Tech explained that phone was not infected but it was a phishing scheme for me to click the "Apple" link to remove virus - for a fee of course. I didn't take the bait. Tech took care of it over the counter in 30 seconds without charge. Phone 2: iPhone needed a new battery. Tech explained that reason for battery failure was the charging case. He showed us the damaged battery when we picked up the phone and explained how to properly use the charging case to avoid future battery damage. Both iPhones: wanted them to add VPN to both phones. He told us they don't provide that service, but gave us a trustworthy web site to find a what we wanted. Polite, knowledgeable and took time to fully explain every issue. 100% satisfied.

Even getting the repair done was misleading and annoying. The repair shop employee or owner was not true to his word on when it would be done, blaming the parts that were received and taking no responsibility in ordering the wrong parts. Very bad communication! I called him multiple times from my dad's phone and e-mailed, as he was supposed to keep me updated via either source and never did and only called back very late in the day like right before closing. Had me come to pick up the phone only to tell me once I arrived that he had just opened the parts received and realized he couldn't do anything. He said I would have to come back, but to try to be a big sport and make up for the inconvenience he said he would throw in a plastic screen cover. Once he was actually able to get my screen repaired, & came back begrudgingly to pick it up, he said the wrong phone screen cover arrived, again taking zero responsibility and not seeing how ridiculous he sounded. He told me I could return once again to get that once he re-ordered - had nothing in Stock. I declined, as I would never want to return to this establishment ever again! Still receiving random and kinda frequent issues with my screen functioning normally makes it all the more maddening that I put up with this process in the first place. Should've bought a new phone! I upgraded my daughter's phone who is serving in the military overseas so she cannot get it herself and no one explained to me that the SIM would be locked and she could not use the phone for at least 90 days! I have been paying the bill for a year and a half just so that she can keep and use that number while she is overseas. She uses an overseas SIM card so that her local calls don't cost an arm and a leg. She has been unable to use the phone and Gerald was very rude about the whole thing. If Verizon can unlock the SIM at 90 days, they can unlock it at 30 days. He also would not guarantee me that it would even be unlocked after 90 days or if I paid off the phone in full. He just shrugged his shoulders and walked off. It is ridiculous that I have to pay for a phone and my daughter can't even use it. You should consider some additional customer service training for management.

The fact that someone is impressed that a Verizon CSR transferred the data from one phone to another sounded great until you hear that Verizon charged them for that service! That's ridiculous! It's also nice to hear that another person empathized that customer service jobs are hard, if that was a real review. The other good review I saw was a person who was purchasing a few things and the CSR was helpful with that process.... of course, let's keep that commission rolling in. There were so many bad experiences and I truly hope this doesn't sound like I'm trying to one up any of them, because all of those experiences are horrible and deserve to be told and read. Here is my experience which is so difficult and disgusting to tell still upsets me. Today started with me looking for any Verizon store to visit other than Cortez Rd and 14th Street. After being there with my husband and kids for hours to open a 5 cellphone business account, in-car wifi, house & business wifi, as well as home & business landlines. I was then told it was taking a long time due to their computer issues. I was then told they couldn't set up a business account for me, even though my business was verified through my sunbiz.org account. I was then told by the manager (I don't remember his name, but I remember that he had tattoos, because we were complimenting each other's tattoos when I first arrived), if we couldn't finish in 10 minutes I would have to return the next day because it was closing time, even though we had been there for over 3 hours. Due to the stress of that, my husband noticed signs from me that an epileptic seizure was coming on. Seeing as it was 8:01pm my husband was told that if he went outside to get my rescue medicine, they wouldn't let him back in with it. OR... I could go outside alone walking on the concrete and hope that I would successfully navigate around the concrete parking bumpers without having a seizure and/or serious injury. So obviously we left and I due to the extreme stress, I had a seizure in the car. Then, 2 days later we went to Verizon in Sarasota. We thought that we had a great experience there, and though it wasn't great, it was good. However, I never got a lot of the features that I was told I was getting. It's very sad. You guys are the McDonald's of cell phone companies, you can have the worst customer service, charge a lot, and not care about the hard earned money that your customer's give you, because no matter how many customers and respect you lose or how many people you upset. It will never be important enough to you or enough customers to put you out of business. That's why you will never change or follow through with your empty promises. Ridiculous The part was only 45$! Not to mention all the places had to "hold my computer for 24 hours" to do their "own diagnostics" before they would even replace the screen. But I knew what my issue was but alas I got talked down to by desk boys who didn't know the difference between a linux vs windows operating system. Until I came here! Best group of peeps you will have the pleasure of leaving your computer with, they're ridiculously fast (fixed my screen in 2.5 hrs) only charged me 110 for the whole thing! And they're so freaking polite, they show you what they did, they'll talk you through the process, let you keep your old parts/or recycle them for you. My computers running great, this has become my official store for computer repairs that I can't do myself. When I move I will proceed to ship my computers to them. What a gem.
