I brought my phone in for repair and explained that the screen was not functioning and that the device had water damage. I was informed that replacing the screen was all that was needed for the phone to work properly. Cesar replaced the screen; however, after the repair, the phone no longer has Face ID, has no cellular signal, and cannot make phone calls. When I raised these issues, I was told it would cost an additional $100 to fix them, bringing the total to $260. I explained that the phone was still not functional after the screen replacement and that I did not want to pay for a new screen on a phone that remains broken. I was then told that I was still required to pay a service fee for opening and cleaning the phone. At this point, my phone is not repaired and is in worse condition than when I brought it in. I have been to this place before, tried to give them a 2nd chance recently and regretted it. For a simple data recovery, the owner Caeser wanted me to go to an electronic store across the street to buy a used computer similar to mine, claiming that was the only way to restore my data. When I was reluctant to do so, he kept being more and more pushy. He wanted $300 to restore all the data, then when I changed my mind and asked for my laptop back, he asked for $150 for his time. Not for the situation to escalate further and to get my laptop back, I paid him $100 even though he did nothing but waste my time. Even last time he was not able to help me and wasted my time. The tech repair guy, Cesar, was supposed to repair my laptop, charged me, and when I got home with my laptop it still wasn't working. No matter what I said, he kept asking to bring in my laptop to "fix it". I brought it in a second time, and still was not able to fix it. I am giving them 1 star because I spent 400 dollars + 80 tip to have them essentially do nothing for my computer except find ways to take my money (they did not fix the computer and returned it to me broken). The main thing is the computer repair man named Cesar seemed to come up with new things he had to "fix", which resulted in the extra charges. It all started when I gave him the computer to swap out the motherboard. Cesar said the motherboard was full functional and that he "didn't know who told me it needed swapping", and then he said that my Sandisk drive was broken instead, and that I would have to buy a new one (and that he could buy it for me and switch it out). But then, he swapped out the motherboard anyway without my consent, which made it impossible for me to return the original motherboard and get a refund at full price. So he clearly wanted to gain the fee of swapping it even though it didn't need swapping. On top of that, my hard drive was actually brand new, and it was also tried and proven to be working shortly before I gave the computer to them, so I am completely positive that there was nothing wrong with that drive. So Cesar charged me 400 (200 for the new drive, and 200 to swap out the motherboard and format the drive, and I gave him 80 as tip because he picked up and dropped of the computer). But then he did not return my original drive, and he said that he "threw it away" without my consent. This means that he could have sold my original drive to make an extra 200 bucks, and because it was my property, regardless of whether it was "broken" or not, it was illegal for him to "throw it away" in the first place. I could literally sue him in small claims court for property damage and win. On top of it all, when I brought up this issue and demanded that I have a refund for my original drive now that he "threw it away" without my consent, he completely ignored my emails. So after much reflection, I really wish I could say that I think Cesar is honest, but sadly, I can honestly say that this is not a fair and honest business. If they were, they would have never taken my 200 dollar device away from me against my will, they would have never executed an operation that they themselves said I didn't need (swapping out a fully functional motherboard), and they also wouldn't have completely ignored me when I made my valid case for a refund on my original 200 dollar drive that they supposedly threw away without my consent. And lastly, after all that money spent, they did not fix the computer one bit. It was the graphics card that was broken, so now I have to spend another 200 dollars for that. In short, find a more established business that won't do shady practices such as this one. If anything, it's simply not worth the risk or the headache, and they didn't even get the job done at the end of the day. read more

This place is very unprofessional, disrespectful to their customers. I came here to get my laptop repaired and paid over $300. After when I got it back, there were even more issues with the sensor keyboard pad, and my laptop ran even SLOWER. I came back and asked if they can fix it and they made me pay $200 but when I picked it back up a week later, the paint on my laptop was chipped, had scratches, and the corner screen was cracked. Definitely do not recommend, and did not get a refund. DON'T use this place! (if you care about your computers) I had my iphone battery replaced here two weeks ago. However, the battery he put in had shorter life than the original. As I just went back to point this out, the owner asked me to come back in 1h 30min. When I came back to pick it up he had not even opened the phone. He left the store and locked the shop and returned 25 minutes later with a new battery in a plastic bag, now asking me to wait while he put it in. I was held up for 1.5 hours for a job the tech said would take 40 minutes right before closing so I didn't want to walk out and miss getting my phone back the same day. More importantly, they replaced the screen but turns out I had another problem that only came up after the replacement (messed up "housing") which they could conveniently provide me for $70 (I think not). Cops didn't check, took his word. cops suggest putting back the broken screen, I say no, don't want him touching it. Cops agree he screwed up, suggest the Better Business Bureau. I shrug and pay the 35. Lol just noticed he has either 5 star reviews or 1 star reviews. Wonder which ones are real. Cesar, you don't have to work with customers if it's not your thing. I got my iPhone 7 fixed here back in December, started to have issues with it so I took it to Apple to find out there are a bunch of screws missing from the inside of the phone. I go back here to speak to them with hope of a well deserved refund. When I asked for it, the manager laughed in my face and told me there is no refund. I dropped off my laptop on a Wednesday and was told it would be ready on the following Tuesday the latest. Tuesday came and went, so I rang on Wednesday and was told it would be ready the next day, Thursday. I asked if I could pick it up Saturday and was told that would be fine. I arrived at 10:30 am Saturday to be told that it would be ready at noon. Not once was I ever contacted regarding my laptop for which I had paid 400$ up front for repair. When I took issue with it, he was deflective and indignant. I asked if I could pick it up the next day and was assured they were open. I rang the next morning and was rudely told it was ready but asked what time I would arrive as they are only open for appointments on Sundays. He became argumentative and rude when I pointed out that he was at fault. TERRIBLE service, ZERO communication AND they asked for cash and were reluctant to take my credit card. The place is super sketchy looking. He doesn't have parts there "someone" brings him the parts. When I went to pick up my phone he kept saying the battery was too big and that's why my screen broke but I told him I dropped the phone but he insisted it was the battery. My screen broke because I dropped it but he knows better than I do. I got phone back with the new screen and it worked for 10 minutes. I brought it back and he said it was because of the battery. A problem I never had before. My guess is he switched out my phone battery for a bad one so he can sell me a new one. There's no way for me to prove that but it's fishy that all of a sudden my phone has an issue it never had before. Go somewhere else don't be seduced by the cheap price like I did.
