The worst service there were around 5 people in there not wanting to help and when someone finally did they were very rude and non helpful

There service was terrible. There was around 5 people in there not doing anything and when I walked in there they didn't care to help me and when someone did they were very rude. They also had a very limited selection on phones in the store. read more

Awful customer service in addition to condescending, rude attitudes. Manager spoke rudely in public regarding another customer after they left the store. AT&T makes it extremely difficult to do business with them! read more

I cannot say enough about Jeni & Angie at the Belton location. They are amazing!! I came in today around 9am when my service was interrupted. Really, the entire situation was so bizarre but to the point.. it literally took all day to sort out. I was finally headed home about 5pm. The entire day was frustrating & confusing for all 3 of us but these two magnificent ladies smiled through it & made it all worth it! It was fun talking with them & I appreciate their patience & dedication to fixing my account. It is sad to see a business run by so much contempt for customers looking for service or a new phone. Today's experience started with two ladies (one the store manager) both in a hurry to refer questions to the 611 service line. But I also had questions of new cell phone availability! This store is in serious customer service contact training support. Unfortunately this could be a sign of attitude toward customers up the AT&T chain of command. read more

Came in to see about upgrading my phone to a newer model. The young man helping me was extremely rude. At first he was somewhat helpful but seemed nervous around me (it happens, no worries). But then I questioned him about an item and he went into "I work here, I know what I'm talking about, you are a lowly customer.....just do what I say" mode. BUT I had literally just looked up this issue on the AT&T website (IE: did my research) about an hour before coming to the store. Instead of just saying something like "well, you might be right. Let me go double check" he got really defensive and acted like it was an argument between us. I was more amused than anything else. I calmly told him "dude, I just want to upgrade my phone. I just looked this up on the company website" and he interrupted and told me I was mistaken. At that point I just told him that his anger was making me feel uncomfortable, that I wasn't sure why he was getting so angry, and that I'd just go to another AT&T. He said "I am not angry" as he stood there with his chest puffed up and a scowl on his face. In his defense, he was pretty young, maybe 18-21ish. Maybe this was his first job dealing with the public. And maybe he was embarrassed that he told me wrong information and instead of going into apology-mode he went into a more aggressive defense mechanism? I just wanted to spend my money on one of their products..... So I went to one of the stores in Temple. The guy who answered the door told me it was going to be a 30-minute wait as there were 8 people ahead of me. There were two customers in the store, both being helped. I was the only straggler/person without somebody helping me. I guess people came in and left, but were put on the waiting list for when they came back? Odd policy to make people who are physically there wait for people who aren't there? AT@T makes it hard to spend your money at their stores!!!! read more

I've only been to this store a couple of times, and I've never received anything even approaching a satisfying experience. The staff are unknowledgeable, rude, disrespecting, and customer service is nonexistent. My most recent experience was taking in my laptop to try to find out why I couldn't access my AT&T mail. They weren't really interested in helping me or even finding out what the problem was. They heard the word email and that was all they needed to hear to assume they could just usher me out the door and move on to the next customer. Any excuse was fine. Basically, without reviewing my laptop, asking any questions, or probing the situation in any way, they gave me a number for their tech "helpline" after they pronounced me "locked out" of my computer. Whatever that meant. At any rate, no staff was able to offer a thing in terms of assistance so I left. (I then actually drove to one of the Temple offices but that's another review although sadly, not another story.) Bottom line, I brought all my devices home and was able to solve the problem myself. Note to these geniuses: the problem had nothing to do with being locked out of anything. It was actually relatively simple but apparently over their heads. Of course this is a low bar. If you are caught in a rainstorm and just need to get in out of the rain, you could stop in their store. If you need anything more substantive, skip them altogether. read more

Super friendly and helpful got me in and out and made it easy to understand. My rep was I believe the manager of the store. He got the door for me coming in and just seemed so eager to help me. I probably wasn't the nicest customer at first but he never lost his attitude which was awesome he kept a smile on his face the whole time and helped me through the whole process. When leaving one of his employees got the door again with a big smile. It is nice to see people still have some manners. I was just passing through to get back to Killeen and I think this will for now on be my forever att! read more
