I will make a very long story short. We moved and switched service from Xfinity to Spectrum. One phone ported over successfully - the other did not. I spent 4 days trying to get this resolved with both Xfinity and Spectrum and spent countless hours at both stores and both pointing the finger at the other as to who was to blame for the issue. I decided to stop into a T-Mobile location as I was going to just get a new phone and new number. Within 15 minutes, the advisor at T-Mobile had the issue resolved. I was a customer with Xfinity for years and a new customer with Spectrum and neither company seemed motivated to help me with the problem yet a company that I'm not even a customer of gladly helped me out. Hands-down, the worst customer service in Manatee County so far. I try to take care of a billing issue and end up getting trespassed by the Manatee County sheriffs office. No manegement on site at the time all seven employees deserve to be fired for their verbal disrespect towards customers. Unfortunately, I almost feel singled out because I was the only white male in the building. It's extremely sad that our society has turned to this. I called Spectrum to cancel my service. Lee from Texas was the representative. After speaking with Lee, I didn't want to cancel, but unfortunately, the other company had just installed the equipment. I had intended to drive 30 minutes to return the equipment, but Lee told me that I could take it to the nearest UPS store. Which I did immediately. We all could take lessons from Lee. Kindness and good will go a long way. I may just sign-up with Spectrum in a few months, because of the service that I received from Lee in Texas. The date was January 6, 2026. I called to cancel my Internet because I needed to save money. They offered to cut my bill in half and gave me a free phone line. I wondered why they hadn't done that all along? From there the Internet on my phone was so slow. Their.auto billing was so confusing. I kept incurring late fees. They would charge my bank account without warning or notice. I called to complain. They were downright rude. They said I signed their agreement and it says they can do this. I told them I was so unhappy I'm thinking about leaving. They said that's fine, I have to do what's right for me So the next morning I called my past provider TMobiile. My boyfriend put me on his account and they gave me a line for $10. They also added Internet for $30. Spectrum was charging me $100. Then, as though he hadn't made me happy enough he explained after 60 days of using my new wifi service to go to their rebate application page and they will send me a $200 gift card I can use anywhere for anything I want. Now that's a company that wants and values my business. In 30 minutes I moved everything over to TMobile, from the comfort of my own home. Zane who helped me was super nice and helpful. I kept saying thank you and I hate Spectrum. He gave me his name and said if I have any trouble at all to call and ask for him. I've been with out a phone for two weeks. I am in FL and need a new phone (mine went in the water). They don't support phones from Amazon and they can't tell me what phone they support so I can buy one. I can't even buy one from them as they will only send a new phone to my MI address and I am in FL. My neighbor would go to my house and resend it to me but someone needs to be there to sign for it. I have had 22 technicians to my house over a 2yr period of time, it still doesn't work right! I had to use up all my PTO'S from work to have 22 techs come out so last year I had no summer vacation because of spectrum and it still doesn't work right! The second tech to come out said that whole main line is crap (not the line to my house) the main line that runs down the street but they won't do that that mainline has been up there for 50 years plus rusted bolt came off that mainline. You know how long it takes to rust half a metal bolt a long ass time. Spectrum has a license to steal from residents in florida without any recourse and the area i live thats the only internet company available pure bs. Spectrum needs to do the right thing by its customers that pay a premium price for pure crap. I've been 5.5 years with Spectrum. MANY service interruptions & price increases during that time. Not OK. But what was egregious was when I went to cancel my service today. Their customer service representatives insisted on "information farming", asking me what Frontier was offering, what they were charging, etc. I advised with last CSR I spoke with (CelinA), that I had already switched, so just cancel my account. It devolved from there. She insisted on telling me her "other customer's experiences with Frontier", because "that's her job". Zero - 5G is out all the time in West Bradenton, FL Leaving LTE service reduced to 1 bar of signal. This is the cell phone worst service on the planet! Had issues with home Internet and wanted to switch back to Frontier and was told that I would have to pay double for phone service! Spectrum/Charter cell phone service is so unreliable Cricket or Boost is a step up. Lesson learned the hard way. Obsolete shotty cables and bad port amplifiers. When I switched from Frontier to save a few bucks, installer left me hanging from a 2-way splitter. May end up taking them to court. Work from home and heavy rely on internet and phone service. I have been an internet user for almost 30 years, all the way back during dial up service (in rural Maine). I retired to a condominium community last year in Bradenton Florida and have forced to use Spectrum. This review focuses on the Spectrum response to Hurricane Milton. Simply put it has been less than stellar. They were not well prepared and despite some partnering with the FPL resources we are still left without cable, internet, and phone going on 16 days. We understand the extent of the damage to our area however Spectrum has communicated poorly, the phone tech support was left in the dark on the status of the restoration, and management did not secure enough resources. My spectrum was out for a week after my power was restored and when I contacted them to get a credit, they offered me $18.96 on a $296 bill!!!! Unbelievable..the worst part is that even Frontier had people up and online right away, only Spectrum didn't!! And NOW they won't even credit me for the six days it was off??? I despise Spectrum's service. They don't prorate service, even if you're moving. Their cost in my apartment for 1G speed is twice what I will be getting for 2G speed in the house I'm buying just a few miles away. The first time I tried to cancel, they took 20 minutes, dragging their feet and repeatedly giving me commercials for their services to carry over in my move, which I repeatedly told them I did not want to hear about. I had to leave while the guy had everything he needed to cancel and was just getting my confirmation number. They canceled the disconnection. I called in the next day and told them I did not want to hear anything about continuing service and just wanted my service disconnected. The service person kept trying to give me more ads, saying it was their "due diligence." I told them I didn't care and they continued to try to sell the moving service. Even with that, they still managed to get disconnection done in 15 minutes...then tried to keep offering more services. I hanged up. Their service in-home for 1G is terrible. Their shameless sales pitches are unwanted and they refuse to hear you. The only positive is that you can set an appointment in their office and they are good at getting you through with service changes - faster by far than when you want to disconnect via phone. read more

The previous reviews on this place are spot on! You walk in and are greeted by an employee who signs you in. There are 4 employees in the store but only two helping customers. Even with 7 people on the waiting list, the original employee who signed me in just sat clicking away at a laptop and was apparently only there to sign people into the kiosk, which you can do yourself, and the fourth stayed in the back most of the time I was there. Julian was amazing and provided excellent customer service and when my name was called, had me out in a few minutes. read more

I hate to say it but if I could rate zero stars I would have. I've never seen such poor customer service and setup of a store in my life. First, you must register that you are there on a kiosk that doesn't work very well if at all. No one greets you when you arrive or ask you what your there for. I think if someone could help people with the kiosk and answer basic questions up front things would go a lot smoother. After signing in, I looked up on a monitor/screen and saw our name listed at number 17, I spoke to a young lady who was number 5 and she said she was already there for over an hour now. All I was there to do was return 4 cable TV boxes. Evidently, all you need to do is take them to any UPS store and they will box and ship for you at no charge. So I set up an appt so they could cover open wires they left through the box outside. They said they would come between 11-12pm. I received an automated call that I had to be home with my ID ready. I'm waiting and waiting.. Then when it's past 12pm I call because I haven't heard from anyone. The spectrum person said they already came and fixed it. Why did they say I need to be ready with my ID? Why don't they have the decency to inform me that they fixed it? He may have fixed it by 11am, yet I'm waiting around here when I have things to do. They should let the home owner know. read more

Our Spectrum router needed to be replaced after a power outage. Spectrum gave us two options: drive 20 miles and pick up a new router or they would send someone out to replace it. We chose to have someone come out and replace it. Well that was not the right answer as this guy shows up and starts checking wires / cables all around the house. What we thought was just an equipment switch out turned into an "investigation" to try to find something wrong so we would incur a charge - so it appeared. He delayed giving us the router until he was through with his "investigation" as we call it. When we confronted him on why he was checking all the wires outside the house he got angry and defensive. We reported him but it appears as they (Spectrum) probably send these guys out to look for up sales. Not this time Spectrum. We will be moving to Frontier within a week. read more

I went to this facility on Sunday 10/15/23 to replace an 18 month old router. They had 2 customer support people on a Sunday afternoon. The wait was over 1 1/2 hours for an interaction that seriously took less than 2 minutes. when I told my customer service provider they needed more help she agreed. However, when I suggested they could occasionally just ask those waiting if they just had equipment exchange, she said they can't do that. Why would you not want more happy clients than frustrated clients. So, does anyone like their ISP provider? Spectrum management; want to avoid bankruptcy again? Take better care of your customers. Charter Management Team, I just wanted to pass on a great review for an exceptionally hard working young man, Elias Feliciano works in a client facing role at your Cortez Road Bradenton Florida location. I was so fed up with AT&T and I wanted to move to Spectrum for ALL my services. Elias was patient, kind and very knowledgeable. He really helped explain everything and was a wonderful help in porting my 3 numbers over to Spectrum. It was his demeanor as well as his attention to detail that really hit the spot. He took my awful experience with At&T and empathized and really helped the migration process become smooth and easy. It was a total accident that we found him, but, being in a Relationship Mgmt role myself I have to say this gentleman was TOP NOTCH. He is quiet, unassuming and really listens and exceeds the customers expectations. He really deserves some recogntion for his selfless servant leadership. It was a real pleasure to meet him. Don't lose him - you will lose customers if you do. In my mind you need 100 more just like him, that have not forgotten the client experience especially at on boarding is so important. It's no wonder this place has 1 star reviews from every one. I went to Spectrum early on a weekday to drop off a router thinking it wouldn't be busy and the service would be quick. There were only 4 people in front of me when I arrived. There was one employee helping people and another employee going around asking people why they were there even though that question is answered when you sign in on the iPad. Another worker came in and went straight to the back with the other woman who was going around asking people why they were there and telling them they would be helped shortly. After an hour, only 2 people had been helped. The one woman was still with that second person. I decided to leave because it was very clear I wasn't going to be called up anytime soon. At this point there were about 12 other frustrated people in line. If there are 4 employees in the store you would think they would all be working. Nope, just one. Won't be going back. read more
