Can you find the fireworks?
Arnu F.

I have to say, Mahalo to each person at this great Hotel everyone was great friendly and did not missed a thing or detail. From every question we had and every answer they gave help us made better choices, but please do know that every family is different and it also takes both sides to make it a great experience. I would highly recommend this Hotel, due to service, location and views. As an add on just know if your planning to see the fire works on friday, from this floor all you can see is just the top of the fireworks but you can just be at the beach and see it from there as the beach is just accross the st. Mahalo from our familia to yours,

We had an amazing stay at the Aston Waikiki Beach Tower. Our two-bedroom suite was spacious with a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, and beautifully updated bathrooms with bidets. The pool is on the smaller side, but is heated and never crowded. Although the hotel doesn't have on-site restaurants, there are tons of options nearby. The location is perfect, though the hotel's insulation could use some improvement, as it was a bit noisy at night, but the view of both the beach and Diamond Head made up for it. The front desk staff and valet were super friendly and helpful. Would stay again

This hotel is in a perfect location for reaching tons of foodie spots, the beach, the boardwalk, and the zoo... The rooms were perfect and the kitchen plenty... Staff were helpful and always had a smile. The parking for the week was super reasonable, and plenty for sure... Note that the parking is open to the public also, so if you're driving in the area and need parking, this is the place!!! The Only one thing keeps this place from being 5 stars is the elevators. Sometimes, you would be waiting what seemed like an eternity to catch one of them... I think they should have a service elevator for staff because the carts take up space, and with all the people staying here, every inch of the elevator is definitely needed. The price for our stay and parking were suoer reasonable I would definitely come back here to stay with my family!!!

Amazing views and hotel was spacious! Highly recommended. Staff was extremely nice and helpful.

If you're looking for a place to stay that is reasonably priced, close to the beach (two minute walk), and has a full size kitchen, this place is for you. The two bedroom suite was perfect for our family with kids under the age of three. Huge living room and enough space for the six of us. It was our home away from home. Amazing service right from the minute we arrived. We gave our name, they were ready for us. Gave us shell necklaces, welcome drinks, and wet towels. The front desk person walked us right to our room to show us around and how things worked and gave us a goodie bag with full size reusable water bottles, beach/water toys for the kids, and toiletries for sunbathing. There were also complimentary cans of Hawaiian drinks in the fridge. Awesome! I've never felt so welcomed at a hotel. The main bedroom was beautiful, but the smaller room was less decorated and had a musk to it. They also had bidets in both bathrooms. So fancy. I loved it! We would definitely come back again. Close to everything. It's even right next to a 24 hour McDonald's if you have the munchies.

This is a top notch hotel if you are staying with a big family and wants all inclusive suites. The suites we got came with full kitchen and a Zojirushi rice cooker. The rooms were super clean, modern and had an amazing view. We got upgraded to the ocean view 2 bedroom suites. The staff are extremely friendly, courteous, and takes covid protocols very seriously. Which made us feel more comfortable staying here even more. It is located right across the street from Waikiki Beach and has an amazing view of the beach and ocean. You can get your sunset view every evening on the balcony.

Trip for a birthday celebration, pre-COVID. Booked the Aston Waikiki Beach Tower 2bdr/2ba condo. Pros: Great location and convenient to Waikiki beach, restaurants, shopping, etc Ocean view! (Patio runs the width of the room) Larger room (approx 1200 sqft) Full kitchen (with plates, small appliances, cookware, etc) Large living room for a movie night (plus couch is a pull out bed) Valet parking Friendly and helpful staff Cons: Bedrooms/bathrooms need updating and do not have a view of ocean (at least the tower I was in) Pool is very small Grill needs to be reserved (and staff was 15-30 minutes late to start up grill for us) Housekeeping unpredictable (1 day did not show up, and the rest of the time they came at different times of day) Elevators can take a while, depending on crowds Valet parking has same issues as elevators

Full ocean view from our balcony

This is a Spectacular property and excellent location. Beach/Ocean View. Close to everything! All the ladies at the desks ( Mary, Alesa, Cindy, Yumi, Serena, and Jessica) and gentlemen outside were absolutely incredible. Especially Talen, he was incredible and so helpful. Everyone went above and beyond. Lots of Attention to detail and extremely kind with caring hospitality. We had a lovely time and enjoyed every moment. I highly recommend Waikiki Beach Tower. You will have the time of your life! We will continue to stay at this resort for future trips.

First time staying @ Aston Waikiki Beach Tower and let me start off by describing this property in one word: WOW!! My girlfriend and I were lucky enough to spend our 4 day trip in Oahu here on the 32nd floor. The suite was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had the most amazing balcony view. This living space came equipped with a nice living room, dining area, fully furnished kitchen, the craziest toilets I have ever seen [in a good kind of way]!! The hotel also provides a fitness center, private pool that is perfect for your little ones, and events such as wine tasting, hula lessons, & ukulele lessons [all complimentary]. Customer service was courteous from the very start of our stay until the very very end. Hospitality really doesn't get any better than this. 5 solid stars. I'd make a return here in a heartbeat.

Embassy suites Waikiki 2123…read more Bed - nice and comfy. Little movement from partner. Mattress was a Serta Perfect Sleeper Plush mattress. Hotel offers different types of pillows in the room and spare blanket in armoire. Also in the armoire is hangers, an ironing board and steaming iron, which came in handy for those wrinkled linen shirts mashed in my suitcase. The Bathroom. - one sink with a little counter top space but sufficient. The toilet was also bidet in the master bath. The shower pressure on 21st is ok but low, but it did the job. The Ac in room was awesome! It gets super cold, if you need it, quickly. It was nice for those hot humid days of walking in Waikiki. It had an In-room mini fridge and bar sink with 4 real drinking glasses, which I like. Hated there was no freezer in the mini fridge But the bell hop station offers to freeze ice packs, or whatever you need, for you. We had 3 sliding doors with west views and moderate views of Waikiki beach. The Second bedroom has own bath with also a single sink, toilet and shower- No bidet. The room/bedding/bathrooms were clean with no mold in the showers. The furniture showed a little wear but nothing excessive. The Elevators were fast! The pool, mangers reception and breakfast are all on the 4th Floor (terrace level). Breakfast was typical of Embassy Suites, I like the made to order omelette which makes it much better. Lots of fresh fruit and even some miso soup and other Japanese/Hawaiian offerings. The Staff was awesome and super friendly. I Used valet every day. Great service, fast and practical IMO but hard to swallow the daily fee. The hotel was attacked to the Waikiki beach walk. Island vintage coffee was a regular stop for coffee and sometimes breakfast. Order coffee or food to go online after 8am to save a ton of time standing in line. Hotel was Very close to all ththe shops. Awesome location. Much better location than Hilton Hawaiian village location!!! Our fav restaurant close by the hotel was Kana Pilla and Monkey Pod, which were across the street. Make sure to make Open Table reservations for both way ahead of time. I did mine 2 months out. Housekeeping willing to clean and supply new towels daily however linens are not cleaned but every 5 day, unless you request it, which they are happy to do! Views from 21st floor were awesome and all 21st floor rooms had extensive balconies. 3 sliding doors. Keep in mind Ac doesn't work, yes the fan blows, when the doors are open!! It's too humid at night to sleep with them open so we had them open for select times, mostly am. There's a Washer/dryer laundry room on site, 3rd floor only. It was Very convenient especially packing 4 days of clothes for a 10 day trip so our suitcases weren't stuffed . Use laundry room on sundays/mon or late evenings when people are too busy arriving and leaving. $5.25 to each wash load and I think $4.75 to dry. Washers only wash with cold which I like. Perm press on dryer seemed to dry all our shirts and socks well. We hung our nice Aloha shirts on the hangers in the room and they dried within a day. Washer and dryers take credit cards. Yes they're is a soap machine that also takes credit cards. I didn't use and just bought soap from ABC. ABC stores are EVERYWHERE so don't lug around suntan lotion or waters in your suitcase. Just buY at ABC which is only 20 steps away. FYI ABC doesn't no GIVE out bags for items unless you spend over a certain amount. ANC bags cost like .50 cents. ABC has Awesome poke and alcohol (spirit and beer) choices. Yes single purchase tall beers too. Don't forget the free brief fireworks show in front of the Hilton Hawaii Village on Friday nights only. We saw them set off at 7:45p by the lagoon. It's amazing how many people attend so be prepared for the crowds to and from. Big tip: make open table reservations for all your restaurants months ahead! All places are super busy until about 8:45 pm on most nights. Hope I helped.

WORDS TO DESCRIBE Halepuna Hotel: Modern, clean, safe, economically and environmentally friendly (bamboo room cards, water dispensers for your reusable water bottles), bright, airy, quality service in hospitality and room service LOCATION I loved staying at the Halepuna Hotel. It was centrally located at the beach walk, so ABC Store, shops, restaurants, and the beach were all within walking distance. *It was difficult finding the location of the hotel, when we first arrived. There was no big sign that you can spot, while you're driving, so my landmarks I always looked for were the ABC Store and Denny's. STAFF/SERVICE: Everyone that we came across during our stay was very friendly, generous, kind, and attentive. A shoutout to the Valet Service crew, especially RJ. He gave us recommendations for where to go. He always made us smile and laugh with his jokes. Thank you Uncle! AMENITIES: ROOMS Our room was equipped with charge stations-usb and usb c compatible plugs, ironing board/iron, mini fridge, ice bucket, tea kettle, and coffee maker. BATHROOM Well stocked with towels, a drying cord, blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I appreciated that instead of your standard toilet, the hotel had bidets! *Great water pressure for showering. The tub was also spacious, if you wanted to take a bubble bath. 8TH FLOOR GYM-Equipped with a lot of machines Water dispenser Additional restrooms/shower room LAUNDRY ROOM is open 24/7 There are 3 washers and 4 dryers You can pay using your credit card or download the WASH CONNECT app *Friendly suggestions: -As a guest, bring your own laundry soap/dryer sheets--or go to the ABC Store if you forget your laundry supplies -Make sure to clean the lint trap before you put your clothes in -Put a timer on your phone to check on your clothes GARDEN -Serene, tranquil, peaceful, spacious -------- Friendly Suggestions for Halepuna Hotel -Have a big sign stationed outside the hotel, perhaps elevate the height of the sign and add lights to it, so it's easy to spot for first time visitors ------- All in all I enjoyed staying at the Halepuna Hotel. We're not high-maintenance travelers--we simply appreciate the opportunity to spend quality time together, and every stay here creates lasting memories. One of our favorite conveniences is the ABC Stores on the property. They're reasonably priced and have surprisingly good sushi and poke bowls for a quick meal. This summer visit was noticeably busier than our fall stays. The pools were definitely crowded, and the village was packed with tourists. While people say tourism is down, that certainly wasn't our experience--it felt very lively throughout our stay. Instead of driving, we used Lyft to visit the Waikīkī International Market Place, which ended up being much cheaper than paying for parking and was well worth it. During this trip, we stayed in the Kalia Tower and loved our room's view overlooking the ocean, lagoon, harbor, and even the marketplace below. My husband also enjoyed using the fitness center. He mentioned it was busiest in the mornings and mid-afternoons, so evenings seemed like the best time to work out. One of the highlights of our stay was our daily feathered visitor--a pigeon that stopped by to greet us every day, which became a fun little tradition. Once my room became available I dropped off my luggage and then went directly to the beach. When I returned I did notice some areas of concern where the room was not very well cleaned. Instead of calling housekeeping I went directly downstairs to the front desk. Front desk personnel were busy as there were only 2 people assisting the long line of quests. I decided I'll just deal with the room uncleanliness later. Please be advised that I did take pictures. Once I checked out on Sunday, March 8th, I advised the front desk personnel my concerns. The manager Ira listened to my concerns as I showed her my pictures. She immediately apologized and ask that I email the pictures to their corporate office. Which I did once I arrived back to the mainland. In the room there's a finger or toenail clipping on the carpet between the console and couch. Also you can also see that portion of the carpet has not been vacuumed. The clothed bench in front of bed was extremely stained and filthy. So filthy that I covered the bench with a bath towel if I needed to sit down. Also the refrigerator was very dirty. I chose not to put any food items in the fridge because of this. Also the bottom of the toilet is stained with either fecal matter, urine or maybe it's rust. If so, clean it then use caulking. These are the concerns I have with room 403. Hopefully I'll be hearing from upper management in regards to my unpleasant stay in room 403. The best part of staying at this hotel was the show Auana which is located at this hotel. However, on my most recent trip, I decided to try the Hyatt Regency, thinking the lounge access and more resort-style atmosphere might be a better fit for my elderly parents. We booked three rooms for our family, and I can confidently say that this stay completely changed my perspective and that is largely thanks to Grace at the front desk. From the moment we arrived, Grace went above and beyond to make sure our check-in experience was seamless and welcoming. Traveling with elderly parents can sometimes be challenging, but she handled everything with such patience, warmth, and genuine care. She was incredibly attentive to our needs, thoughtfully ensuring that our rooms were convenient and comfortable for everyone in our group. Grace's hospitality exceeded all expectations and made our trip that much more memorable. It's rare to encounter someone who leaves such a lasting impression, but Grace absolutely did. Waking up to the ocean right outside our window made it all worthwhile. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but the front desk, maintenance team, and all the staff members we interacted with were all very friendly and really helpful despite the difficult circumstances. Their positive attitude made a big difference in our stay. The location is def a huge plus, lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance, making it super convenient. Not only did they gave us a warm welcome, but they provided plenty of accommodations for our baby. A baby robe which was the cutest, but also a diaper genie baby bath tub and toiletries. We were so impressed! The room views were amazing and our room was upgraded which was a super plus! Breakfast was amazing! Our favorites were their mochi pancakes. They did have construction during our stay, but nothing to really get in our way. The service and accommodation were amazing! Thank you for our great stay Ka La'i! See you hopefully soon!

The service from the front desk to the cleanliness of the rooms was just amazing! I also enjoyed how there were plenty of elevators to go to the hotel rooms and it was in one section. Super easy to find everything and overall I enjoyed my stay. The room itself was clean and modern, and the view was spectacular. I went to the pools which even have an adult-only pool area as well. I tried paddleboarding yoga one morning. Overall if you wanted to relax and chill in the hotel you could do it and it is walkable to all the shopping and food places in Waikiki. Would totally reccomend people to come to this hotel. A very centralized location and awesome spot.

There is no room in the adult pool area, people put towels on chairs and walk away and there's no chairs left for anyone else to use. It's fine to sleep here but it's a hassle to not have anywhere to sit down or lay out because it's so crowded or people just leave their dirty towels everywhere and hotel staff doesn't monitor to remove them until end of day. also we found a used tooth brush in our room! gross! Hawaii is beautiful, the hotel is not.
