Even getting the repair done was misleading and annoying. The repair shop employee or owner was not true to his word on when it would be done, blaming the parts that were received and taking no responsibility in ordering the wrong parts. Very bad communication! I called him multiple times from my dad's phone and e-mailed, as he was supposed to keep me updated via either source and never did and only called back very late in the day like right before closing. Had me come to pick up the phone only to tell me once I arrived that he had just opened the parts received and realized he couldn't do anything. He said I would have to come back, but to try to be a big sport and make up for the inconvenience he said he would throw in a plastic screen cover. Once he was actually able to get my screen repaired, & came back begrudgingly to pick it up, he said the wrong phone screen cover arrived, again taking zero responsibility and not seeing how ridiculous he sounded. He told me I could return once again to get that once he re-ordered - had nothing in Stock. I declined, as I would never want to return to this establishment ever again! Still receiving random and kinda frequent issues with my screen functioning normally makes it all the more maddening that I put up with this process in the first place. Should've bought a new phone! Save your money for that & skip the nonsense in doing business with "I-Fix-A-Phone" because they barely do!

You are forced to fight your way through a totally unintelligent AI that cannot understand simple requests and keeps looping you back to nowhere. If you're lucky enough to reach the phone system, you're rewarded with horrible sound quality they probably call music, constantly interrupted by lame advertising. It's exhausting. You lose patience, time, and goodwill long before you ever reach a human being. Geek Squad was once a reason to trust Best Buy. Today, even scheduling help feels like an endurance test. Two weeks go by, no communication. I went into the store again and was told the lens was in Miami because the tech didn't have the tools in the Sarasota shop to fix it. It has now been 4 months. I have demanded that the lens be returned and not only have they not returned the lens, but I just get the run around and blame shifting. I am having to resort to filing a small claims suit. Avoid this business at all costs.

I let him make the decision because he was also paying for the repair, he chose Techy on Beeridge and cattlemen in Sarasota because they gave him a fair price and assured him it would only take 3-5 days. well, after many lies, excuses and 6 weeks later he got it back just to get it home to find out it wasn't working at all. we brought it directly back to Techy and this went on for about another month. we dealt with the manager there (Theo) who we later found out was also working at the North Port store because we drove down there to see if that location could help us. at one time Theo told me over the phone that I called there too much and that's why he couldn't get any work done, I called 3 times one day because he kept prom me he'd call right back and never did. theo finally blamed the issue on a software problem and said it was something my son did wrong. I spoke to the corporate office and they informed me to request a work order from Theo . a refund and the owner's information so I could contact him. Theo denied all of that. initially when they opened the Xbox up they informed my son there was nothing else wrong with it except the loose port. My son is so disappointed and I'm still trying to do something. I will not stop when it comes to my son. what kind of life lesson is this teaching my beautiful boy. Shame on you Theo and shame on whoever the owner is for not reaching out to me and trying to solve this. please go somewhere else to get your repairs done. stay away from these dishonest people. I asked him for the store location expecting a card with the information, but he referred me to look for the address on the front door. I walked away and he said you can complain to whoever you like. I felt misinformed by this "rude" store manager! The Good: I called 611 from my car in the parking lot of the store and worked with a service tech who promptly and professionally resolved the issue. I was grateful to have my phone fixed and thanked him tremendously for a job well done. I then told the tech about my encounter with the store manager and asked if he could look up the information about the service fee. After several moments he came back and said it was false. I was disappointed and asked that they look into this matter closely so customers are not misinformed. I have been a customer at AT&T for over 20 years and never had problems with customer service.
