A BCS technician was on the phone a few more minutes, and to my pleasant surprise convinced Apple that this was a product problem not a customer problem - Apple agreed to replace the phone. By noon the next day BCS had received a replacement phone from Apple, and loaded my apps and info onto it. Thank you several Nashua employees for advocating on my behalf.

There have been great employees at BCS and not-so-great ones, but I've always found service and pricing to be fair. Since Vermont does not have an Apple store or a Genius Bar, this is as close as we get! I was shocked to see negative reviews here, it really suggests a need for customer service training. Kindness and helpfulness go a long way to retaining customers. Patrick Brown himself is a very helpful guy, courteous, patient, and a straight-talker. I have bought my last 5 computers from him. On an unrelated note, I updated to Sequoia and the Find tool no longer finds anything. Zip, zilch, nada. This is CRAZY. Also I get a Bookmarks Syncing error message every 10 minutes with a long page of code that means nothing to me. Every day now since Sequoia -- 20 times a day -- It's awful. Wish Apple would admit Sequoia is a dog.

In turn that leaves our Radio Shack employee more time to look at computer porn, get softer, and worry about what version of andriod is running on your phone. Needless to say this kid did not know too much about what I was looking for. They had some of the stuff, but they are moving away from that kind of thing to cell phones and cameras. Circuitry is what most of our modern world is made of, and remarkably tons of this stuff to interact with circuits is out there waiting to be discovered. A few years ago, my phone charging port was not working right in and I was in the process of getting new phones and changing providers. He couldn't repair it. He hooked me up with a gadget to charge my phone till I got the new ones. Today I stopped by because every time I plugged my cellphone auto charger into my saddlebag port on my Indian Chieftain motorcycle, it knocked the FM radio right out. All FM. I also have had issues in my truck with certain FM stations using these cheapo chargers. I showed Ibrahim when I brought my bike in today, and he said............"I'll be right back". Brought out his auto charger and BOOM. All good. It takes A to C and C to C cables also! It was the cheap dollar store chargers that were causing all the interference. I had also bought some quality in home wall chargers from him when I got new phones. They work GREAT. He sells "the good stuff" but much cheaper than the phone dealers. I bought 2 of these new auto chargers for our vehicles and 1 for my bike. When my current major carrier contract runs out I may go with a service that he provides because he treats you right and makes sure he can help you. If he can't fix your phone, he can put you in something else. Highly recommend.

I walked into the store and my guest and I were greeted with a kind warm empathy towards a dire issue where we needed a phone and quickly as we were leaving the state. Nova went right to task helping us through the turmoil and we were able to connect on some shared experiences and stories. We were in and out in maybe 45 minutes with warm smiles on our faces. She played dumb until she got called out and even then she would try to put all of the blame back on the customer. She was not helpful at all and had zero resolution besides "this wouldn't have happened if you went to a corporate store". NOTED. DO NOT GO HERE - take the extra time and go to Hadley. I will tell everyone I come in contact with what terrible experience we have had over the last few months dealing with this one woman and this store so they can save themselves the stress and headaches.
