when I sat down, I was attempting to give my bartender my credit card to start a tab. They refused to accept my card and said don't worry about it, and that they'll take it after I'm done. I explicitly told the bartender that I was going over to the lawn right next to the bar (still in the restaurant area) to get a better view of the musical performance, drink in hand. They said go ahead. Nobody should be treated like this

TRANQUILITY! 4.8…read more We stayed here during the first half of our most recent trip to the island, mainly to compare it with another property/residence that we really like and wanted to make a direct comparison. We also used our American Express Platinum Hotel Credit benefit, and it was great that this hotel qualified for it. Ka Laʻi is one block from the beach, backing up to Fort DeRussy Park, a military reservation, and is surrounded by many shops and restaurants, especially along Luxury Row, which is a non-negotiable visit for us. There is so much aloha felt here, with the staff always greeting us with genuine smiles and a willingness to help. The hotel is quiet and soothing, perfect for a relaxing stay. We checked in seamlessly and were provided with cold, refreshing water upon our arrival. Our room was spacious and felt very cozy, with beige carpet and tile flooring, brown furniture, and dark cabinetry in the kitchen. In the seating area, there was a large full-size sofa, an upholstered side chair, and a coffee table. The long dresser and closet provided plenty of storage. A lovely welcome treat was left in our room: two Ka Laʻi reusable water bottles, Hawaiian semi-sweet chocolate, and Beach Brittle. These items were a very nice touch. If you feel inclined to enjoy more Beach Brittle, you can purchase it downstairs in the small shop next to the spa. The bathroom had a double-sink vanity with plenty of counter space, which is a must for me, a large soaking tub, and a wet shower area. It was a generously sized bathroom with plenty of room to move around. Our stay included a wonderful breakfast buffet at Inyō. There was an omelet station with a chef preparing made-to-order omelets, along with a variety of beautiful fresh fruit, hot and cold breakfast items, rice, and Asian-inspired bites. The infinity pool is located near the restaurant, Inyō. It's tiled in a beautiful blue that adds a nice contrast to the tan backdrop of the neighboring high-rise buildings. The pool is long and narrow, accented by a series of raised, tiled planter islands that provide a bit of privacy between guests. We were too busy to swim or enjoy the other amenities, but just walking around the grounds was incredibly relaxing. It's a very peaceful place to stay, unlike many of the larger hotel brands. The standout at this hotel was definitely the service. The staff always made eye contact, greeted us warmly, and either asked about or anticipated our needs. This is a hotel that is definitely worth returning to.

This place is absolutely wonderful. It's a little pricey, but wow. It's everything you need for…read moreyour stay, beach supplies like chairs, umbrella, toys, etc. They also had beach towels and a foot rinse right outside their entrance. That came in clutch as the beach showers were out of service. The valet people were so kind and got to know their patrons immediately. There were also so many people on stand by for your every beck and call. I especially loved the cafe located on the 7th floor on the way to the pool that had a full espresso machine for your needs. Those ladies that worked there were the best!! They were always ready for my redundant questions. The pool was spectacular. We went swimming during the sunset and it was just the coolest spot. There were plenty of kids swimming when we were there, so we felt at home having a small child as well. The pool has sunscreen ready, cold water, and towels for your pool session. Even though it didn't have bells and whistles, my daughter still enjoyed the child friendly ledges. We got the one bedroom suite with the kitchen and living room. We had two balconies with a partial view and they were both gorgeous. It got a little loud at moments due to the proximity of the downtown Waikiki energy, people playing music loudly on scooters and ambulances, but it never woke us up or annoyed us. I felt spoiled here. I properly pampered and I am excited to have an opportunity to stay again. Kid approved, mommy approved.
